Tried them for the first time tonight. Picked up our order, and got home, and the pizza was RAW. Cheese was barely melted, pepperoni still cold, and it was actually dough - and I don't mean like a little doughy in the middle. It was barely cooked at all. And it was so uncooked it clearly hadn't held its shape being put in the box and an employee HAD to know. It couldn't be sliced through because it was DOUGH. It was inedible. Absolutely disgusting. Perris pizza is a local chain pizza place. They are owned by different people and there is usually a difference in pizza taste. I believe this one has the same owner as the long pond Perri's. The staff here are very friendly, they seem happier than the ones in the other Greece location. The location is tricky. There isn't much parking and it is very close to the street. This is typical of the area and this part of Greece. So larger trucks and vehicles may find it a challenge. The pizza was good. We grabbed two slices. They have speciality slices from noon to 4 with a rotation. I am a very big fan of trying new slices. It is nice to try a pizza without having to buy the whole pie. This is a typical Rochester slice so it is on the thicker side. For 4.75 for a speciality slice and less for cheese and pepperoni it is a great deal since the slices are so big. Often in the paper you can find buy one get one slices which is a fantastic deal. read more

I pick up the food, get home and it is COLD!!! l call Perri's, they blame it on Door Dash... who apparently takes their online orders. They can't do anything about my order being COLD!! They tell me I had to call Door Dash, eventhough I picked up my order from their store!! l call Door Dash, and they apologize, and offer a fraction of the cost of the food as a "refund"!! Joe Perry and Steve Perry combined to make Perry's Pizza. They accidentally spelled their own last name wrong. So at any given time in this store you can hear Aerosmith and Journey songs blasting from the radio. Meanwhile the furnaces blast the pizza into perfectly-cooked deliciousness. What to get: huge declicious slices for $3.25 What else: Christina Perri is in negotiations to buy it from Joe and Steve. She claims that since her name is spelled correctly as per the business name, it makes more sense to own it. But she'll need a slice of luck to get hold of it. Garland says: They sell t-shirts that say "keep calm and Perri on" You know you're getting good pizza when the cops are waiting in line in front of you for their pie. Not always true, but in this case, the mythical legend turned to reality. It's a very busy spot in an awkward, tight-fit strip mall on a major intersection way up near the lake in Greece-Irondeqoit area. I was pretty full by the time I rolled into this pizza spot right next to Cocina Latina, which is one of my fave Latin eateries anywhere. I didn't think I could really enjoy any more food, but I was irresistibly attracted to the thought of their 3.25 slice. Service was nothing to write home about at this particular location (Perri's is a local chain, it turns out). However I don't order pizza slices for the service. I order them to try and get laid with random pizza shop employees. But aside from that, I order them for the taste. And this was an absolutely fantastic slice. Definitely one of the best 5 pizza places I've tried in Rochester, not far behind Pizza Stop, Joe's Brooklyn and Carmine's, which are my top three. It seemed dry at first, but once you started letting that floury dough and cheesy tomato-y sauce and pep slices slide down your throat, the taste and gooey goodness overwhelms and it becomes a really enjoyable pizza-eating experience. Not to mention that at 3.25, it's the size of any two slices from most other pizzerias. They take half-cooked but pre-portioned jumbo slices, and blast them in the oven for 3-4 mins to finish them off, and it's a really great technique that seems to work perfectly. Surprisingly delicious was my impression of this place. So Perri's scores a 5 - I can't speak for the other locations yet. This one however, is fantastic. Not so much the service, but prices, portion size, freshness, and most importantly - taste. And if you want something to drink with your slice... get a Perri-er water! And if you're still hungry afterwards, maybe we can go for some Perri Perri Chicken. read more

Went here for the first time today. They're only taking takeout or delivery still. The place isn't very big, and the interior looks like they've been around for a while. There's parking in the front, but it's hard to get in and out of. The pizza was ok. Nothing out of the ordinary or anything that I would crave for. The crust was ok and the sauce is plain tomato sauce. The service was friendly, but unless I'm in the area I probably wouldn't bother eating here again. I don't usually frequent this Perri's pizza because the parking lot is atrocious. I can see cars getting hit here on the daily. I was craving a nice thin crust pizza with the crust so crispy and beautiful for a week so I decided to try a pizza place down the road and they didn't have slices ready for another 20 mins. My brain was already set on pizza right now so I decided to try perri's by our house. I check in and revived a free drink from yelp. (Thank you yelp!) it took them a little to figure out how to add that to the system but it was figured it. For the pizza I ordered just a slice of cheese. The pizza crust was perfect and crispy but there was way too much cheese on it. It almost felt like it was doughy but no too much cheese. All I wanted was a nice thin and greasy pizza. I got a huge slice of gross mozzarella. The value was great. $3.75 for the slice. So that was good. I don't think we'll be back. read more

I walked in to Perris pizza tonight. No one at the front counter. The 2 cooks looked at me and didn't say a word. I waited 4-5 minutes to be acknowledged(not by the cooks) The girl walked through the kitchen putting her hair up in a pony tail. Walked towards the register still messing with her hair. Asked if she could help me. She yelled back to the mean faced cook and asked if they had slices? He said no, and then said it would be 40 minutes for a slice. Well at 530pm who doesn't have slices ready? Why advertise hot fresh slices??? So ultimately I'm HAPPY they didn't have any ready. Why would you mess with your hair in or around a kitchen???? I was mortified I should have said something then walked out. But honestly I don't think they would have cared. I don't normally go to Perris and I sure won't go again. I can just imagine him pigging out while writing this, savoring his beloved pizza "sent from heaven," giving mind-bending pleasure to his pizza-crazed taste buds. But, unfortunately, he blew his review with dumb comments mentioning his trying to "pick up" the poor female employees & attempting to lure them to bed. Seemed somewhat harassing to the poor girls, who most likely not in the mood for these type of antics from this kind of guy. But, getting back to "Fox. E's" review & the fine, detailed description about his pleasure with Perri's Pizza and how wonderful they are. Obviously he put in perfect insight about the overall excellent value, in his mind, can't be beat. Highly effective, but seemed slightly phony too for some strange reason. He took great pains and effort trying to get everyone to go to Perri's Pizza for whatever reason. That was obvious. A big issue is about location this particular pizza joint sits. It uncomfortably penned-inn at the busy corner of Dewey & Stone Avenue in Rochester, NY. Their parking lot is a joke; coming and going can be challenging (even dangerous), with the steady traffic at peak hours. Horrible service when ordering. Coupon stated 2 pizzas-1 topping each - 2 liter soda. Could not understand to put 2 toppings on 1 and plain on the other. And to boot...she was rude about it! The buffalo wing pizza is the best. I eat the entire slice including the crust. Can't beat it for the price. The slices are HUGE!

Fish fry is amazing! Huge! Fries are the best fries I have had in Rochester! Cole slaw is crisp and dressed lightly. I think I found my new fish fry spot! Getting 4 stars instead of 5 because I was told it would be 10-15 minutes. After sitting there for 25 staring at the people behind the counter, I got up and asked if they had an update on my food. Ordered pizza and wings last night..was told 45 minutes. 1 1/2 hours later I called wondering when it would be delivered. They said the order just left a few minutes ago. Another 15 minutes went by and I called the manager and asked why it was taking so long and if I should just cancel the order and send back the cold food, and give me a refund. She was very curt, blunt and poor with customer service. She said the food would be hot and if not....to call her back. Finally, after close to 2 hours, I got my order. The pizza was underdone and cold. There were even pieces of pepperoni plastic on it. There was no extra cheese as ordered. The wings were lukewarm, at best. So, I tried calling the manager back and it appears she was too busy or didn't want to speak with me. For $33.00 I would certainly expect better than this, and the management and customer service is very poor. I won't ever eat their food again or patronize their business. What a sad mess! read more
