The owner then left the country and sent his father to do the work. Afterward, I received a call from a third party claiming to be the contractor, threatening to remove the scupper unless payment was made immediately -- completely unacceptable and alarming. The repair failed. I still have active water intrusion, and it has caused interior damage to my home. This company showed a serious lack of professionalism, oversight, and accountability. The workmanship did not resolve the problem, and the billing tactics were concerning. Homeowners - proceed with extreme caution! Verify who is performing the work, how payments are handled, and whether the company is operating to proper standards. ----------------------------- Your response contains multiple inaccuracies ... First, your claim that you "tried calling me multiple times" is false. You never called me. I have no missed calls, voicemails, or call logs from you after the work. What I do have is a saved voicemail left on 4/11/25, immediately after the work was performed. Second, your statement about nonpayment is also false. I paid a deposit on 4/04/25 and made final payment on 4/18/25. Both payments were made by credit card, and I have full documentation proving this. At no point was payment withheld "for over a month," and suggesting otherwise is simply untrue. Third, the call threatening to remove the scupper came from a third party claiming to be associated with you, and it occurred after the work was completed and while payment had already been made. Regardless of how you now characterize it, that call was inappropriate and alarming, and it happened under your company's name. Finally, the scupper installation you recommended did not resolve the leak. I continue to have water intrusion, and it has caused interior damage. Shifting blame to "the rest of the roof" does not change the fact that the specific repair you proposed and performed failed to correct the issue it was meant to fix. I signed my contract and paid my $200 deposit on 6/6, they cancelled 2 appts (which I told Larry for each appointment I had to take a day off from work) however workers finally showed up on 6/18. They looked at my roof and told me hat I needed new wood barge and they could not do the flashing/caping, so I asked them now what. They called (Larry) who tells me that I now need new barge and that's an additional $1500, I told him no just refund my $200 and I could get another company to do everything including replacing my siding for ($3200)....Reliable did not want to give me money back, Larry said hears the deal they will put a seal (silver) on the main roof, subroof & porch roof just pay the current $900 balance and he will have the guys come back on 7/13 to do the barge & capping for another $900. Me thinking $1500 to $900 has to be a deal. I said okay send me an email confirming the price and date and I will let the workers do the work and pay them. He sent the email but what happens I sent a reminder email to Reliable in 7/12 and he said they would not be able to make it out because something happened to there truck, it is 08/02 I just had my wood barge replaced, capping/flashing and siding fixed today by another company for $400. My email on 7/12 I expressed to him how I felt like dealing with his company has been a roller coaster ride and his response was about his truck being down and he would call me on 7/13 or 7/14 to give me an update when they could put me back on the schedule. Unfortunately, it's companies like this one that makes it hard for other companies. Reliable - Don't call or email to take this review down I've had the worst experience with you ever. I also paid them to put a new pilot house door and siding ( which they cut short in spots) so I wouldn't have this leak after I fixed the interior. Now it's all ruined again.
