Danny, the owner, told me they could swing by and take a look. I finished my walk, and within minutes they were already at my house. They put a ladder up and immediately saw I was missing shingles. Danny was shocked I wasn't getting water inside. Without hesitation, he and his guys grabbed shingles from their truck and fixed the problem right then and there. He told me it was his "good deed for the day" and refused to take a dime. Danny was incredibly kind, easy to talk to, and genuinely cared about helping. His crew was just as polite and professional. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am for Danny and his crew for the amazing, prompt and professional job they performed o my elderly mother's deteriorating and leaking roof in Philadelphia just a few days ago. I had a small leak next to a skylight, and Danny and his team quickly found the source of the problem. The previous installer hadn't added flashing. Danny was very responsive and kept me updated throughout the entire process, even following up afterward to make sure everything was good. He also went the extra mile by replacing my gutter downspout and taking care of some rusted shingle screws. The price was more than fair for the work that was done. After two big, windy rainstorms since the repair, I can confirm the issue is fully resolved. Was time for a hot coat again this year. Was contacted by the owner about a month ago to see if I was still interested in them coming out. I said yes and they contacted me closer to the due date to set up a time that is convenient and if they could actually come the next day. I said yes to the next day. The guys were to arrive by 8:30 a.m. but actually showed up at 8:10 a.m. They said it will take a couple of hours. True to their word they were done in a couple of hours. What I like is that they take before and after pictures and Danny Gucci sends them to me by test. He always asks if you are satisfied and if you have any questions or concerns, just let Danny know. My rowhome roof was in okay shape, but was pooling water in some areas that needed to be built up, and the whole thing needed to be resealed. Not a major job by any means, but since I just bought the house, my insurance required the work to be done within 4 weeks. I asked around to some friends, and pored through reviews in the Nextdoor app, then called 3 of the highest recommended roofing companies I could find. After 2 weeks, multiple calls AND website contact forms for each, only 1 company got back to me, just to tell me they couldn't do the work for at least 3 months (!). My time was running out. In desperation, I asked if they knew of any other reputable companies, and that's where I found Gucci Roofing. You know a roofing company has to be good if other roofing companies recommend them. I quickly looked them up to make sure they were legit, and then made a frantic call to Danny. He got back to me within the hour. We then texted some more details about my repairs, and he provided me with a quote by the next day. I told him I needed to have the work done with photos and a receipt delivered in less than two weeks. This was early December, and every roofing company was backed up by bad weather in late November. But Danny squeezed me in with more than a week to spare. Joe and the team that came out were friendly, courteous, and clean. Not only did they provide quality service on my roof back in 2021, but, i called them on Monday about my rain spout not functioning properly and Dan got back to me right away and had his crew out here right away.
