I wanted the triple meat burrito without the tortilla so they made me essentially an omelette pizza.

The food is excellent. The coffee/lattes perfection. It's a small mountain town coffee and breakfast spot that has a nice interior and should not be missed. The girls behind the counter are very nice and accommodating even when busy. Come give them all your business. I've been up here many times to hike and fish and can't believe I'm just now finding them. My son needs you to know their chocolate chip cookies are great.

Driving by to North Cascades Park we happened upon Perks. Easy in and out, right off the road with plenty of parking. The interior is cute and clean, with a bit of indoor seating. They have a decent selection of breakfast options, as well as a small selection of pastries. We ordered a breakfast burrito, bacon/egg English muffin sandwich, 2 danishes, a drip coffee, and a latte. The hot food was a bit of a wait, but was handed off fresh and piping hot. The burrito was good, both in taste and size...but the muffin sandwich was the winner, YUM...great flavor with lots of crispy bacon. The coffee is really tasty here and served extra hot, thank goodness. Not the cheapest prices, but we felt it was worth it. Great food and friendly service-highly recommend.

Super yummy & filling breakfast. Latte & vanilla latte were amazing! Lots of options too. Waffles, pancakes, eggs, sandwiches, paninis... clean spot with a nice bathroom & tables to sit. Great service as well.

This place is a gem with the friendliest service in town, delicious breakfast fare and some fine coffee. It's a counter service type of place but they will bring your food and beverge to the table and will bus the table for you. I ordered a plate with ham, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and wheat toast and a 20 oz latte. There were only 2 ladies working (one was the barista and cashier and the other was on the grill) and the place was busy inside and out/drive-thru but they were able to manage a reasonably fast service with a side of smile. I enjoyed my coffee and my breakfast. The food was prepared well, the serving was enough to feed 2 of me and I have no complaints. My latte was delicious. I wish I was able to stop by another time. It's nothing fancy inside but organized and clean which is a big plus to me! They seem to have mostly regulars but if you're not, they treat you just as wonderfully as if you've been there so many times before except they won't know your order by heart like they do their regulars! If I ever find myself in this town again, I will surely be back. If you're from out of town or out of state, I highly recommend stopping in and grabbing a bite and a drink!

This place is wonderful!! A cute little place right off the highway. Great coffee and delicious food. I ordered the avocado toast and it was scrumptious! The service was friendly and fast.

Customer service sucks. Very awkward and passive aggressive ordering process. Always takes an absurd amount of time to get your food.

Great coffee and great food! It's one of the best local spots I've been to in a long time. I'm definitely a coffee snob.

This co-op in Skagit is filled with healthy alternatives, fresh produce, and even a juice/coffee/snack bar serving up some delicious bites. I found a number of local products and beers to buy from the grocery side, and a mushroom sandwich. I cannot properly describe the deliciousness of this sandwich - you just had to be there. I also loved that the co-op's second story is filled with the most unique home and gift items you'll find. Everything is sustainable first, and they even have a decent book selection. Couldn't imagine a better place to spend my Saturday, just wish I lived closer so I could visit every weekend.

It's a neat grocery store with fresh build-your-own sandwich options, bakery treats, gifts and trinkets, wines, and a lot more. We ordered sandwiches from the kiosk where it prints a ticket to bring to the counter. You can purchase other items with your sandwich, too. We had ordered two pineapple conchas from the dessert case for a post-lunch dessert. The veggies on the sandwich were so fresh it hit the spot for a light midafternoon meal. There is an upstairs seating area, it's really quiet and private. After we ate our lunch, we looked at some trinkets in the gift shop that's upstairs too. It truly has it all!

This is for the "just passin' through" folks like me. It was August 29 of the year of the pandemic, and we were heading home after a camping trip. My boy was getting hungry, and restaurants with outdoor seating were scarce, so we decided that groceries were the best way to satisfy him. I masked up and went in alone. This was my first real encounter with small town scorn for public health. People in other small town businesses have looked like they resent the mask rules, but comply for the sake of the tourist trade. For example, I saw two mask scofflaws at the supermarket in Forks. (And yes, we even see scofflaws in the city occasionally.) But here, the place was pretty busy, and maybe a quarter of the customers were unmasked. Most of those tempting the virus to hasten their demise looked old, or infirm, or depressed -- but they were also endangering people who still have a reason to live. Although I was trying to shop quickly, I didn't know my way around the store, and I had to search to find a decent, no-preparation snack for my boy. During the search, I found one irresistible impulse purchase: a huge jar of raw honey for a respectable price. The treats at the in-store bakery were pretty picked over by 4:30 pm, so I settled for a red velvet roll cake, for about what I'd expect to pay in the city. I took my purchases to the one open cashier. (They were short-handed; I heard someone apologizing about that.) She was wearing a mask, but it only covered her mouth. I'm glad there was a plastic shield, and room for me to back away from the cashier through most of the transaction. I paid with a card, and the card machine was mercifully quick. Back in the parking lot, I showed my wife and our boy the cake. (The honey will be a surprise for later.) It calmed his hunger, and my wife and I indulged too. But it wasn't something I'd highly recommend. It wasn't until my wife asked that I read the ingredients list, and I think it was mostly sugar, with some cooking oil, some flour, and some dairy ingredients in the frosting (which was delicious). We'll probably finish the leftover cake, mostly because we hate to waste food. My two-star "Meh, I've experienced better" is partly a reaction to the mask scofflaws. And I suppose it's not fair to count inconsiderate customers against them. But a cashier showing her nose? Not good. But it's not just the pandemic. The bakery shelf was short enough of items that I settled for the cake, which was disappointing. I didn't experience the employee friendliness mentioned in other reviews. On the plus side, there was the local raw honey.
