Good food, good service and quiet atmosphere. We got seated right away and the friendly waitress brought our menu and made a couple suggestions and in less than 1/2 hour after ordering, we had our food. I was really excited about ordering from here since it got good reviews on uber eats. first of all please Uber users be honest. I ordered a Cajun salmon with fries. The salmon was lacking flavor and it seem like they forgot to add salt. I couldn't taste the Cajun. It looks like I only got 10 fries And the asparagus were over cooked. My ordered seem Like someone had already eaten from it. I should just go with Thai basil . My loss! read more

If I could rate it more acccurate, it would be 4 for the coffee and service. But the waiting for the ordered menu takes time. If you are in a hurry, don't go there! The menu list is limited, but the selections are delicious. The Bisquit platter my favorite. Like I said, the coffee tastes good and not weak. A big plus on our list! read more

Ok Don't visit here often. Once a year to take my elderly mother shopping and to lunch, and she loves the muffins. Great muffins that is for sure. However I am 0 for 3. Service was better than last time but checking out the young lady at the register treated us as rude as I have every been treated when I asked for the muffins. I asked For 6 muffins and she snapped give me your ticket, I paused and said 6 muffins again as I didn't think she Heard me. She snapped a n a louder voice, yes I heard you I have a method to my madness, then rolled her eyes and said, give me your ticket. Slammed in the amount. Do not order lemonade. It is the worst concoction of water and sugar with color you will ever drink. Service on the other hand is pretty good and servers are friendly. Food is of variable quality. You never know what you are going to get any day. It seems like they have their chefs on a rotation or something. We have eaten here about once or twice per year as we traveled from WI to Brookings, SD. We have always had good service, good food like all Perkins we encountered. Today was no exception. We arrived at 9:20am as many others arrived after local church services. 2 of us in our party, seated immediately. Waitress appears in short order. I had eggs Benedict and my husband had made to order breakfast including pancakes. Our food arrived in a very reasonable time. Our waiter Anna, was very efficient and in a very good mood. Friendly and not appearing rushed, just very pleasant. Our meals were hot, tasty and of course filling. We both had real ham with our meal. Mine was in my Benedict and was not Canadian bacon or lunch meat variety. At the time we're there the restaurant was quickly full. Noise was of an appropriate level. We were not distracted by it. I'm writing this review as I read the older reviews as we were traveling, I was surprised as we had always had good results, no complaints for this location. Time to update to current status. We highly recommend this location and we suggest it when your traveling through or if you're a friendly local. Visting from chicago. Our service was horrible. Our waitress didn't tell us her name, she didn't check to see if we needed refills , we had to ask a different waitress for refills, we had four people and all of our orders were half cold half warm. Then when we told the waitress she said she would let the manager know. I watched her tell the manager and the manager never came over to talk to us. Then while we were still eating she asked if we wanted pie but we still had over half our plates left. When we said no she dropped the bill off and she never came back. We eat here once in awhile and don't usually complain as sometimes the service and food is good but this morning I was very dissatisfied and it provoked me to write. It took over an hour to get our food and when it finally arrived was cold. We flagged down a waiter finally since ours never checked back, and sent it back to be warmed. The hashbrowns though were brittle and tasteless. When we checked out, the hostess always asks how our meal was. I often wonder how this place has stayed open with the amount of bad food I hear them serving. I recently decided to give it another try after they went through a big remodel. For starters, the remodel is great and it looks very nice inside compared to what it looked like before. The food however, did not get any updates. The menu looks a little different, but the food is still lacking like before. I ordered the butterball turkey and gravy meal and my turkey was as thin as a piece of paper and as hard as a rock. They didn't mess up the mashed potatoes, thank god. The biscuit that comes with it was rock hard as well. There is a side of stuffing that was very dry but the gravy and a whole glass of water helped get it down. The service there is sub par and could use a little help. I'm not saying that every server there is sub par, but the guy that served us was. I gave them two stars because of the remodel and the fact that I've eaten at a one star and they weren't quite as bad. I will give it another try in the future and order something different and see how it goes. read more

FAIL FAIL FAIL. NEVER EVEN RECEIVED OR ORDER. I tried to have lunch with my dad today who came from out of town. No success. We showed up at 11:45 and knew it could be busy on a Sunday. We sat in a short period of time, greeted nicely, got drinks soon, and ordered. After 30MINUTES noticed we had no one come offer refills or check we were doing. We made jokes thinking because it was busy there was a mixup with orders or something. I'm an understanding person when I see its busy. After 1WHOLE HOUR most people sitting around us cleared out. We were sitting at a booth for two towards the front of the restaurant so multiple workers had to walk by repetedly noticing TWO PEOPLE SITTING THERE WITH EMPTY GLASSES FOR A FULL HOUR AND ALL BOOTHES AROUND THEM EMPTY WITH DIRTY PLATES. We stuck out like a soar thumb. We stood up to walk out hoping for anyone to acknowledge us and nothing. Thanks for wasting my time, but at least I got a glass of pop and water, no refills. read more
