This is my first pregnancy and the experience I had with this doctor office was horrible. I choose…read morethis clinic because it was closer to my house, but now I rather go somewhere else. I understand the office is closed due to COVID, but I never received a called to go to an alternative place which the answering service told me they are calling patients to give them those options. I called multiple times and spoke to the answering services because I went to the hospital twice the doctor at the hospital told me to speak to my doctor immediately, but unfortunately I can't get in contact with my doctor. The Answering service wasn't helpful at all. They inform me that the office is close and they reopen on Dec. 13th but the first week might be busy so I might not get an appointment for the first week. I told them about my trip to the ER and that I was instructed to see my doctor immediately and nothing changed. So far every other office I found wants my medical records from this office before they see me and they wont even provide that. I go on the website to make a patient portal and it won't even let you register. Overall don't go here. First time pregnancy and this is a horrific experience. Also they charged me for services that my insurance company paid for !!

****BEWARE**** I had to choose one star or Yelp wouldn't let me post the review but Zero stars…read moreshould be an option for this doctor!! Do not go to this practice!! Everyone from the receptionist, to the nurses, and doctor are ghetto, and unprofessional. They don't answer the phone, won't return phone calls, forget to unlock the door and forget to disconnect the phone systems from the answering service after returning from lunch. Every time that I call they hang up on me about three times before I actually reach someone who knows how to operate a phone, but those things are minor compared to the reason I am writing this review. I don't know where Dr. Tyndal Jones received her license but it should definitely be revoked. I have very painful and long periods and wanted info on having a hysterectomy. The doctor that I normally see advised against the hysterectomy due to my age (44) and suggested that I instead have a uterine ablation where they would remove fibroids (detected by ultrasound) which would eliminate the pain and heavy bleeding. I wanted a hysterectomy as I had been dealing with the pain for several years and the uterine ablation has a low success rate. This is where Dr. Jones and Signature Healthcare come into play-I went in last year late 2018 for a second opinion and still seeking a hysterectomy. Dr. Jones agreed with my first Dr and recommended the uterine ablation which she performed on 12/26/2018. Prior to her performing the ablation when I went to her office for pre-op she said she changed her mind and I should have my uterus removed instead. Now I'm confused and I say to her you told me a hysterectomy was not in my best interest and talked of vaginal prolapse and other conditions to convince me to only have the ablation and now 2 days before the procedure you change your mind. She then tells me that the hysterectomy is the only guarantee of no more periods . At that point I should have got my ass out of there but I was so desperate to rid myself of the painful periods I proceeded with the ablation. Afterwards she told my husband that the procedure was successful and I didn't have fibroids after all just fatty tissue. I was told the recovery time was 2-3 days but I was out of work in excruciating pain and bleeding for 6 weeks! I called the doctor several times and was advised that she had seen that happen before and although it is not normal she did not think it was necessary for me to come in. As a matter of fact when she got on the phone with me after her nurse transferred the call she had no idea who I was. She never pulled my chart and just insisted that birth control pills would help. I reminded her that due to my medical history that I could not take bc pills and she said "oh yes you have blood clots" which is incorrect. I have never had blood clots doc! Look I don't expect her to know me by voice or name- I know she has many patients but she didn't even care enough to pull my file so that she can give me the help I so desperately needed. Since the ablation I have been in more pain then ever before- back pain, pelvic pain, leg pain, side and lower stomach pain, and on top of all of that menstrual cramps! I have called her and been seen by her as well since then and each time I express the pain that I have been experiencing during my period. I asked if it was related to the procedure and if something else maybe wrong but she just shook her head no. I told her that I have difficulty walking, passing urine/ having bowel movements when my period is on, told of the side pain and that it feels as though my ovaries are going to explode still nothing from the genius doctor but a prescription for Percocet. Finally I went to a GI doctor thinking the side pain may be my pancreas or appendix and guess what their CT Scan found that my gynecologist couldn't?! Huge ovarian cysts on both ovaries?! Please ladies save yourselves do not go to this quack. Men do not let your wives endure the suffering that I have experienced over the past year. I am begging you. Now some may think this review is TMI and I don't care! My goal is to prevent this from happening to another woman! This doctor only cares about repeat customers. She gave me a failed ablation and when I was on the phone literally crying in pain 4 weeks after the procedure she asked me if I wanted to schedule a hysterectomy? Unbelievable! She then told me a few months ago that she now recommends a hysterectomy but that she will leave my ovaries- my ovaries which I now know are the source of my pain!! Stay away!!!

My 1st visit I saw Dr Cook and although she seemed a bit distracted she was very nice. I have had 4 treatments and there were issues each time. It seems even with blood work they could not get the levels right. Messages to the text service can go unanswered for days! When calling i constantly had to state and restate my issues as if no notes were taken. The last straw for me here was that I made an appointment in April for a May visit. The day before my appointment I received a phone call stating vitamins are now required to be purchased from them and it would be an additional $75!!! My appointment was literally at 8:30am the next morning! When I explained I already had the vitamins and they were NOT $75 they said the policy changed and was effective this week. But my appointment was made over a month ago under the OLD policy! I was devastated because I needed my pellets but would NOT be taken advantage of by this doctor. KNOW BEOFRE YOU GO!

I'm updating my review because I have a feeling that I was just a little bit too harsh on Dr. Cook…read more I guess, you know, I did a lot of research to find her and I expected that I would get out of my visit something at least worth the effort I put in. Now that I read my review I'm guessing my issues was more with the WellStar Cobb OBGYN (which I will never ever step foot into again) and less with Dr. Cook. I'm hoping she leaves for a better practice so that she can offer better service to her patients.

Throughout my time here, I've been given conflicting diagnoses by different doctors, with little to no clear communication or coordination between them. Instead of feeling supported, I've felt like I've been sent in circles without real answers or a consistent treatment plan. I was also prescribed medications that I clearly expressed concerns about due to potential side effects, yet those concerns were not properly addressed. On top of that, I've been required to pay for multiple appointments just to obtain paperwork that should have been provided alongside my diagnosis. I've also paid for additional visits under the expectation of receiving treatment, medication, and documentation--none of which have been delivered. While the nurses have been kind and professional, it does not make up for the overall experience. The lack of follow-through, communication, and care has caused unnecessary mental, physical, and financial stress. I have been waiting for months for medication that was promised for a condition that significantly impacts my quality of life. My emails, portal messages, and calls have gone unanswered. At this point, I will not be returning. I cannot recommend this office to anyone seeking reliable or consistent care.
