Unfortunately, some of the staff have made my experiences at this office extremely uncomfortable. During one of my visits, a dental assistant repeatedly commented on the size of my tongue and made me feel as though I was making her job difficult because I struggled to keep my mouth open. I have a sensitive gag reflex, which is something I cannot easily control. Instead of showing patience and understanding, she made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. The interaction continued even as I was leaving the office. Despite that experience, I decided to stay because I genuinely liked both dentists. However, my most recent interaction with the front desk was the final straw. I called simply to ask what treatment had been submitted to my dental insurance so I could better understand potential costs and plan accordingly. Since I don't work in the dental field, I naturally had questions about the insurance process. Unfortunately, the administrator spoke to me in a dismissive and condescending manner, making me feel as though I was asking foolish questions and wasting her time. I was simply trying to understand my treatment and the associated costs. I want to emphasize that not everyone at this practice has been unpleasant. I've also encountered staff members who were genuinely kind and helpful, and I appreciate them. It's unfortunate that a practice with dentists I truly like is losing a patient because of repeated negative interactions with certain staff members. They're located off the Katy Freeway near IKEA, on the south side between Wirt and Antoine. The office shares a parking lot with Memorial Tacos, a dry cleaner, and some boutique shops. The parking lot is spacious, so parking is never an issue. Inside, everything is spotless and modern. The front desk staff are always kind, competent, and welcoming. Their hygienists are amazing -- especially Shauna, who is both personable and incredibly skilled. And both Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen are outstanding. They're highly competent, never push unnecessary services, and take the time to explain everything clearly. I've been coming here for years, and they've redone a few old fillings from decades ago with excellent results. I always leave feeling confident in their work -- and with a nice little goody bag! The advice they've given me over the years has actually worked, and my dental health is better because of it. I sincerely hope Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen keep practicing for a long time, because I'll be coming here for life -- and so will my kids when they're grown.

My experience was disappointing from the start. First, the staff refused my request to complete new patient forms in advance, falsely claiming it would only take five minutes. During the exam, Dr. Rafiei claimed I had a cavity requiring immediate drilling--a shocking diagnosis given my strict oral hygiene and clean dental history. When I hesitated to move forward with treatment, Dr. Rafiei made it clear he was displeased. Seeking a second opinion, I subsequently visited two separate dental practices. Both dentists confirmed independently that I have zero cavities. I strongly advise others to get a second opinion before agreeing to any restorative work here.

My first visit with…read morehim, he diagnosed a problem with my tooth that my other previous dentists had missed, possibly for years. This unfortunately led to needing the tooth to be removed, but he was able to guide me through the process and connect me with a wonderful oral surgeon. Throughout the process, it was evident that he was closely communicating with the offices of the various sub-specialists, coordinating my care, and probably spending time outside of his normal clinical hours to do so. Dr. Hassid has a very calm, patient bedside manner. He always takes the time to explain things, in clear, simple and easy-to-understand terms, and makes sure all my questions are answered. I can tell he really cares about his patients. His office staff are also all excellent - extremely courteous, accommodating, and professional. As an example, I had an appointment with him this morning. I received a phone call that one of the staff had called in sick, and my appointment would need to be rescheduled. However, very quickly, Dr. Hassid went ABOVE and BEYOND to accommodate me into his schedule today, so that I could still be seen. It definitely wasn't necessary but really showed the level of commitment Dr. Hassid and his team have toward their patients. I think I'll be a patient here for a very long time.

They were extremely thorough with my cleaning, and talked to me in-depth about the condition of my teeth based on various x-rays and photos: what I'm doing right, what I could improve upon, what I might be at risk for, and more. The dentist also talked me through what to look for when buying toothpaste and mouthwash, and provided scientific explanations for which products work best. The new patient/scheduling process is very smooth, as well. I simply filled out the new patient form online, got an email the next day from the office to schedule my appointment (which worked great for me, since I often can't take phone calls during the day), and was ready to go. Overall, I'm very impressed with the organization of the office and the kindness and consideration of each individual I interacted with! Definitely recommend.
