I was greeted by the owner, he explained to me about the perfumes they carry and how he and his brother started their interest. After smelling a few, I made my decision of Bodacious by Boadicea the Victorious and Impadia by BDK. I was thrilled and happily went home. Fast forward to March 7,2026 my second visit. I live 1hour 45 minutes away, so I leave early to avoid any traffic. I got there as soon as they opened, and again get a warm welcoming greeting. I brought my daughter with me and we tried several perfumes until I decided on Mind Games Check Please. As we were chatting, I was asked if I was enjoying the other two fragrances I had purchased and remembered which ones I had purchased! Needless to say that impressed me even more. Myself being in Customer Service for over 30 years you don't always remember each customer that you encounter. The fact that I was remembered, shows me how much they love what they do and appreciate their customers. This experience right here is what made me a loyal repeat customer. I went with my wife to Lincolnwood Town Center to look for a bottle of perfume. It was my wife's…read morebirthday and Carson's was the first place we stopped since we are used to buying top quality designer scents at department stores. My wife tried several new fragrances which were priced at $115 or higher! She tested these and decided to walk around to see how they smelled after a few minutes and some walking around the mall. We decided those prices were more than we were willing to spend-even on her birthday- so we looked at the mall directory and found a specialty store "The Perfume Outlet" I suggested we visit and to my surprise all of the scents we just sampled were there in gift sets for a whole lot less. We sampled others and the ladies there were so helpful in asking the right questions so that my wife could narrow down one she liked. She sampled several and each time she came up with some different questions , the ladies were happy to answer which made her decision so much easier. When I asked about price, I was told "don't worry , we will work with you and make sure you get a sale price". This allowed me to continue shopping and look at some fragrances for me. I am picky about what I wear and do not want anything that makes me smell like a 20-30 something, I also do not go with the trends and want something that is unique and sophisticated and very classy. So when I mentioned to the ladies, "I am a business man" , they immediately pulled out a special fragrance set from Salvadore Ferragamo which was exactly what I like. I almost couldn't believe they were able to match me with the right fragrance immediately. Now I am absolutely sold on this store for scents and fragrances. They stock all of the classic scents for men and women and all of the new designer perfumes as well. I was able to get significant discounts off retail on each bottle. Once I was done paying, my wife was so impressed, she sent me back in for another perfume she and I liked which was one the ladies recommended by Lacoste. So to give you the honest and true experience, I was able to buy 2 bottles of perfume and 1 bottle of men's cologne for me for the same price that I would have paid for 1 bottle of perfume at Carson's. You simply cannot go wrong at Perfume Outlet at the Lincolnwood Town Center. If you care about price, selection, service and value , these ladies deliver . I was sent out with a special gift from the owner-a Special Men's Scent from Gucci !! Not sure what the other reviewers were thinking. I believe they did not take the time to sample, ask questions and let the ladies help you select your scent. You need to spend the time to sample, respond, and sample some more to allow them to help you narrow down the scent that is right for you. Do not worry about the price, it will be 30-40-50% lower than what you will pay at the department stores. The right designer fragrance at outlet prices. It is the BEST!

In comparison, the online store is greatly cheaper and if you are lucky to check prices during a clearance sale you'll know what I mean. There is one gal that works here that has been working here for years whose service over the years sucks and continues to do so. Stuck up, thinks she's hot shit and says she's lost her sense of smell so she really can't help me pick out a new scent. WTF? On top of that she has no sense of humor so while I'm trying to be nice and spend alot of money in here, she sucks in general. If you shop here as often as I do, you would know who I'm talking of.

It's time to stop giving Sephora money since none of it is going back into training or service.

I can spritz myself crazy with every new perfume on the shelf and these people understand. There's a wild energy here, as this location is always packed, and buzzing. There were helpful sales staff on the floor, offering suggestions, making recommendations. I do think the person at the register could be a little nicer.
