My daughter loves Five Below and she can sniff them out before she even sees one with her own eyes!…read more While in Folsom last week, she smelled one so we went in to see what new items they had available. This Folsom location wasn't much different than other locations, but we did end up buying a few things - she picked out some K-Pop Demon Hunters PJ bottoms which were $10 - definitely not below $5. I also grabbed a couple of cans of a new Alani flavor plus some other little trinkets. The store was pretty big and well organized. My only complaint was the person who helped check us out at the front - I asked how their day was and it was a bit of an overshare -- to the point where it kind of made my friend and I uncomfortable. We all go through things in life, but I found it a bit odd that they would share that information with a stranger. Not sure if we'd come back to this location!

First off, this is such a good location for a boutique. We don't have that many boutiques in Folsom, mainly just chain clothing stores, so I am very happy they opened a shop here. They have a good selection of bralettes, t-shirts, dressy shirts, jeans, casual and fancier dresses, and jumpsuits. They also carry beautiful jewelry. The store is beautifully arranged--it is very easy to find what you are looking for. Their prices are very reasonable for a boutique. Today I came to Apricot Lane to look for dresses to wear to upcoming weddings. When I walked into the store I was greeted and as soon as i started picking out clothes, Alicia offered to put the clothes in a fitting room for me. My name was written on the door to the room. As I continued to pick out clothes she brought them into the room for me! She asked me what I was here shopping for and as I was trying on the dresses I picked out, she brought me some that she thought I would like. Very nice of her. I ended up buying a dress and a dressy jumpsuit. I'm excited to wear them to the weddings and excited to shop here again. Thank you Alicia for going above and beyond!

I'm extremely surprised by many of the reviews on here as we had a completely different experience. I do not by any means look rich, fancy, a size 2, or anyone special and we were treated wonderfully. The ladies working were so sweet, they even showed us several ways to wear a dress we purchased. The prices are very reasonable and for the quality let me tell you from experience the clothes last! I'm a person that washes my clothes after every wash and I still have the first sweater I bought from them in 2013, it still looks amazing and has not faded a bit. So, if anyone thinks the price is a little more, it's because of the quality. I will never stop buying from Apricot Lane... and I highly recommend this location to anyone and everyone.

Abby was working there when I went in and was, beyond the best customer service. Abby took the challenge to help me find a super specific outfit. She didn't disappoint, she rocked it! She had great suggestions and was so sincere. I know I'm rambling at this point, but I just can't say enough great things about my experience. I was never the cool kid, I know like nothing about fashion. Abby didn't judge me at all, she just stepped in like the best friend you wish you had and helped me. I will definitely be going in here more often as they keep their inventory relevant to the season. Add on, my boyfriend says... while he was trying to find stuff to send my way in the dressing room, Abby helped guide him in a way that made him feel like he was doing a great job contributing! She made him feel included.. We both agree. Abby is amazing, and so is the merchandise.

Meissner Sewing in Folsom, CA…read more There aren't a lot of shops like these left. Sewing shops that sell sewing machines, notions, and fabric; and provide lessons.. I was in need of a new measuring tape, bobby pins, and scissors. So instead of ordering off the internet from the rain forest I drove to Meissner. A real brick n mortar shop staffed with real people (not a Bot) within the community. It was my first time at this location. The shop was clean and organized. It had a ton of sewing machines ranging from $200 beginner models to several thousand dollar versions that self embroidery, run automatically by preprogramming. Fancy! They also had a wall of notions and a section selling fabric. The staff working were awesome. Helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to talk with. Farah even told me about their classes that they offer onsite. They have classes on how to use certain models of sewing machines besides their sewing, quilting. and embroidery classes. So many classes offered; ranging not only on topic but skill levels. They even have a class that will introduce you to the basics on using your sewing machine. No judgements. The sewing machine doesn't have to be bought from them, if it is then the class is free. They aren't open on Sundays. And I recall the shop doesn't stay open particularly late.

I drew the line after being told by the very same cashier that is always there, that a coupon I had picked up from the counter in late February, and wanted to use 10 days later, must have been my imagination. I was checking out and I said to the cashier that I needed to go to my car to get my $10 off any purchase of $50 or more coupon. She told me I must be thinking about another business. I paid full price, but when I got into my car, I saw the coupon. No surprise, that's the kind of stuff I came to expect here which is why I didn't go back in to get my $10: didn't want to deal with the attitude again. I tolerated this difficult place 3, maybe 4 times total. The last time I was there the employee who stays on the floor said to me a very derogatory way. "You're always here". Well, I might be as I sew a lot but now, I drive downtown to High Fashion Fabrics to get my sewing supplies. Actually, I'm glad I was driven to find an alternative because the choices of fabrics and extras is quite vast at High Fashion Fabrics and I'm not only treated well there but have received some good sewing advice.
