This was the most rudest encounter I've ever experienced and we hadn't even met yet. Just based on the phone call you can tell he is not really interested in hearing you and what you're trying to say about the problem with your vehicle he just wants to be sure he has an appointment bringing him money. He cut me off telling me " Look listen just go get this" and when I was trying to ask for clarification for the timing belt kit he hung up in my face. Then proceeded to lie and say it was an accident.. so why not call your customer back? Cause it was no accident especially with how I was cut off on the phone and he already seemed agitated. but I'm glad he showed his true colors cause that was $600 dollars that I gave to someone else who deserved it and did a fantastic job on my car. And I hope he don't come on here under my comment talking nonsense cause I have your number and you will get another piece of my mind, I promise you that. So don't comment at all just Do better. Businesses grow not only because of quality work but quality CUSTOMER SERVICE and he does NOT have that. I hope no one waste their money or time on this man. Since AutoZone was completely no help whatsoever, I decided to swing by O'Reilly's instead for a…read moresecond opinion before I go to the mechanic shop. I walked in and another attendant was thoroughly helping a customer search for parts on the computer/cash register. I waited a bit and was greeted by Erick. I asked Erick if they can run code on my vehicle since the "maintenance required" light is on. He explained that if that light is on it means that the car is letting you know that you need an oil change. I told him that I got an oil change at Take 5 in New Braunfels, TX (what I thought was recently). Erick explained that if the oil change has been completed then the light needs to be reset. He said that I would need to take it back to the place I got an oil change, take it to any oil change establishment, or learn how to do it at home. He didn't specify why he couldn't do it, but gave me reliable concrete suggestions. I absolutely loved that Erick explained to me in depth what was going on and why. He is a professional in this field and gave me, the customer information that didn't have prior to coming in. It was absolutely gold star experience! I ask myself why I couldn't get this same experience at AutoZone and I know why because O'Reilly's actually cares about their customers. When I got back to the car, I realized that my last oil change was in September of last year and I am due for another. So he gave me spot on information too. Before I left, I complimented Erick glasses. They were very cool to look at. He smiled and thanked me.

Upon arrival they checked the battery and sure enough it was bad. The most awesome part is that they asked me what battery it was before ever driving to the store to confirm that they had one in stock. Upon finding out the battery was bad Steve quickly grabbed a new one off the shelf, did a little paperwork and sent me on my way. I had the problem fixed in a short period of time and all was well. My dad always praised NAPA as being the next best thing to OEM parts. The only difference is NAPA tends to have better service than the dealerships for sure!!!! None was available at this location, but he let me know Jones road had them available. Kobe did an awesome job by managing the exchange of my left low beam headlight, and left rear turning signal light. Kobe is very professional & polite.
