I asked Mark to install 3 plugs on the back side of the engine, the hard ones to replace. He advised that would require and hour of service $138. I agreed and signed the agreement. I ended up with a bill including $126.00 diagnostic test. I was told, a new or rebuilt transmission would be appropriate. Do you think they checked the transmission fluid? No but they charged me $126.00 to read the code. I understand car Dealer Service Centers earn $1,000,0000 per year. I think Mark is right up there, ripping off people like me. If you are an honest operator, is there any hope for people driving older cars ?? Try checking the Transmission fluid level, it is not impossible even though it is a sealed system, it has a cap clearly visible and accessible. Gary K.

When I arrived, there was no Matthew there, and the owner, Mike, refused to honor the agreed-upon price. I was told that post was an old ad and it was my fault for not checking the date of the posting, even though Matthew was communicating with me via that same post. ?? Mike would not budge on the price, even though I had photos of the originally-advertised price and the time it was changed on fb. On top of that, they charged me a credit card service fee. I have had some issues since the beginning but nothing out of control up until July of 2025. From July to present, I had taken my car to SIX different mechanics. My tires had been cupping since my factory set, by 50k miles I was having more severe issues such as vibrations, whomping noise, feeling as though I was on a rumble strip, swaying, and wobbling. At first, I was told I was not rotating my tires enough, then was told its due to my tires being shot, then because I had a twisted rim, then my suspension... Some of these mechanics would simply write me off after calling and telling them I was still having issues, some made me feel as though I was crazy, some were simply guessing without even inspecting my car, replacing what they thought might be it, while I was paying for it all. Wisco Automotive found my car had been in a bad accident prior to me, frame was damaged and fixed prior to me, a lot of replacements on the body, wheel assembly was bent, the camber was way off and bolt kit was seized, all four wheels were out of balance, discount tire never put the hub centric rings on my new rims, AND firestone recommended and put tires on my car that are not meant for my car leaving a noisy and rough ride. After a year and a half of ups and downs and feeling as though I was screaming for no one to hear... WISCO AUTOMOTIVE GOT IT FIXED!!!!! They are the FIRST to truly LISTEN and actually inspect my car fully and thoroughly. This car was literally every ounce of my stress over the last 4 months. It got to the point where I just parked it in fear of it not being safe and chewing up yet ANOTHER good set of tires. I literally do not have the words for how grateful I am for Wisco Automotive, I finally found good, honest mechanics that went literally above and beyond to figure this out, just like they told me they would in the beginning. Loren pulled favors, worked after hours, and borrowed tires to test mine, just to ensure he figured it out PROPERLY. I'll never trust another mechanic but Wisco Automotive after everything I have gone through. Thank God there are still honest, common sense people out there. I truly cannot thank them enough. From the very outset I had concerns but was often given answers that glossed over the issue. I was given the impression that the owner over saw everything that was going on in the shop, which turned out not to be the case. For example, work was done on fenders that should have been replaced rather than repaired. This was done after I replaced the rear fenders that were in better shape than the front fenders they worked on. Parts were forced to fit (doors) which damaged other parts (hinges) that I have since had to replace. Parts that came with the truck (shocks) were charged to me and then were not on the truck when I picked it up. The billing statements that were sent never matched up with the work that was being done. In one instance, work that was done on another truck was charged to me. The excuse I always got was that the shop that worked on the truck previously had done a poor job and that they had to work thru that. After six months and $19,000 in charges the truck was not finished. I was told that it would "only" take another $8000 to finish it. I could go on but I think you get the point. The truck is now being done by a professional shop which could not beleive the workmanship, or better stated, lack there of, of Wilson Classic Cars. I would not recommend this shop under any circumstances!
