I recently went to someone new for blonde highlights and it came out terrible. Random patches of hair were left untouched leaving me with giant dark brown areas. And the hair they did actually color blonde looked fake and streaky. Luckily I was coming up to MA for Easter and I called Toni to see if she could fix it. I found Kenzo through a quick Yelp search and chose it based on the pricing and proximity to my house. It was tough to find at first at the salon is actually up the stairs in side the building on the corner downtown. When I arrived I was immediately greeted by the receptionist and checked in to a bright, well kept space. My stylist, Liz, was very professional and kept great conversation the whole time - I could really tell she was passionate about her work. She was thoughtful in making her cuts and asked my preference for the blowout for my final product. I was pleased with the cut, a reshaping job she did to my hair. The session ended with a small gift bag with hair product samples, it was so cute. I was pleasantly surprised with the price as well - $52 for a cut and blow is the least I've spent on a salon appointment in years. It had been about a week an a half since my visit and I had received some unmarked mail at my apartment. When I opened it I was shocked to have received a handwritten thank you note from my stylist. Despite having an overall stellar experience before, this small gesture really solidified my positive experience ex Kenzo. I urge everyone in the northern Boston area to check it out, you will not be disappointed.
