I travel 100 miles each way to have my hair done with Michelle at Amore Salon. I have tried over the years to find someone else closer to home and no one ever comes close to her talent as a stylist. She is truly an artist with transformative abilities with my unruly and ever changing aging hair. It's worth the ride every time and she never disappoints. I am so blessed to have my very own hair guru! Love her and this special place to beautify her clients. This place embodies its name in every sense of the word. XO read more

Valerie has been my hairdresser my whole life and has done so much on my hair from simple cuts and layers to highlights and full color. Everytime I walk out of Amore Salon I leave feeling refreshed and so much lighter. She truly does not only an amazing job on my hair but making me feel comfortable and fulfilling my requests entirely. She listens to what I want and always makes sure to double check to ensure satisfaction. The atmosphere of the salon itself is calm and relaxing with soft music playing in the background and super personable and friendly hairdressers. Safe to say that even though I am leaving for college I will still only get my hair cut at Amore Salon when I'm back on my breaks. They are incredible. read more

Michelle is the best!! I will never go anywhere ever again.. she saved my hair. Super sanitary environment as well

What a great space!! Seriously. I saw Nicole and she did a wonderful job. I went in with roots and wanted a partial highlight and a little pink underneath. I didn't have a ton of time due to childcare and she kept it brief and did a great job! She used a pink that could be used without bleach (yay!!!) so our appointment would be quicker. I thought she was so kind and I loved her!! She did a wonderful job touching me up and making me look on point. Thank you!! read more

Amore Salon - Pink and highlights - Hair Salons Near Me - North Reading, Massachusetts

I have been coming to Amore salon since its doors have opened and have been seeing Michelle, the owner, since before that. Michelle is AMAZING. She listens to what you want but also gives you her input on what would work best for your hair. I have NEVER left disappointed. She takes her time with each client, making them feel right at home. Before seeing Michelle I tried three different salons and none of them got the right tone for my blonde hair. Anyone who has blonde hair will understand this, Michelle was spot on her first time around with me as a new client. It was perfect and continues to be a brilliant blonde! My hair was super damaged before seeing Michelle from all the over processing other stylists did to try and get the blonde right for me, but Michelle got my hair healthy and strong but conservative cutting, conditioner treatments, and recommending the proper products for my hair. Thank you Michelle and all the girls at Amore Salon for my amazing hair! read more

Michelle and all of the employees at Amore salon go above and beyond to make each client feel pampered and help their hair visions come to life. I have always had a hard time finding someone to do my highlights to my liking but Michelle gets them perfect every time! I can confidently say I have found a forever hairstylist in Michelle. The staff has always been accommodating to squeeze me in for last minute hair styling for important events. It is evident from the moment you walk in the door the pride Michelle and all of the staff at Amore take in personalizing their craft to make everyone feel beautiful! read more

Amore Salon is just as gorgeous inside as you feel walking outside after your appointment. The Salon has such a great feel to it when you walk in. You barely get in the door before you are warmly welcomed by the staff. Hairstylist Kiara is amazing. She is beyond talented. For myself, I am one to never know what to actually do with my hair. I usually just let the hairstylist take control and do what he/she feels would look best. I'm always nervous about letting new hairstylists do this as it could always go wrong. Well, when Kiara took control it went everything BUT wrong. I will not let another person touch my hair now. She is amazing, talented, personable and professional. I have never received so many compliments on my hair color and cut before. I can't recommend this salon and Kiara enough. Walk in having a bad day, leave having a good one. Walk in feeling sad, walk out happy. Walk in feeling ugly, walk out feeling beautiful. This Salon and Kiara make it all happen. read more

Good hair salons are hard to find, this is a good one. I am extremely picky about the way my hair is and Michelle, stylist and owner, has worked wonders with my hair!! She is patient and listens to what I want. We recently tried a new color and a few hours after I'd left the salon I hated it!! Michelle got me back into the salon chair ASAP and corrected the color free of charge. I am so happy with the outcome. The salon itself is welcoming and always clean. All of the stylists are friendly and it's a fun light hearted environment. Beware. Kind of pricy. But you will get top notch quality here. read more

Love my hair Wendy did an awesome job my husband will definitely be pleased

Love love love. Michelle and her team have been incredible! Not only are they kind, they're SO knowledgeable, so talented, and they listen. Sadly, that combination is so rare, in my experience! It's so important to me that my stylist listens to my concerns, etc, instead of just viewing me as another head of hair to get done and move on with. Background, I stupidly bleached my hair during quarantine, and burned a bunch off, meh, nightmare. I told Michelle what was going on, and how I wanted to focus on my hair health, and growing my hair out, and not bleaching it anymore, but I didn't want that stark color difference at my root...wow did she deliver. Her and Becca went over the products they use in my hair, answered all my questions, told me why they were using what they were, etc. Amazing. Emphasized to me that what I do at home is arguably more important to my hair goals than what they do in the salon. Such an amazing help and I can see a huge difference already. Aside from the incredible talent, knowledge, and education, Michelle has a good heart, and I value that as much as how she treats my hair! Thank you, Michelle, Becca, the whole team at Amore! read more

I had such a great haircut with Michelle! I found Amore on Yelp while searching for a salon that specializes in curly hair - this is totally the place! Michelle took tons of time to educate me on how to care for my hair and the haircut was one of the best I've ever had. I'm getting way better results from my hair than previous cuts and products and feel so well taken care of! Will absolutely come back for more product and cuts! read more

I generally keep my hair at waist length. Cutting it is a maybe once a year event because I prefer long hair and I am never happy with a cut. When I went to Valerie at Amore I was hesitant and just wanted a trim. We chatted and decided to cut a few inches and bring me to bra length. Valerie listened and understood my hesitations. She added volume and layers. This is the first time ever that my hair is short (short for me, long for others) and I love my cut curly or straight. I usually never put my hair up, but it finally has some texture to it and now I wear it up all the time. I would recommend Valerie and Amore to anyone. Planning on going back soon for a trim and color! read more

I visited this salon for the first time today and will most definitely be back. Nicole listened to my concerns about my curly hair, and with her knowledge and talent I am sitting here with a hairstyle full of gorgeous ringlets which hasn't happened in years. She and Michelle were personable and welcoming, and I would recommend their salon to anyone. Thank you Nicole for giving me the best cut I've had in years! read more

Had an appointment with Michelle today and wanted something new and a change for the fall. As usual Michelle delivered above and beyond my expectations! I walked in as a strawberry blonde and walked out a deep chocolate brown! I keep doing double takes at every mirror I pass by! I highly recommend Michelle and Amore Salon! You'll never leave disappointed! read more

Amore Salon - Before & After done by Michelle @ Amore Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - North Reading, Massachusetts

Yesterday, it was also my first time experience with Amore Salon. Salon looked nice and clean. Michelle intruduced me to another lady to do my hair cut. I told her what I like for the hair cut and showed her a photo of expected result. After a quick hair wash, we did have fun to talk about many things during the process... however, turned out it only got slightly shorter and not much has changed. I didn't get discount on the first visit, instead I paid $55 although the booklet describes as women Hair cuts & Style at $45+, and I was told it cost $10 to do blow dry. After I went home, I noticed some hair residue were still on my forehead. My husband didn't notice I had a hair cut and said the same thing " nothing has changed ". At night, when I went to bed, my hair started itching throughout the night. read more

Very disappointed, I really wanted to love this place - I just moved to the area and wanted a local go-to stylist, and all the reviews I read seemed positive. To be fair, most reviews mentioned Michelle, and she didn't cut my hair, another stylist did, so perhaps I would have had better luck with her? I showed a picture and we discussed the cut beforehand (pretty simple, my hair is long and straight and I wanted to add some noticeable layers and chop it up a bit to get that 'V' in the back). I left the salon with a cut that looked like a bob from the front (an uneven bob at that, one side is a good 1/2 inch higher than the other) and in the back - uneven, choppy, no real layers to speak of, simple a weird rat tail piece in the middle. I posted both the inspiration photo and an actual picture of my hair immediately following the appointment, just to give a better idea of how off-base it was. Suffice it to say, completely unimpressed and just thankful it's summer because it's been in a non-stop ponytail since leaving the salon. read more

Valerie and Michelle were both extremely nice to me when I arrived at the salon, as well as when I left close to 9:30pm! I went in as a new client, and had a full foil done, as well as a haircut to take off about 12 inches of hair to donate. Valerie was very knowledgeable, gave great tips on styling my hair, and was talkative throughout my whole stay. I didn't know ahead of time that they typically don't allow a tip to be added on to a credit card, but they put it through for me as an exception. Very friendly, will definitely return! read more

Today was my first time going to Amore and my stylist was Valerie. The salon was very clean and everyone who worked there was very encouraging and nice. I had my hair foiled for the first time in about 5 years and it came out great! I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone in or out of town. They also gave me a 20% discount as a first time client and honored a yelp coupon, so I got a great deal on top of great color and cut! read more
