My PT, Ryan, is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. He listens carefully and takes my pain seriously. Thanks to his expertise and the support of the entire team at Berman, my pain has been significantly reduced. I finally feel like I have my life back. While some of the treatments weren't always comfortable, they were absolutely effective--and worth it. Ryan also gives me tailored exercises to do at home, and they've made a noticeable difference. Everyone at Berman is professional, highly educated, and truly committed to their patients' recovery. After my first hour of therapy with them it was sore but they freed it up a bit. The doctor then stated he thinks i should be seen 5 times a week for the next 6 weeks for a package deal totaling over $9000. Seemed super excessive. And my 60 minute visit turned out to be 50 minute. They started 5 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early. After my first visit and doing some home pt and laps in the pool, i felt 90% the next day. I think its a crime when they try and sell you $9000 worth of sessions when you may just need 1 or 2 or 5. I was not in a car accident with multiple injuries. On top of this they do not take credit cards. Nor do they do the electro therapy or even finish with a hot heat pad. On top of this, the therapist hadn't used or was in need of deodorant which made the 1 hour session difficult. They put earning the almighty dollar first. This is a huge lack of integrity and is becoming more common place. I do not recommend them

It's been 2 months to the day that I had emergency hip surgery after falling in a parking lot…read more Dr. Hanypsiak from Physicians Regional Medical center conducted the surgery perfectly. I had already scheduled rotator cuff and bone spur surgery with him as well. Unfortunately, the Home physical therapist was terrible and I developed a crippling limp and my leg would swing out to the left with each step. I fired that company just before the shoulder surgery. Dr. Hanypsiak who did an amazing job recommended Collins Physical Therapy Institute who I have been working with now for 3 weeks. They have already corrected my limp and leg swing! Furthermore my arm can go over my head due to their wonderful physical therapy. Okay yes it hurts, but it'll be real soon that I am back to normal again. I am grateful for being in such competent hands - literally!

The staff are all super friendly and very on point. I am grateful to have found this team for pain management.

Tiffany wanted to resolve the underlying problem vs just treating the symptoms. She aligned my spine, reduced my scoliosis, and eliminated my back pain. Now we spend our time resolving minor injuries (rotator cuff or knee injuries) which never got attention w chronic lower back pain. They changed my appointment time without consulting me and then simply assumed I would show up at the new time. This level of disorganization is unacceptable; it shows a complete lack of respect for a patient who is coming in to feel better--yet with this kind of stress, no one could possibly feel any better. The appointment was scheduled with Candice, who did not call to consult me regarding whether my schedule could be changed. The supervisor, Rebeca, simply maintained that the appointment was rescheduled because *they* were experiencing issues; as for *my* issues, no one felt it necessary to consult me. You have been warned about the type of conduct and lack of consideration for your time shown here; this organization acts as though the patient exists at their disposal, rather than the other way around.

My mother, who has been living in an assisted living apartment at Terracina Grand for the past 6…read moreyears moved to The Gardens at Terracina Health and Rehabilitation after she had a stroke. We spent a long time looking for the right place for her and were happy to have found this one. My Mom is 91 years old and has had frequent hospitalizations in the past 10 years and we are so grateful for the care and patience with which she has been treated for this extended period of time. She has several physical therapists and occupational therapists in both the Gardens as well as her apartment at Terracina Grand and they always work with her to build up her strength and get back to a normal way of life. She has been in a wheelchair ever since her stroke but there are always enough CNAs and Nurses who monitor her medication and get her to and from the bathroom, as well as work with her when she has problems swallowing. The food is very good particularly at the Gardens and even though it sometimes must be softened so that she can easily eat it, she is usually able to rehabilitate herself with the help of the wonderful people who attend her there. We couldn't be happier than to have a place such as The Gardens for Mom to recuperate in until she is strong enough to go back to a more independent lifestyle which is available at Terracina Grand.
