Berman Physical Therapy - The top rated physical therapists near me!

Berman Physical Therapy

I had been struggling with persistent left hip pain for over 4 years. I went through two X-rays and…read moresaw two orthopedic specialists, but nothing conclusive was ever found. One doctor even suggested a hip replacement. Thankfully, a friend of mine who is a retired Physical Therapist recommended I try Berman Physical Therapy--and I'm so glad I did. My PT, Ryan, is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. He listens carefully and takes my pain seriously. Thanks to his expertise and the support of the entire team at Berman, my pain has been significantly reduced. I finally feel like I have my life back. While some of the treatments weren't always comfortable, they were absolutely effective--and worth it. Ryan also gives me tailored exercises to do at home, and they've made a noticeable difference. Everyone at Berman is professional, highly educated, and truly committed to their patients' recovery. Seeing Ryan and his peers has been one of the best investments I've made in my health and well-being. Thank you, Ryan, and thank you to the entire team at Berman Physical Therapy for your dedication and care!

After my first hour of therapy with them it was sore but they freed it up a bit. The doctor then stated he thinks i should be seen 5 times a week for the next 6 weeks for a package deal totaling over $9000. Seemed super excessive. And my 60 minute visit turned out to be 50 minute. They started 5 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early. After my first visit and doing some home pt and laps in the pool, i felt 90% the next day. I think its a crime when they try and sell you $9000 worth of sessions when you may just need 1 or 2 or 5. I was not in a car accident with multiple injuries. On top of this they do not take credit cards. Nor do they do the electro therapy or even finish with a hot heat pad. On top of this, the therapist hadn't used or was in need of deodorant which made the 1 hour session difficult. They put earning the almighty dollar first. This is a huge lack of integrity and is becoming more common place. I do not recommend them

Water Works Total Rehab - With my beloved Water Instructor and Massage Therapist Debra Collins 11-18-16

Thoroughly professional and fun place to work with pros for your PT needs…read more After tweaking my back, my neurologists sent me hobbling to this facility. To keep with the water theme, there is blue everywhere. From the blue parking spots out front to the really blue walls in the reception area. And on your first visit, you are given a bright blue bag with a strict order to return each time with a towel and "swim shoes" in that very bag that cautions, WATER WORKS client approaching. Stand still. Very still. Swim shoes, you might ask? I did. They are sold by Water Works for a ridiculous price and look like hospital socks. Ew. Or you can bring your own. So I opted for my own water socks that last pushed against the bottom of a kayak and which protected my footsies from the sucking mud near the mangroves. Now, everybody's socks including mine had to protect Water Works from law suits while broken people (including me) gingerly made their way down the steps into the warm waters of their prettyand very blue, indoor pool. Make your appointments for late afternoon. There is natural light in the pool area, and the afternoon sun refracts into patterns on the pool's ceiling. Put that together with melodies sung by one of the therapists - she sings like no one is watching . And I thought that was reserved for dancing! Awesome. You'll be back on your strongest feet in no time. The therapists are dedicated, skilled, and ready to answer any question. Even my not so PT question about why there is a page long instruction hung in the bathroom concerning hand washing. The answer had something to do with the perennial fear - a la ocean curses - about noro virus. That made me try the unintended physical exercise of entering the pool, flat out in my slippy socks without touching any rail.. Water Works will help cure you. I'm here to testify!
