R&M Performance is hands down the best shop in Illinois…read more Honesty, integrity, and transparency are what I value most in the people I do business with--and Rei and Mark truly embody all of these qualities. From the beginning, Rei set the tone by reviewing my project thoroughly, being upfront about costs, and even asking follow-up questions to make sure his team could deliver the work at the highest standard. That professionalism was my first green flag. Mark handled the work on my car and went above and beyond my request. I asked for before-and-after photos to help me track carbon buildup for future maintenance, and not only did he deliver, he provided even more detail than expected. The results spoke for themselves: No more idling during cold starts, City MPG improved from 24-26 to 30-32, when I first bought the car off the showroom floor I was so impressed with the quality and transparency that I immediately scheduled additional maintenance and performance upgrades. It's worth noting that I drive from Libertyville to Palatine--often during rush hour--because the service, professionalism, and results at R&M Performance are far beyond anything else I've experienced. The distance and traffic are never a concern when I know my car is in such capable hands. The service was so good, I even brought in my wife's car. That alone should tell you everything. If you are looking for quality, professionalism, honesty, and reliability, I HIGHLY recommend R&M Performance.

Jiffy lube told me to take my car to a tire shop. Anyways Dakota informed me that it could be the sensor, tire slowly losing pressure and talked to me in detail about how to proceed as my car is 12 years old. They also told me how I can save money & the costs of replacing the sensor, labor & were sooooo kind!! I asked if they could help drill my side bumper as well which they said they could do. These are consummate professionals here at Advanced VTech…read more I seriously don't think there's anything they can't handle. They took what was the tired 13-year-old Fiat coupe with 69,000 miles on it. And they basically turned it into a new vehicle that has 2500 miles on the tires up restoration. Consumables were replaced, marginal items were replaced, new rubber and tuning the engine and the drivetrain. And because they did such a fantastic job it made sense for us to continue forward we had the interior redone and a European retrofitted screen that's actually built for the Fiat 500s. Wouldn't have done that if the work didn't turn out as good as it did. Just took it in the other week for an annual physical. One of the senior guys drove my car in to the facility and he said "she's got something knocking under there". (Nothing I ever heard but guess what? he hit it right on the head. And even that was under the warranty for the work that they had done. I would also add if it wasn't covered the price that was going to appear on the invoice was minuscule for parts and labor no arguments! The hell with comfort I'm driving it out to California to see my daughter this year! I believe the $$$ tab came just slightly over the Blue book value of the car. I couldn't be more thrilled.
