Trying to get an MRI scheduled was a nightmare. Has we come here first it would have all been done at the same location. Is i didn't have the personal recommendation I'm not sure I would have come here based on the reviews and personally I'm shocked at how low the rating is. Severe pain in morning and lots of discomfort all day long. Saw Dr. Joshua Faley today. His assistant Derrick showed me to room, took history and a couple of images. Dr. Faley was next. Listened to my issues before explaining his theory. Tenderness and pain due to inflammation in tendons. Fasciitis. Try a shot and some exercises. From the phone call to reception to staff and Dr. Faley and to check this was a flawless visit. ALL staff were polite, courteous, friendly, and smiling. I have to believe that this is not dumb luck. It had an odd smell that was very musty or moldy, so if you are sensitive, might want to steer clear. The entrance to the suite is confusing because there are two offices sharing the same suite. Since I can't see that far away, I struggled to see where I was supposed to check in. I don't think that my poor vision was the only cause for confusion, because I saw multiple people come in confused during my ONE-HOUR wait. I thought about leaving due to length of wait coupled with the loud TV tuned in to some ridiculous morning show that was discussing whether addition to porn needed to go into the DSM manual (diagnosis manual for mental diseases.) The waiting room was painful from the TV alone, but the three people that smelled like an ash tray sure didn't improve things. It's so small in there, and I tried to sit as far away as possible, but it didn't help. I'd definitely suggest going to the Dearborn location as it's a bit bigger, but the TV is still quite annoying. The doctor that I went to see was nice enough, seemed to get defensive when I started asking questions. He acted like he was welcoming my questions, but his tone made me feel otherwise. I had heard good things about this office of doctors because my friend that's a PA in orthopedic surgery told me about them. However, the fact that he was going to make me come back in for yet another appointment prior to surgery was unnecessary and a waste of my time. I have had (unfortunately) several orthopedic surgeries in my life and have never had so much office time prior to a surgery. Quite annoying, especially given that I had such a long wait. If it were a quick in-and-out appointment, maybe that wouldn't have annoyed me so much. In the end, I will likely not be using this office for my surgery.
