Then, two appointments showed up on my schedule that I never personally scheduled or agreed to -- and when I didn't show up, I was charged two $50 "no-show" fees. Just to be clear, this had happened previously with an appointment I missed legitimately, and I had no issue paying the fee. When I questioned it, the explanation was basically: once they put something on the schedule, it's considered confirmed unless you cancel, and reminder texts count as confirmation. I asked for proof that I actually scheduled those visits, but what I got back were policy copies and reminder screenshots with nothing showing that I ever agreed to those dates. They refused to waive the fees. So my takeaway for future patients: watch your schedule closely and get clear confirmation of what you've actually agreed to, because Brostrom WILL do whatever they can to extort you for those fees. And if you have a problem with it, they will let you know by sending you to collections over the no-show fee.

They have been incredibly accommodating for me, I am not cured by any means but this journey over the last month has given me more range of motion and a little less pain. When I started, most of my days were 8-9/10 pain and now I'm 7/10 which just feels more manageable. God willing I will continue to improve between the PT and nerve ablations from my pain doc.

I arrived at the office at 11:15 filled out the application and sat in the waiting room as I saw two people ahead of me by the time these two people went in and came out. It was already 12 o'clock, so I waited unnecessarily a half an hour will Faye came out she asked me who I was and I told her William wilson she went back into the office. She came back out and she said Mr. wilson your interview wasn't until 130 and I replied to her no when you called me this morning you told me it was at 11:30 then she proceeded to become argumentative with me stating that I misunderstood her phone call and I told her I said I'm not coming back since I am already here let's go into the interview well with the horse and puff she led me back into the interview room and proceeded to chastise me for my anger. She stated that how would you handle this if you had to deal with a client and I precisely told her because of my military experience and my job experience I am precise on time and if I had to pick up a client at 11 in the morning, I would get to their home or residence at 10:45 to give myself leeway time to make a smooth transition with that client back to the building well after I explained to her my professional side she calmed down, but from that point until the end of the interview, I explained to her my 10 years experience in transportation driving my one tour of military experience, my college background which includes three college degree, beginning with a bachelors degree and human services to an associate degree in radio broadcasting and communication communications. Well upon telling her this she horridly ended the interview with no indication of the decision whether to hire me or to disregard my presence, so I took it to meaning that because an educated person of color chastise her on her rudeness, she reverted back to the inner racism that I feel from a person from the Third World nation because I have lived in areas such a Dearborn and Dearborn Heights to where people of a Arabic background tend to look down on African-American people, so I am here to tell you if you have applied to this company for a position of transportation do not I repeat do not proceed because you will be treated like you are nothing, especially if you are of African-American descent because this lady should be reprimanded for her attitude, her professionalism and her disregard of someone's respect because I honestly feel that if I had of been a Caucasian person or a person of Arabic descent, I probably would've been considered for employment, but because I came into that facility, dressed for success, a shirt and a tie, no hat no grooming needed. I was dismissed, but I should've known this by looking at the driver that they had waiting to pick up. He was totally groomed himself so if you could send a person that is groom out to pick up your clients then I see why you don't wanna hire anyone of intelligence or proper grooming technique

Instead, I found a 'PT factory' environment where the therapist was juggling 5 to 10 other patients at the exact same time. For three weeks, I was never given the individualized manual attention my condition requires. I spent most of my time performing generic exercises while the therapist rotated through a crowded room. This 'gym' approach is inadequate for patients with specific, high-priority recovery needs. I have since moved my care to a provider that offers private, one-on-one sessions with a true specialist. If you need dedicated, hands-on therapy, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This facility seems more focused on patient volume than patient outcomes."

I previously complimented the staff at Beaumont Physical Therapy, Warren before we knew that the…read moredamage in my shoulder was way more involved than just a rotator cuff tear. Assuming that it was just rotator cuff (pre-MRI), their staff was great and I regained most of my range of motion. When it didn`t continue to improve, an MRI was ordered and I had a fairly major surgery, disconnecting the biceps tendon and repairing the rotator cuff. Though my surgeon worked out of Henry Ford, I chose to return to Beaumont PT and they did not disappoint; in fact, I couldn`t be happier with the results! Recovery was projected to be six months. I started PT approximately a month post-op, and two months of PT later, I have regained FULL range of motion. I can do MANY things that I was unable to before the surgery! I still have home work on a daily basis, and there`s some (slight but expected) discomfort at times, but I never thought that I`d have healed this much, this soon. My surgeon was also very impressed with the progress I made, thanks for my care at Beaumont Physical Therapy. A heartfelt thanks to Gillian and Sean who provided my care. They are not only great therapists; they are genuinely concerned with the patient`s well being. As an added bonus, they are both wonderful people, who make the process fun! I didn`t look forward to PT, but I always looked forward to seeing them. Kudos to them, Stephanie who assisted, and the rest of the Beaumont PT staff. You rock!!

I thought both were helpful in alleviating my pain. They also helped me do exercises that were appropriate for my mobility, strength and pain level. 100% recommend them. Dr. Janu and Dr. Eric. The issues I've had here are with the staff. After coming in for my first appointment I was told that Dan would call to schedule my next appointments. I didn't hear from him. I finally called and was told that he was waiting for a script from my doctor and authorization from my insurance. I told him I had a script and we went round and round on the next step. I finally called my doctor and had them fax it over to them. Then I waited some more. It turns out my insurance now required authorization to continue. I called them and found out they had authorized it so I called back again to let them know. I finally was able to schedule my next appointment but 2 weeks had gone by. They also had a staff shortage going on so even though I was authorized there were no appointments available all week. My insurance only authorized it a limited time frame. Then I went on a planned vacation so I lost another week. My next appointment was with a young woman who did not seem to understand my issue - she had me do exercises that were really painful and did not help. The next few days I was in so much pain I could hardly move and had to add a knee brace which wasn't even an area that hurt before. I finally went back in and saw Dr. Janu and told him what had happened. He did a great job with appropriate stretching and exercises. The bad news? MY TIME WAS NOW UP with my insurance approval. LOL So they have to re-request additional time to continue. I don't really trust their front office staff to do it in a timely manner - so I doubt I'll get back in before the end of the year.

Dr. Swift quickly evaluated the issues and let me know I would have to have surgery because I had a torn meniscus. After MRI and X-ray it was confirmed. Dr Swift preformed surgery on me with in the week. After surgery I met with Dr. Swift again and he spent time with me to help me understand my recovery. He was very attentive to my needs and questions. My recovery and experience has been great. I try to send everyone I know to Dr. Swift.
