I strongly recommend Dr Jeffery Michaelson of The Core Institute in Novi, who is honest, said he wouldn't operate because what I needed was beyond his abilities (and referred me to two trauma clinics. I can't imagine that happening at Mendelsson Kornblum.

Recovery took 6-8 weeks as expected but has been pain free since. During his recovery, I started experiencing hip pain. I learned is had a deteriorated SI (sacroiliac) joint. I treated it with steroid injections every 90 days for a year and a half which helped but never quite got me out of pain. We went back to Dr. Khalil and he was able to schedule me for a bilateral SI fusion where they bolt the two joint together from each side to avoid the unnecessary movement in the joint. Although fairly noninvasive, I was back to work in two weeks and now my pain is also 100% gone!!! Dr. Khalil is literally the best surgeon!!! We were both scared making surgery decisions and our only regret now is that we didn't do it sooner. His PA's are also amazing and helped with all our questions and help explain things in normal terms. If you are in pain, we would highly recommend him or at least consider him for a second opinion. He is not one to rush you into surgery which is hard to find these days but definitely the surgeon you want when the time comes!

It had an odd smell that was very musty or moldy, so if you are sensitive, might want to steer clear. The entrance to the suite is confusing because there are two offices sharing the same suite. Since I can't see that far away, I struggled to see where I was supposed to check in. I don't think that my poor vision was the only cause for confusion, because I saw multiple people come in confused during my ONE-HOUR wait. I thought about leaving due to length of wait coupled with the loud TV tuned in to some ridiculous morning show that was discussing whether addition to porn needed to go into the DSM manual (diagnosis manual for mental diseases.) The waiting room was painful from the TV alone, but the three people that smelled like an ash tray sure didn't improve things. It's so small in there, and I tried to sit as far away as possible, but it didn't help. I'd definitely suggest going to the Dearborn location as it's a bit bigger, but the TV is still quite annoying. The doctor that I went to see was nice enough, seemed to get defensive when I started asking questions. He acted like he was welcoming my questions, but his tone made me feel otherwise. I had heard good things about this office of doctors because my friend that's a PA in orthopedic surgery told me about them. However, the fact that he was going to make me come back in for yet another appointment prior to surgery was unnecessary and a waste of my time. I have had (unfortunately) several orthopedic surgeries in my life and have never had so much office time prior to a surgery. Quite annoying, especially given that I had such a long wait. If it were a quick in-and-out appointment, maybe that wouldn't have annoyed me so much. In the end, I will likely not be using this office for my surgery.

I've now been a patient at All-Pro Physical Therapy for two separate injuries. This place is amazing and everyone working there is considered family to me. My first visit in 2015 was due to a pinched nerve in my back. Throughout my sessions, I worked with two therapists (John and Rico). Both were amazing! They were knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. Rico is quite funny (jokester)! After 2 months of 3 days a week therapy, my back improved tremendously. It's been over a year now and I barely ever have back pain...if I do, Yoga does the trick My second visit in Oct 2016 was for severe ankle pain (both ankles). Went to two foot specialist and 2 two orthopedics and 3 out of 4 suggested surgery was the only option. The 4th recommended therapy. So of course I decided to go to All-Pro since my last experience with my back was successful. This time I had a new therapist (David Clisch) who lucky specializes in Ankle/feet. He actually started there in 2016 so I was extremely happy to meet him. My ankle pain was more chronic than anything else, from sports injuries and twisting my ankles. I just completed my 3 months of 2-3 days a week therapy with David. First of all, he's an amazing therapist and an even better person. My ankle pain was 8 left foot and 6 right foot. I'm now at 2 left foot and 0 right foot. I'm so happy I decided to go the PT route and not surgery. 1. Knowledgeable and extremely friendly helpful staff (including the extremely wonderful receptionist Karen) 2. Always run on time & willing to move appointments to fit your schedule 3. As soon as I walked in All-Pro Physical Therapy I was greeted at the front desk by Leslie's friendly smile and willingness to assist. Having been left without the full range of motion of my arms after surgery, I was quite restricted in my daily activities and had much pain. Tracy, my therapist assessed my condition, taking measurements and writing notes. She knew exactly what I needed and we got to work that very first day! I was amazed at the progress I was making! All along the way she would ask if I was having any difficulties. Whenever I told her of my limitations she worked out a plan and to target them. I am simply amazed at what she was able to do for me which will make the rest of my life so much better! She even send home some of the same equipment they use there so I could continue to workout at home! She supplied me with pages of diagrams showing me the moves I should be making and even drew up a few of her own, which were so helpful to me. All the therapist are very professional, knowledgeable, skilled and super friendly. Everyone there was very encouraging even though they were not my therapist. It's just a wonderful atmosphere to be in while working toward to a full recovery. Everyone gets a private room and can workout in the large open area as well. They have it all! I recently completed several weeks (three sessions) of therapy here. I had issues with my lower back, leg pain and some pain when sitting for long periods of time. David worked with me most of the time--he was great. He was patient with me in explaining the exercises and also demonstrating them to me. I also had Katie a couple of times and had the same experience with her. You also receive printed copies of the exercises and you can go on-line and see a short video demonstrating them--very helpful. The facility is very nice and clean. There are small private rooms for personal attention (doors kept open) and where you get heat and/or ice and electrode therapy when you finish exercising. Two other staff members who were very nice to work with were Eve and Karen. This facility was recommended to me by my family physician, Dr. Joseph Beaman. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of physical therapy. I am thrilled to say I feel great! I absolutely loved going to therapy, never thought I would say that! All PRO Physical Therapy gets my vote for a Great Place to get your physical ailments treated, while on the road to recovery. Dave, my assigned Physical Therapist, was friendly but kept me on task in introducing new exercises or helping me, by correcting me on exercises I was doing wrong. Dr. Katie (DPT) did periodic tests to check the progression of my knee ailment and made sure we followed my doctors prescription. She didn't hesitate in stepping in with specific treatment, when I had a reocurance of my major pain, while at therapy. Karen, the Receptionist, was always happy to help with scheduling or insurance questions. And Eve always made sure my assigned Therapy room or the General Area exercise equipment was sanitized for my use, or the heat / ice packs were at the proper temperature. Even small interactions with the office manager, the other Therapists or other patients, made it a pleasant experience, under the circumstances. You might come to All PRO of Livonia, in pain, but you will leave with a Pleasant Experience on the road to recovery. I Did. read more

I've worked with one of the best Physical Therapists in the past, Michelle Krings. After having a lumbar fusion, I suffered from a spinal cord injury, now I was the patient instead of a therapist. Luckily, I found Michelle Krings at All-Pro physical therapy. Michelle is a very hands-on dynamic and very experienced therapist! she knew exactly how to help me. It was the hardest thing I've ever done but I couldn't of done it without her. At All-Pro physical therapy I also found a clinic full of exceptional staff. They were always motivating me and celebrating all my little improvements along the way. The team at All-Pro was great! I had ACL reconstruction surgery on my knee in late December 2016 and was at P.T. the next day. After a month of 3x per week we went to 2x per week and by early February I was once a week and by early March I was discharged. And yes there were lots of home exercises! From the very first day Karen at the reception was always helpful. Raj the owner was very knowledgeable and David who was my primary therapist pushed me to my limits. Don't let the young look fool you. I asked lots of questions and David knew the answers. And when David was out Anna and Raj stepped in and never missed a beat! It's not magic you STILL have to do the work and commit to get results and if you do, these guys and gals will show you the way! I started jogging after 11 weeks and my surgeon Dr. Michaelson says I'll be ready for spring softball and golf in April/May. I feel I already am but I'll wait! Thanks All-Pro! I have had a pinched nerve between my L5,L4, and S1 in my back for over a year. I have tried everything. They have me doing traction and it is the only thing that has helped me. I feel great every time I walk out of there and my condition is greatly improving. They have also helped with building my core strengh to help this from happening in the future. I had such an amazing experience at All-Pro Physical Therapy! The owner Raj is very personable and invested in the clients and his staff. The staff is educated, friendly and wonderful! My Physical Therapist knew I wanted nothing more than to get back to kickboxing so as I was nearing "graduation day" he practiced kickboxing moves with me to make sure I felt okay. Totally unconventional, I'm sure, but talk about catering to a clients needs and goals! I had my doubts that physical therapy would help me because my knee is bone on bone. Katie, my therapist, explained the goal of treatment....to strengthen my muscles to lessen the burden on my knee. I was experiencing really bad neck and shoulder pain after a car accident and was hesitant to try physical therapy in fear that it would get worse... I started going twice a week for about three months seeing both Robby and Rico that helped A LOT. There was always new exercises to try during the session as well as at home. I typically ended the sessions doing a heat therapy that helped reduce aches/pain. The staff at All Pro was extremely welcoming and helpful each session and the facility it's self was very clean and not overly crowded. After having a hip-revision at Beaumont-Royal Oak I sought out a physical therapy location close to home and found All-Pro PT in Livonia. I started working with Dr. Stephanie Dackiw. She designed a program on my first visit and provided me with a printout of all exercises for my days between appointments. As Dr. Dackiw started my PT, but was transitioning to a new position at another location. I also worked with Rico and Rob to finish up my appointments. All great PT's. My doctor recommended All-Pro Physical Therapy to me more than 10 years ago after I had a very bad experience with another PT facility. I have been coming to All-Pro off and on since then for different ailments and have had great success with recovery. My most recent visits were for recovery from a revision of a knee replacement. My therapist Rico was wonderful. With his expert care and guidance my range of motion increased to 120 degrees. My strength and balance improved 100 percent. My experience at All-Pro was outstanding. I primarily worked with Steve but others at different times. Steve always made me feel comfortable with anything he asked me to do. He constantly watched to make sure all of the exercises he was recommending were done correctly and that they did not cause me more pain. If they did cause any discomfort he immediately adjusted the exercises. I went there with constant severe neck pain. All-Pro gave me a handful of simple exercises I could easier do at home or even while traveling to help keep my lower back pain-free. I went from barely unable to walk to walking daily, bike riding and hiking - and all pain-free! This is the first time I've had physical therapy so I had no clue what to expect. I had shoulder issues and didn't think it would help much. I was wrong! Robby helped me through the process every visit and kept things new so I could take home exercises and stretches. I left feeling so much better and more confident. After returning to the tri-county after living out of state for 15 years, I had to get new medical connections. My new orthopedic physician referred me to All-Pro. I have been in and out of treatment for the past 6 yrs. for lower back pain, bursitis, arthritis, and spinal stenosis. Its be 2 years since my last treatment. The staff is great! All Pro Physical Therapy is the Best! I was diagnosed with a rare auto immune disease last April that affected my spine and nervous system. They were the best! They handled my complicated insurance/referral situations and took the burden off of me. I've used them for both my disc injury with my back and a torn rotator cuff injury. The difference between when I began and completed therapy was amazing. They even gave me an at home exercise program for the days between appointments so that I did not regress due to the allotted number of insurance appointment restrictions. HAVE ZERO RESPECT, CARE, or PROFESSIONALISM. if I could I'd warn every patient walking into their facility that to not waste their precious time with these two QUACKS. extremely mean and disrespectful to women. also the staff isn't educated whatsoever and are constant mistakes with dates and times. NEVER EVER EVER GOING BACK.

I've been going to this clinic for over six years now and every experience I've had has been just outstanding. There is no one else I would trust with moving my family's bones. As someone who is hyper mobile it's really important to have someone with a holistic approach, Someone who knows what they are doing completely, and that person is Dr. Zach Simpkins. Going to the chiropractor is always fun when you go see Zach. He uses a combination approach so you get exercises along with your adjustment to strengthen your body in weak areas. I highly recommend him, but everyone does so it's probably gonna be hard to get an appointment. He recently hired another chiropractor to work with him (Dr. Tyler Beck), and I would trust his judgment.

I went to Brostrom Physical Therapy and ran into a frustrating billing issue. Every appointment I'd…read morehad was always scheduled one-by-one. Then, two appointments showed up on my schedule that I never personally scheduled or agreed to -- and when I didn't show up, I was charged two $50 "no-show" fees. Just to be clear, this had happened previously with an appointment I missed legitimately, and I had no issue paying the fee. When I questioned it, the explanation was basically: once they put something on the schedule, it's considered confirmed unless you cancel, and reminder texts count as confirmation. I asked for proof that I actually scheduled those visits, but what I got back were policy copies and reminder screenshots with nothing showing that I ever agreed to those dates. They refused to waive the fees. So my takeaway for future patients: watch your schedule closely and get clear confirmation of what you've actually agreed to, because Brostrom WILL do whatever they can to extort you for those fees. And if you have a problem with it, they will let you know by sending you to collections over the no-show fee.
