We had some bad weather and he stated that they needed until Wednesday to complete the job. I paid him $40 for diagnostics and then $150 for the tow. Then sent $550 for parts. I also got a rental for 5 days through budget rent a car which cost me 500$ Wednesday came and it wasn't done. He said it would be done Thursday. I got the rental another day. Another $68 and $15 extension fee. Friday came and he said it's still not done. So after a week I have paid over 1k and it's not done. He promised it would be done the following Tuesday by 8pm. I returned rental that morning. At 9pm when he didn't show up he texted that he was done but there was still an oil leak. WHAT!!!!! He said he had parts and needed until Monday. Monday morning I asked him if it was going to be completed as promised and he said no. He needed til Wednesday. So 13 days he has had my car and it's in the same condition. I just had enough and sent a tow truck to their shop to get my car. When tow truck arrived it was at someone's house. They told me it was a mechanic shop. It's a random house on a sketchy neighborhood and my car sitting in front untouched with snow covering it still. He misled me as he had a shop. He just paid google bc he was the first to pop up. I trusted him and he lied several times. I am now at a mechanic shop hats legit and have had to get ANOTHER rental car for the week. This guy has lied and set me back almost 1500 and my car is in the same condition as it was 13 days ago. Do not trust him

Our cars run so well (one of them is going on 19 years in 2026! Crazy!), and I know the whole staff at Centerville is always looking out for our family and not upselling every five seconds. And honestly, the turn around has always blown my mind at CSC. This parking lot is ALWAYS full, and our cars are ALWAYS ready on time (We call ahead for appointments. I recommend doing the same).

While I'd love to make the trip back to Wayne's in CLE, I just didn't have the time so I made several phone calls to local area places. CK Family Car Care provided with a "loose" estimate and asked if I could bring the car in that day for them to take a quick peak before a final estimate. As they were close by and I had the time, I drove it over. CK FCC provided me with a very reasonable and comparable price to my home mechanic. They offered to do the job that day. They also stated my brakes were fine and not needed at that time. Thank you for being HONEST! I called my sister to see if she could come and get me and the guy at the desk said if they couldn't they could run me home and come get me when the car was done. I was surprised and appreciated the offer. The customer waiting room is bright and clean with coffee and a TV. They completed the work same day and when I came to pick up the car they took me into the shop to show me the old parts and how the fixed it. I appreciated this touch too. I will definitely be back for future car repairs.

Especially when the whole purpose is to see your newborn granddaughter, but you got to find a place open on Sunday morning close to the hotel to get things looked at first so that you can make the trip home that evening. Not a good start to the day. I figured an early oil change would at least get a mechanic under the hood; then maybe I would get an idea of what I was facing. Thankfully, I came across this Firestone on Google and Chris took care of my ride. They had a $10 online discount advertised on Google/Yelp for an oil change, but I had a problem pulling it up at the desk. The guy there said not to worry and rang it up anyway. In the back, Chris was able to diagnose what the problem was. True, the fix was going to be a lot more than they could manage on a Sunday morning, but he got me informed and back on the road, and when I got home my usual car guy confirmed what Chris told me at the time. These guys are squared away. They treated me and my family well and they even let me go in the back to talk cars with the guys. I am very grateful for their help.
