I had a great experience here! I came in for a gel pedicure for the first time and they did a very nice job. My toes look great(French tip), and they give a lovely massage with hot stones and then wrap your feet with steamed towels. Felt amazing! read more

I felt compelled to leave a review after my visit today because of their service. It was a very relaxing experience, the massage chair was nice and during the pedicure they did a scrub/massage with hot stone and then a wrap with steamed towels. They also opened a pack of sterile instruments in front of me and that really made me feel at ease to know they take infection control seriously. The mani/pedi came out great and I would definitely recommend this spot over the other nail salons in the area. read more

Excellent place if you wear gel color and need pampering. 1.5 hours at this nail shop will have you feeling wonderful. A gel manicure and hot wax, paired with a gel pedicure, will have you floating on clouds. I usually get a shoulder massage - all the stress of the week fades away. May and Mai are both licensed nail technicians, so all of their processes and products are safe. Call and make a same-day appointment; they will do their best to accommodate you. read more

I found perfection nail on Yelp after reading numerous good reviews. Having just moved to the area I was in dire need of a new salon. After coming here 3 times, I have had positive experiences every time! I have seen Cindy for acrylic fills. She is extremely thorough and I realized places in the past I've gone to weren't! She pays attention to detail, especially with cuticles and shaping your nails the way you want. All my nails are even and the cuticles are perfectly shaped. She takes time to file and touch up your nails after adding the acrylic powder so your nails aren't clumpy at all. My sets with her have lasted me a month and could've gone more! She's amazing at applying the polish, even coats with no mistakes. She really takes the time to make sure my nails are 1000% to my liking. I alternate with long and short nails and this time around I asked her to cut them down short. Extremely professional as well. The salon itself is in a great location in Nob hill by Trader Joe's. It's always very clean and the chairs are comfy. There's an overwhelming amount of polishes to choose from as well! There's a restroom for customers, waters, and candies. My appointments have always been on time and typically last about an hour for a fill. For a standard fill (just polish and no designs or accents) I pay $45 + tip. Great price for the quality of service. So happy I found this place!! read more

I absolutely love the job they did on me!! From what I know the place has a new owner, and when I went today, the place was super clean, well managed, and the environment was really relaxing. Their color selection is really cute! I got gel 'funny bunny' and 'bubble bath' for my mani and a cute deep pink color for pedi. They also have a full waxing service, and I got my brows done. I went in for a gel pedicure. I booked the appointment through the link on their Google maps listing rather than on the website listed here on Yelp cuz it seemed to be more recently updated with the dates their closed. It was super easy and simple to book! Though they do take walk ins as well, which many customers did walk in at the time I was in the salon. It's a small storefront across from Trader Joe's, but very cute and cozy. After I was sat down in the massage chair, they asked if I wanted tea or water and got started on my pedicure. The gel pedicure includes a nice foot/leg scrub, the actual pedicure with the cuticle work and gel polish, hot stone massage, lotion massage, and hot towels. Overall, very good work and attention to detail and would come back again! The gel pedicure costed $50 which is fair for sf pricing. They take card but highly suggest paying tip in cash. read more

Writing to say that they are open! I went today for a pedicure and had the whole place to myself. Right when you enter you must use hand sanitizer, they take your temp and you have to sign a waiver. Everyone must wear masks and there are hard plastic barriers at each station. They also sat me nearest to the door which I appreciated for the air flow. I came to this place prior to Covid and wanted to support them now that they are back. If you feel comfortable doing so they are doing a great job keeping things safe and clean! In addition to these measures they do a great job and take their time when doing your nails. read more

I was very disappointed with my daughter's nail's I will no longer come back here this was absolutely not okay. They made my daughter nail's look ugly and didn't even put it in to consideration how it look just because she was young doesn't mean you can do whatever you want . I would not recommend you go to the older lady she did not now what she was doing when she looked at the style she looked nervous to do my daughter nails if she didn't know how to do it she shouldn't have done them. just to let you guys all know I payed $70 for these nail's and the work dose not add up. read more

I don't get my nails done at all. My last experience was over a decade ago for high school senior prom and I was traumatized with my one of my cuticles bleeding. Ever since then, I've been avoiding nail salons. However, I came here to get my nails done for my wedding and my friend referred this place to me. She said its the best one she's been to around her area. Booking appointment was pretty easy via phone - I called in a week or so before and got an appt for a Wednesday afternoon for gel French manicure and regular pedicure. It was pretty empty when I arrived, just one other girl getting her nails done and two staff members. I was seated right away and the worker got to work. The area is pretty clean with comfortable chairs. I told the worker my cuticles are sensitive and she understood. She took great care of my cuticles and nails, I didn't feel any pain. It came with a little massage, she dipped my feet in a bag with some hot red/pink liquid, and all that. For the gel manicure, I asked for an ombre but she wasn't able to do it, I settled for a regular French tip with very light pink base and white tips. It turned out beautiful! The toe nails were done similarly in regular polish. The gel and nail polish lasted for quite some time. My finger nails looked great for nearly two weeks! 1.5 mths later and there's still some gel nail polish on my nails but I never got the chance to take them out. I still have nail polish on my toes - looks fine enough to not take them out. I paid about $70 for gel manicure and regular pedicure, pretty good price for quality work and it lasted a long time. read more

Cindy always does the best job! This is my favorite nail salon in Nob Hill (and I've tried them all - my work requires regular manicures so I bounced around a lot at first, trying to find the best place) and I come every two weeks for a gel manicure, plus sometimes a pedicure. The salon has been renovated over the last few years and is very calming and relaxing. They have new pedicure chairs and a wide selection of colors, in both gel and regular polish. Well it was one of those days where I am roaming around the city for visit. Just one of those days I want a pedicure that moment. So I went and got my coffee then I sat down and did a brief research on nearby nail shops. . This happened to fit my budget, and reviews were decent, I'm like let's try. . What really sold me was the basic pedicure comes with a paraffin wax, liners around the tub, and they take their sweet time. . Now onto the experience, I can say that they do take their time to clip and clean the toes. The leg massage were eh but they did at least spend about good 5 mins on each leg for a basic pedi. They didnt give me a neck and shoulder . I guess because I didnt do a mani and pedi together. . They did include a paraffin wax but it was too little portion. The wax inside the bag seemed like it didnt cover my whole foot, just the ball of my foot. Hmmm... I mean a little more wax or dont offer this free included service if so little wax is offered. What's the point. . The basic pedi cost 27 which was affordable in the city. It was a decent pedi to me, usually I get the better pedi in sac which is about 40 and comes with longer leg massage, rubbed with fruits, and good fruity sugar scrub scents. Guess I will just stick to a pedi in sac in the future. . In the end I left with a little relaxation in the city. Now I can say or mark that off my bucket list which is a pedicure in the city ;). Overall it's a 3.5 out of 5, for the experience. Thanks for reading and where do you reccomend for a pedi in the city? read more

I've always been super scared about getting a Brazilian despite my relatively high pain tolerance. I decided to bite the bullet by booking with Erin after a long day at work. In all honesty, she made the experience so much easier and relaxing even despite the pain and discomfort that comes from these waxes specifically. Upon walking in, she instantly greeted me and was super welcoming. I used the bathroom before my wax to calm my nerves and walked into such a pretty and pink glittery bathroom! Not gonna lie, it was a pretty good distraction lol. Like any person would, I was pretty nervous but I decided to go for it because of the results. It was so worth it. It does hurt, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Your first wax always hurts the most because obviously you don't know what to expect, but it does get better after the first strip. I have to say though, what really helped ease my nerves was how chill the whole environment was. The staff makes every client feel welcome, and in my case Erin was super friendly, thorough, and overall such a vibe. It made the entire experience feel a lot less intimidating. Really nice salon and my nails are always gorgeous but a few downsides here…read more 1. Every time I've made an appointment and shown up, 2-3 people will work on my nails in one session. They tend to switch off a ton and it's just kind of weird having to explain to many people what I want. 2. A refill for Gel-X has consistently been a 2.5+ hour long appointment. I think it's because of all of the switching off, there's so much repetitive filing. 3. I've never had a set of Gel-X last more than a few days without at least one falling off. I once left the salon and the thumb came clean off within 20 minutes and then I had to wait for almost 45 for them to glue it back on again. Another nail popped off within a day. I really wanted to like this place but can't come back, it's very inconsistent and honestly just a waste of money if I have to keep getting my nails redone before 2 weeks.

Two stars off for a pretty bad experience today but three stars for the owner, Jenny, her kindness…read moreand artistry. Jenny did a beautiful job on my daughter's nails in early July, gel-x. A very tasteful, custom design for an 11 y.o. They lasted almost 4 weeks but finally time to take them off. We made an appt for 2:30 today and due to Jenny not getting the message we had to wait about 30-40 minutes. Not the biggest deal, really nice out and our favorite boba spot just a few blocks down Polk St. When we got back the other woman in the shop started taking off the gels, they were taking a while to saturate enough to fully remove so the cotton with acetone and foil had to stay on longer. My daughter's fingers started burning and when we let them know, Jenny prompted the other woman to take a look. Not ready yet so while the owner was finishing up with another client this other woman needed to take care of it. At one point a customer had to ask this other woman to help my daughter, that she would kindly wait. It took over an hour to remove and clean up her nails, no manicure after. Two hours later my daughter's poor fingers are still burning. Jenny was quite apologetic and adjusted the price as a courtesy. We love Jenny but maybe she needs some more support in her shop.

I needed to get my nails done before Friday for my civil wedding and thought it would be easy to…read morefind a place close to work. I decided to give Blend nails a chance. I walked in and everyone seemed so nice, but it ended up being my worst nightmare. I am usually picky about my French being straight, but never had to be the complainer until today. I hated having to tell them that everything they were doing was wrong. My pedicure was $55 and the lady barely filed my nails and left a whole bunch of excess gel white polish on my skin. Close up is horrible. When it comes to my hands, the lady acted like she was about to do them great and she knew better than me and little does she know I know how to apply gel X as well and this was not it. She filed my nails too roughly, she applied a whole bunch of gel glue and gel polish leaving bumpy nails, dark nail beds, and extra white polish on my skin and she kept wanting to trim my skin to remove the white excess. I remained quiet until it was time to pay and I finally blew up once they told me they don't take Amex and that is all I had. I told them the sign on the door says Amex and even when I first came in they said they take "everything even Venmo". So here I am asking for the manager because my hands were $75 and I was not going to pay that amount for this awful job. Another lady comes and tells me she can fix them for me and to pay the full $135 total. I was very clear when I said I don't trust you to make them better. She offered for me to go back and have them fixed after work, and I expressed how much of an inconvenience that was since they were supposed to be done right the first time. I told her I would pay the $55 pedicure (THAT WAS NOT EVEN WORTH THAT AMOUNT) but I paid it and thank God for Venmo because I had to use it since they didn't take my card. If you like to have 1:1 service with attention to detail THIS PLACE IS NOT IT. I am for sure not getting married with these horrible nails. It's awful because they were so nice at first but can't definitely trust this place and I'm sorry to be this client today. They are having me feel like I am a freaking Karen when I'm never it and for sure am in the right. I am sorry blend salon but I am for surely never coming back. Pictures speak more than 1000 words, see them and tell me I'm crazy...

I went in on Wednesday of last week (5 days ago) to get my nails done before my sister's wedding…read more(which was on Saturday). I asked for gel X on my nails and just regular gel on my toes and initially I was actually really happy with the results-- the nails look really good. The problem is that within two days, i.e. Friday the day before my sister's wedding, my left hand, pinky nail fell off. When I say it fell off, I mean, I literally did not notice that it had come off until like I saw my finger. There was nothing I was doing that made it rip off or anything like that and I don't play with my nails. I don't bite my nails I'm actually really good about not picking at my nails. So I went back on Friday two days after I had come in and the same nail tech technician replaced my pinky nail. Fast forward to Saturday and I look down and my index finger on my left hand (I'm right handed btw) had fallen off in similar fashion meaning that I didn't even know it had fallen off until I looked down and saw my nails. I literally work behind a desk. I don't do yardwork. I don't do any type of manual labor that would make my nails prone to detaching and frankly I've had gel X done twice before on my nails, and I did not experience any of this. Since I was out of town, I plan to go back today, Monday to have them replace my index finger and literally before I even went to the salon I looked down and the middle finger on my left hand had also fallen off! The same woman who initially gave me the manicure replaced my pinky nail (the next day) for free... and when I came in to show her that these two other nails had fallen off she fixed both of them in like 10 minutes and I was actually going to tip her until she told me that it was going to cost me $10......... I would have to pay $10 for her inability to properly adhere these nails onto my fingers.... Literally, they weren't ripped off and in fact one of them fell off in my purse so I had the nail! lol This nail tech told me that i "need to stop picking my nails" which... UM WHAT??? not only was it an extremely offensive and annoying comment because I do NOT pick my nails and I will leave a picture of my nails with this review so that you guys can tell me if there are any signs of me picking my nails. I think you'll agree that I actually have really healthy nail beds/cuticles. There's no peeling or any signs of damage and to top it off I went there solely because it was near Zara where I was picking up my dress for the wedding and it wasn't actually convenient at all for me to go back there twice to get nails put back on and JUST TO REITERATE this all happened within FIVE DAYS (day 2, day 4, day 5) of them being applied to my fingernails. But this is what really upset me. After I adamantly denied picking my nails, the nail tech then tried to say that it had been two weeks since I'd first come (??!!?) implying that I was trying to like milk the system and get free nails put back on even though it's really obvious from my other 7 fingers that these have not been on my nails even 1 single week and they're supposed to last for two weeks. so I don't like to leave bad reviews, but this left the worst taste in my mouth. I paid the $10 but I will never go there again and I really was shocked that they had me pay for it considering I had already paid basically $55 to get them done in the first place and they didn't last more than a day until one started falling off and three days when the second one fell off and then five days when the third one fell off and then rather than owning the fact that clearly they don't know how to apply gel X correctly, they blamed me and made me pay for the inconvenience of needing these nails reapplied three times. BOOOOOO Giving 2 stars bc they looked good but the quality of the application and of the customer service was TERRIBLE. UPDATE: K JUST DOWNGRADED TO 1 STAR BC MY LEFT HAND INDEX AND PINKY AND RIGHT HAND THUMB FELL OFF TODAY (in the pics I put a bandaged around my thumb bc I had initially planned to super glue it back on until The other two fell off). It has not even been a full week since I got them done! Going today to demand a refund

They got me in right away, and I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. First off, I have to say, I'm *obsessed* with the owner. He caused a scene (classic ), but she handled it like an absolute champ. Total badass. We got to chatting, and turns out she's been running this place for years. She's seen FiDi and SoMa change a ton as a local business owner, and her stories were unfortunately a bit harrowing, but with no short supply of humor. Despite all the chatting and laughing, she gave me a flawless acrylic full set (yes, I was rocking the old school nails, sorry not sorry). I meant to write this review ages ago--this was back in June--but the fact that I'm still thinking about it says something!
