    UPS corporate, (not this store) lost one of our packages earlier this week, which had us scrambling…read moreas a company to configure hardware, and ship it next day air with early morning delivery to this UPS store 3440. I received a call this morning indicating that the packages were delivered before the store opened, but they store did not have the packages. I spoke with an associate at the store, Mike Sutton (no he is not kin to me), who said he would do everything possible to track down our packages. He called his support contacts and they started tracking down who made the actual delivery. While waiting on the call back, Mike took matters into his own hands and started going to each business on the shopping mall to ask if they received packages earlier in the morning. Because of Mike Sutton's determination and persistence, he found our packages that the UPS driver decided to hand to a random employee taking trash out to their dumpster. Not having this equipment today could of cost of thousands of dollars and lost business. It's because of Mike Sutton and the manager Tammy that we were able to get the equipment needed and complete our jobs today. Tammy, you are doing an amazing job as a manager, and you have one stellar employee by the name of Mike Sutton. Keep doing what you are doing. Your store is by far one of the best UPS stores I have done business with. We are doing work across the South and Northeast portions of America at 120 different locations, and I have had to ship equipment every week to UPS Stores. Again, your location has been the most pleasant to work with, and the staff actual cares for their customers. Thank you again. It was a breath of fresh air to actually work with people, who care for people.

    I normally come to this location from time to time. Anyway, tonight I had to do a review about this…read morelocation. So I walk in the store there were absolutely no customers. Go to the counter and I speak this little no good unprofessional employee. He never says a word. I pull up my scan code. I hand him my package. Then he hands me the receipt I say thank you again he says absolutely nothing. A damn MUTE! Really you're working with the public and that's how you treat customers. Does anyone want to do their jobs anymore. There's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't be greeting your customers when they walk in to your business. Hello, Have a great Evening it's that simple. Unprofessional at its finest. And the other employee was standing playing on his cell. So they get paid for what?? Smh

    Overcharged by over $200!!! After shipping a 19.4lb box…read more(24x24x16) with a $10k declared value which typically ships for $156.64 per UPS.com I was charged $371.61 by this store. Per UPS Store Customer Satisfaction, each UPS store can set their own price for insurance which is apparently much higher than standard UPS rates. Buyer beware! I called The UPS Store at 12220 Chattanooga Plaza, Midlothian, VA 23112 and they would charge $223.11, so still over $150 less than this store. All of this would have been fine except for the insistence (incorrectly) of the regular employee, the manager, and (supposedly the store owner via phone) all said "that is the same price you'll get at any UPS". Which is NOT ACCURATE AT ALL. The Manager was short with me and cut me off several times. No one was able to explain the dramatic difference in price. Only that they charge $4 for every $100 of declared value. Which adds up to more than my total ($10,000/$100*$4=$400 for insurance) but package was $329.75 for just the insurance per UPS Customer Service. So really THIS UPS Store charge $3.2975/$100 of insured value compared to ±$1.8125/$100 value at the Chattanooga Plaza location. Lastly, when I asked repeatedly for the store owner, I got more lip and was told to leave before the police were called. I didn't raise my voice. I didn't curse. I didn't use anything resembling foul language. But I was cut off and treated like I was trying to scam them or something. Well I certainly won't be using this UPS Store any time soon.     I've been visiting this UPS location on and off for over a year and never had an issue until today…read more This store has two doors, and from my repeated visits, it has always appeared that people line up based on the door they enter from. Today, when I walked in carrying two mid boxes, there was no visible line on my side, while there was a long line on the other side. To be clear: I was not trying to skip anyone. I was consciously and politely letting people from the other side go ahead of me, anyone who appeared to be there before me. I stepped aside intentionally and waited. Despite this, a woman standing in the other line made a sarcastic and humiliating comment toward me, which felt completely unnecessary and disrespectful. What bothered me most was that an employee nearby did not step in to clarify or stop the situation. Later, when I approached the counter before that lady intensionally as she made comment, the employee refused to serve me, saying I was "not following the line." If there is meant to be one single line for the entire store, that needs to be clearly communicated--especially when the layout strongly suggests otherwise and when no staff member corrected me earlier. What made this experience upsetting: * I was being polite and giving others priority, not cutting * A customer was allowed to make insulting remarks without intervention * The employee enforced the rule only after the situation escalated * No effort was made to clarify or handle the situation respectfully Policies are important, but clarity, fairness, and basic respect matter just as much. This could have been handled calmly and professionally instead of making a regular customer feel embarrassed and singled out. I hope management improves staff communication and ensures employees step in when situations like this arise.
