If you were one of the first to buy a package you were locked into that price from there on so I did. There were only so many available. I had them done and was pleased with the results. When I tried to book again several months later, the girl said she didn't know about it and would get back with me. I never heard back so then we were at a year so I called again. I was told they would need to find my file but they had moved so they would look. I called 2-3 times again over that next year but was put off and no one would book me. I never received a call from Dena either to verify the info. I wish I had saved the email from then. Unfortunately I think it was to draw business but since it grew she conveniently forgot about all the promises made.

My fingers cuticles are so sore - she clipped about 4 of my fingers too deep, which resulted in some bleeding and VERY sore cuticles. In my last review, I wrote about how their tools don't come in packets, but that there is a little note on their services paper saying their tools are all medically sanitized. I am really doubtful about that. Here is why: -I got a pedicure done and usually, I notice that salons place a plastic bag over the tub for sanitation purposes. She didn't do that here, so I assumed the tub may have been cleaned before I used it. It wasn't cleaned after my pedicure was done...so I'm assuming it wasn't cleaned before either. -The tools went straight in her little basket when she was done. I was hoping she'd set them on the side to be cleaned...nope. -The clipper she used in my pocket was wiped clean with her hands...and then placed in her pocket. I was also pretty dissatisfied and underwhelmed by my service today. The pedicure seemed very rushed and not as thorough as I'm used to, and the manicure was just plain rough. I'm really sad about this because I thought I found a decent place that does shellac manicures for really cheap. I can deal with the tech problem because I could just get another tech next time, but I'm not coming back until I see the whole sanitation issue sorted. I saw a bunch of little boxes with peoples name on them in the back (I'm assuming they are customers? There were WAY too many to be for employees) so maybe people bring their own tools for the techs to use? Who knows. I'd rather go to a place that practices proper sanitation.

The result was throbbing thumbs for two days and one of the nail tips was put on noticeably crooked. I told Eden I don't usually get a manicure, that I want something temporary. They wanted me to get a gel shellac (which I know is long lasting and wasn't what I wanted). Eden suckered me into getting a shellac some time ago, and I hated it. To get the nails removed, I had to come to the salon. I didn't like that they didn't tell me that information beforehand. I blamed myself for not asking questions but really, they should be forthcoming with that information. Armed with that knowledge, I was able to say No, just a regular tips will be fine. The manicurist was very rough on my hands. She filed at my nails in a very aggressive manner which resulted in my thumbs throbbing for the next two days. It was so bad I considered taking Advil before bed. In addition, I started getting a ragged edge the day after the manicure. All in all, it's your run of the mill nail place. Prices are comparable and the staff is difficult to understand, more so than in any other salon I've been to.
