I was not even feeling ice cream and this trailer totally caught my attention for a brief second, and then Andy gets my full attention with his hospitality. Everything sounded really good but I'm very conscious about my health and Andy pointed to their sugar free options. With 24 grams of protein for a half pint, I had to try it out. I got the sugar free vanilla and compared to other protein ice creams I've had, this is by far the best money for protein. It hit my sweet tooth in the best ways. When my girlfriend and I walked up to the shop we were warmly greeted by Caesar. He had a great attitude and went over everything he had to offer as well as recommended a couple of different flavors based off of what we told him we liked already. We ended up with the Black Forest Cake custard. It's a multilayer custard with a rich chocolate flavor and hints of cherry. The custard itself was super smooth and had chunks of both chocolate and cherries throughout, adding a different texture here and there. Overall, great service and great flavors! What a pleasant surprise! Been away from OC for a couple years now and was very excited to be back. Was severely disappointed in my dinner selection last night from a local spot I used to frequent and decided to look for some dessert to heal the soul. Andy's recommendation of southern banana pudding completely hit the spot and I'm absolutely excited to try their other flavors! It was extremely smooth and had a good amount of texture from the Nilla wafers. This place is located right by the AMC and opens really late. Glad I came by here instead of Joe's Italian ice. The hospitality was top notch and he definitely had some jokes. The air stream really caught my eye as well! Overall I think this place has a lot of potential and would love to see other flavors like something with peanut butter or mint. read more

I met a good friend at Market Broil to celebrate her and her birthday. What a surprise to walk by a trailer in the square selling frozen custard (Perfect Pint) - my daughter lives in St. Charles, MO and I must have Ted Drewes at every visit. Frozen custard is such a treat! I ate my soup and salad and we shared for almost 2 hours! When we left my friend I asked me if I was going to go get some custard and I said, "Of course, we cannot get frozen custard in southern CA!" I approached the trailer and the nicest gentleman, Andy began explaining immediately how this little woman from Palm Desert makes this frozen custard from scratch, and the traditional vanilla has real vanilla beans. I almost purchased vanilla as that is the flavor I usually get in MO. When Andy began describing all the special flavors they have my mouth began watering in anticipation of pure decadence! I could not make up my mind and as I had a few miles to travel before home, I could purchase only one pint. With his impeccable descriptions of my contenders, I chose Lemon, Blackberry Streusel and raced home with AC on full blast to preserve my treasure. Oh my -------It did make it home to Mission Viejo and I can tell you I will be back to Orange - City Block - just to purchase again! The frozen custard was velvety and smooth just as it is supposed to be - as someone else mentioned it was not too sweet, but the lemon flavor was deep and amazing! The top of the pint had a layer of the best tasting streusel ever! If you have never had the opportunity of enjoying frozen custard, head to the Block in Orange and indulge yourself in possibly one of the best deserts ever made! If you love gourmet homemade ice cream, this is the place to be! The worker Andy was really friendly and helpful describing all the great flavors they offer while telling us the story behind the business and the owners which was fascinating. We got the honey creme brulee which was great! It was super soft and had brulee sugar crystals. We also got the coconut sorbet which had caramelized pineapple chunks. It was amazing because it was vegan but tasted way better than a regular pina colada flavored ice cream. We will definitely be coming back here again and recommend you try it out as well! read more

He went into great detail about giving me options for chocolate flavored ice cream and I ended up going with the Nutella Smores. Never have I had such creamy ice cream and what I liked most was how all the flavors were natural tasting, nothing was artificial the honey crème brûlée was amazing and so was the raspberry pistachio, if I didn't eat it so fast I'd have a picture! Gabby, the one behind the flavor, makes all of it homemade and it's amazing how one makes something so delicious. I really loved the raspberry flavor and it would be awesome to have more like raspberry chocolate or more jam-incorporated ice cream. The service was 100% the best. Andy was so helpful in guiding us on what flavors to get, telling us popular ones and and what to expect, and it was great how he explained the process and everything about it. I visited Perfect Pint at Orange Outlets on Tuesday and really enjoyed my visit. The ice cream was soft, smooth, and rich. I had the triple chocolate raspberry ice cream. The raspberry syrup was delicious, however, I would like to see the syrup less thick next time, something smooth and blended with the ice cream. Andy helped me out on Tuesday and gave me a great breakdown of all the ice creams. He was very friendly and helpful! The signage they had really got my attention, and I think I they picked a good location to have the ice cream shop.
