    Rental chairs

I contacted Perfect Partys just 3 weeks before my wedding to rent chairs and linens for over 100 guests and they responded promptly and professionally. Everything was delivered and picked up right on time and I had no issues with the quality of the products. They were great with communication both via email and phone (they called the morning of my event to confirm they were on their way). Their pricing was unbeatable and they had delivered to my venue before so they knew where to go/what to expect. I had no issues working with them and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great deal!

Stay clear of this place! They are totally unorganized, rude and will make your special day way more stressful than it should be!

While the space is tight, The Wood Spoon does a great job of filling it with all the necessities. Not only do they sell every kitchen gadget on the market, they also have an amazing selection of aesthetic pieces. Including bowls, plates, glasses, or any decor you might need for the home. I visited during the holidays and the store was absolutely magical. They had a huge selection of festive goodies and ornaments, making it one of the best spots for picking up. a one-of-a-kind gift. I couldn't imagine a better place to snag a trinket for the hostess in your life. I ended up taking home a number of seasonings and sauces to enjoy over the holidays. I specifically loved the Yozu Bourbon rub!

Growing up, it was a store my grandma enjoyed, my mom enjoyed, and my sibling (an older sister) and I enjoyed. As a family favorite across multiple generations, our visits could get to be a bit lengthy - and were always fun. The workers were consistently kind, and the interior was warm, well laid out, and without dust. Offerings included festive items during the holidays. It is one of few stores in my life I have gone looking over every item on the shelves on multiple different occasions because we were taking so long in the store. My first time doing this I was uncertain of how to approach it, though I was certain that I did not need anything. Then, going through the items, I found a few items I wanted that I had entirely not anticipated. This happened a couple times until the store became a fixture in my memory of where to go to looking for specific items/kitchen item genres.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the wonderful staff. The store is a dream, everything is thoughtfully color-coordinated, making it a feast for the eyes. There's truly something for everyone, and it's the perfect one-stop shop for creating a thoughtful gift basket. I could have easily spent hours browsing the unique selection, but my husband was eager to get to our next destination. We were visiting from out of town the first time we stopped in, but now it is a go to spot, even if it's just to check out what they have put out recently! If you're in Seattle, this store is an absolute must-visit!

I looked at the sign and it said they were open but I didn't see anyone inside. There's a buzzer out the door and I went and pressed it. No one came so I pressed it one more time. At this point, I saw movement and was buzzed in. Once in, I felt the sales associate staring at me. It was only me and her and I felt quite awkward. I couldn't figure out if I had something on my face or my shirt was on backwards. Finally, the sales associate sternly says "you know, we can hear the buzzer from back there. You do not need to buzz us so many times." I was appalled. I had never been stared at or talked to so rudely. I kindly said "Oh! Sorry. I didn't see anyone inside so I wasn't sure if you could hear me." She didn't respond to that and thankfully another customer came in. I promptly left and will be taking my money elsewhere. It's a bummer as I used to be a loyal shopper and love to support small businesses. As a veteran of customer service, I understand how demanding said job can be, but it doesn't merit being rude to customers.

I…read moream one of those people who calls it Higo, before I will remember it is in fact Kobo now. Higo is the original shop owned and run by the Murakami family. This is one of the few businesses that survived the Executive Order 9066 written in 1942 with thanks to the non-Japanese friends of the family who owned businesses in the same building. Today, Kobo represents a new generation of local artists, selling gift items, crafts, tees, books, art, jewelry, and much more at varying level of prices. I highly recommend Kobo when shopping for unique gifts. When I recently visited, they had a glass artwork on display, art gallery style. It was also the yearly Nihonmachi celebration, and they had a table outside with an artist painting one of three designs on classic Japanese windchimes. I was thrilled to buy one of these adorable windchimes commonly featured in anime including Studio Ghibli movies. My mother picked up a really fun t-shirt from KOBO, and I found various gifts - including the Mari Ichimasu (a Seattle-based Japanese artist who works in stop-motion animation, painting, and drawing) book "Fur Coats & Backpacks", which includes the art of her collection of traveling cats & an accompanying poem for each cat. The perfect gift for my feline-loving friends. The staff were happy to let you browse through the store, and you can tell that they work to include items from the local art and design community while also carrying items with wider appeal. The prices may be a bit high? But I was less concerned with the cost of the items than I was on finding quality gifts - and KOBO has those in spades. I'd certainly recommend a visit.
