Delivery was a joke. Never asked where we wanted the tables and chairs. I come home and all the tables and chairs are at the bottom of a long driveway stacked in the middle. Not in front of the garage at the top of the hill where common sense would tell you. I call and ask the lady about it. She could care less and has a bad attitude. I look at the tables and they are all broken and busted around the edges. Looks like they have seen their share of parties!!!! And the white chairs are cracked and rusted.....wow don't let these idiots ruin your party like my wedding.. 0 stars....... read more

We ordered linens and chairs for my wedding 6 months in advance. The DAY BEFORE the wedding my father went to pick everything up and found out that the linens were not ready and we would not have them for the wedding. They never contacted us letting us know there was a problem. My caterer has worked with them before and received stained, unclean linens. They are not customer friendly or conscious what so ever. We asked for a refund and are currently jumping through hoops to get our money back. Not once have we received any sort of apology or explanation from the owner. read more

If I could give this business zero stars I would. DO NOT RENT from them! I rented a dance floor from them for my wedding. When they finally delivered the floor 5 hours late), it was missing the tools and proper screws to assemble it correctly and some of the pieces to the dance floor was bent. We were not able to put the metal siding around the dance floor to hold it together because some of the screws were incorrect and siding did not fit. Our floor was falling apart as people were dancing on it. Terrible! We ended up not using the siding at all which got left behind. They do not tell you what tools are needed before hand. In our case, we had a destination wedding and had to scramble for an Allen wrench. The owner didn't work with us at all and is not taking responsibility for not providing all information beforehand to assemble the dance floor properly which we later found out was faulty anyway. However when i called perfect party rentals for tables and chairs they had everything that was needed. The staff I worked with was friendly and helpful. As I was a little frazzled they were a calm in the storm. They reached out to me to confirm the order, the delivery, and worked with me on the pick up since it was a long weekend. I'm really dissipoonted In their customer service. My wedding ceremony was canceled and I called about a refund on my chair order. I finally made it through to someone, and they said call back and leave a message and they will look into getting me a refund. That they would contact me . Three days passed they didn't contact me. So I called and the lady said they were trying to see if I was able to receive a full or partial refund. It's been almost a week and they still haven't reached out to me as promised. I may or may not get my refund, but moral of this story is, their customer service is not great and I don't recomend them. read more

Everything was delivered and picked up right on time and I had no issues with the quality of the products. They were great with communication both via email and phone (they called the morning of my event to confirm they were on their way). Their pricing was unbeatable and they had delivered to my venue before so they knew where to go/what to expect. Had a bad experience with this Owner operated business. Rented a 15x15 tent that was suppose to butt up to our covered deck for a wedding. At the site meeting a month in advance Melissa told me it was "doable". Told her we were having a wedding on the deck and needed people to stay dry and warm. We talked about how cold and wet November can be in this area. She mentioned that their tent heats up pretty quickly. On the Monday before the event I talked to Melissa and told her I needed chairs, bistro tables and table cloths. She was very helpful and accommodating. Delivery day was a nightmare, the tent didn't butt up to our existing cover as expected there were big gaps allowing cold air in. Melissa was extremely demanding and defensive wanting my husband and I to make a decision on how they should set up the tent and repeating many times that they are not liable for any damages due to the tent being set up incorrectly. She would talk over my hubby and at one point stating he was rude. She continued to throw her tantrum slamming a 45 pound weight on our stairs and dragging one foot of the tent frame into the wood. After Melissa and her hubby left we noticed their were holes in the tent and it was dirty. The chairs were dirty and one was broken, the bistro tables were also dirty. I asked for table cloths for the bistro tables thinking she would give me the smallest ones since the tables are only twenty four inches wide and nine dollars each she gave me the biggest most expensive ones at fifteen dollars each which were huge with two feet of material dragging on the floor. So the night of my event the deck was so cold because of the gaps in the tent and inadequate heat that everyone stayed in the house. I tried to express my disappointment to Melissa when she picked up the tent. However she was defensive and blaming. In my opinion she was in a position to make my event perfect for me by using her knowledge and experience by telling me I need a propane heater, which they rent. And she did not! She made lots of excuses, saying she didn't know if we had heaters, or the time of our event and stating that we should know what we want and ask for it. Well Melissa it appears you care very little about your customers! So I will no longer be your customer and I will ensure that no one I know will either. read more

I rented tables and chairs for my wedding last year. Never had a problem with customer service, the woman on the phone was really nice. I never met the people that work there, I had my husband and best man pick them up and drop them off. The white padded chairs I paid extra for were flimsy, barely any padding. Some of my older guests including my grandparents left soon after the ceremony, complaining that the chairs were not comfortable. Worst experience with any type of business I have ever had!! If I could give a 0 star I would. The owner Melissa is a poor excuse for a "business owner" and we're in contact with BBB, however, it seems that based on the other reviews online that it won't do much good. When I shopped event rental companies for my wedding almost a year ago Perfect "Partys" was the company that provided me with the quickest call back (actually the only one that called me back). My satisfaction with their service ends there. Long story short(ish): scheduled rentals almost a year ago (200+ chairs, glasses, silverware, dry bar, tables, linens) and paid ~$600 (50%) to reserve the date. Was assured we could add delivery at a layer time or change our order any time, up until two weeks to our date. Added delivery and some additional items to our order in June and paid our remaining balance, including our delivery ($600+). The week prior to our wedding I called and spoke with someone who said they didn't have a delivery time set up for us and offered either a 10am-12pm, 1-3pm, or 3-5pm delivery slot. I accepted the earliest slot since our venue is not open after 5pm. On the phone I confirmed 10am-12pm multiple times. The day before the wedding, when delivery was supposed to take place, I called the shop at 12:05, after my expected delivery time slot was up to check where the delivery was. Becca answered and let me know they were "in Belfair and running a little late, but we were their next stop". Fine. At 1:00 I called the shop to get an update. Becca said she would have to call the delivery drivers and see where they were and call me right back. Ok. Twenty-five minutes later I called back since I still had not received a call back. A super rude guy answered and told me he'd "see if he could do anything" to check on my situation. At 1:50- almost two hours after my latest acceptable delivery time I received a call back from Becca stating that they had me scheduled for delivery in the 3pm-5pm time slot but I'd be their first stop in that time slot. I let her know we had the venue for setup only until 5pm, that they had made an error on delivery time, and that we needed to be their top priority, as we had a noon wedding the next day and no other time to set up. She said she understood. At 4:13 I finally called them AGAIN to see where the delivery was and they were "just packing up" to come deliver to us. Apparently after I don't know how many times of expressing my concern that we would be kicked out of the venue prior to them arriving, they still thought we would be ok to deliver to after five o'clock! They called me at 4:50 to say the truck had just left the shop and would be there shortly. It arrived at 5:07, after the venue employee was locking up and asking us to leave- causing us additional fees by being at the venue beyond our allotted time. They took their sweet time unloading their trashy vehicle of our items and cost us $100/hour for staying at the venue until 5:40. Thanks Melissa! When our delivery finally did show up, Melissa decided that instead of making her company's error better and waiving our delivery charge or cutting us a discount she would completely deny they'd ever made an error and inform me that I was in the wrong because I hadn't let them know how urgently we needed our delivery. Is there a way to give no stars???? What a horrible and unprofessional business! Melissa assured us she would handle our event. I gave her a 183.00 deposit in advance 10 months prior to our wedding. She seemed very accommodating. Oh was I wrong she continually did not return phone calls or emails. I was getting nervous since our event was closer, I did get in touch with her at one point and she said she was not doing business because of the covid shut down, (however other business were open and operating) she said would fulfill her obligation for our wedding even though for some reason she was closed. This never happened. When I was confirming with our other vendors, Melissa at perfect Partys never returned my repeated phone calls and ignored the voice messages I left I emailed her numerous times at perfectpartyspo@yahoo.com and even tried Facebook messaging. I was able to contact another vendor who happily accommodated our wedding . What a great way to add stress to me before our long planned wedding, and has now I feel stolen our money. I strongly recommend steering clear of this business. We reserved a bounce house for a party in early June and paid a $60 deposit. The house never showed up and no one at the company could tell me why. I tried half a dozen times to get my deposit back and finally filed a complaint with the BBB. As of today (mid August) the BBB has contacted the business four times trying to get them to respond to my complaint and they have not. I cannot get my deposit back. It's hard to believe anyone can stay in business operating this way. 30 days notice of rental for an outdoor wedding...perfect partys, mile hill, port orchard, was only one to reply they had 12 tables and 60 chairs. Put 1/2 down, day b4 event was called by Malissa and told we had to pay balance b4 delivery. 120 for delivery/pickup. Delivery person showed up with open air delivery trailer. Pulled tables out, face down on ground, walking all over them. Chairs were pulled out on their racks and left. When we turned tables over, rubber edging was pulling off many, the tops were chipped and slivered. We had to cut double plastic covers in order to use. The legs on 2 of the 12 tables didnt lock in place. 2 of the white padded chairs had bolts missing. Everything was so dirty it took a crew of 4 people 2 hours to scrub and clean. We should have been told these items were 'damaged' items and given a discount rental option. Now, it is 72 hours past the scheduled pick up, and still have not heard from them. We have struggled to keep the items covered with a tarp while waiting to hear from someone. $431.64 and we evidently aren't worthy of their communication since we were forced to pay before delivery. read more

I contacted Perfect Parties to rent 8 tables and 40 chairs for my mothers 90 birthday party. Three days before the party we were given the diagnosis that she had Colon Cancer. The very next day I called "Perfect" Parties to cancel the tables and chairs as she was going into surgery the next day and hospitalized 4 days after said surgery. I explained to Melissa that my mother was just diagnosed and was being immediately taken into surgery with a hospital stay to follow. She immediately started to tell me they would not give us a refund due to the late cancellation. I explained again we would not be cancelling if it had not been for her Cancer. I literally had to keep chasing this woman down to get my money back. Finally she conceded but was keeping $50 for cancellation. Mind you there was no signed contract or mention of any of their policies. I waited 2 weeks for the check that never came. Called her again and was told the had to rewrite the check and were sending it out. I waited another week and the check finally appeared short $80 not $50. So I had to call yet again to find out why she kept $80 and was told she had to rewrite the first check since I didn't receive it, so that cost me $30!!!! My husband and I rented plates and silverware for our wedding (July 2012). Their prices were one of the best I could find and they were the only local place that still had these items available just 2 months before our date. I also found some paper cake plates and napkins there, which saved me some time. The store is nothing special and some of their rental items look really outdated but they had the basic items I needed at a reasonable rate. They were also really flexible with their return timeframe. We picked the items up on a Friday, enjoyed our wedding and honeymoon, and were able to return the items on Sunday....all for a one day rental fee! read more

I'd highly suggest you stay clear of this business. Our family used them for a wedding this past weekend (rental of tents, tables/chairs, linens, dance floor) and the experience was quite poor. Issues: - They were 7 hours late. Their staff confirmed a 9am arrival time on Friday, and didn't show up until after 4pm, even after repeated calls during the day. They arrived right when we were starting our rehearsal, and rehearsal dinner, which was really frustrating. This led to significant stress for the bride and groom. - They didn't offer ANY concessions for their shortfalls (being late, forgetting items, etc). In fact they were quite rude about it. - Critical items were missing in their initial delivery. They were short linens and pieces of the dance floor. - Their rental gear is in poor condition. The large tent for covering our dining area had many small holes in it (thank goodness it didn't rain), and had a musty odor. The dance floor was missing over half of the screws that hold it together, and they don't even provide the tools to assemble it. In fact, we had to use duct tape to hold a few pieces together which was dangerous. - This is not a professional outfit. Even if the price seems good, consider the entire package before deciding to use Perfect Partys. read more

When they showed up they said they never gave us a delivery window and they had no clue what we were talking about. Even though the time had been set 3 days before, when they were late for the first window which was between 12-3 we called and they said they were running late and would arrive within the hour... They showed up at 6pm. Between the hours of 3pm and 6pm they ignored every call we tried to place. When they finally showed they we so rude, completely unprofessional and upon leaving our venue they burned out in the gravel in sped away. If they were delivering the day of the wedding ( we got LUCKY our venue let us in a day early to set up) I seriously don't know what we would have done. I've never written a review of anything before but my experience with "perfect" parties was so bad that I had to write to tell people to stay away from this business. They are terrible to deal with. We spent almost 2 thousand dollars with them on tents, tables, etc. and once they had our money they were rude, they got our order wrong, they didn't return emails or calls, and their equipment is in terrible shape. The tent was dirty, the tables gave us splinters and the dance floor was warped and almost impossible to bang together. Our event was on a Saturday night and they didn't pick up until Tuesday night. I am very disappointed with the (non) service from Perfect Partys in Port Orchard! One month before my wedding I paid to rent 100 napkins from them. 9 days before the pick-up date I had to cancel the order and called to inform, as well as requested the refund. I was told that to receive 100% refund I should have called 10 days before the pick-up date and not 9 days (I would like to know what action was taken during that 1 day, to make the Perfect Partys keep 50% of my payment. I'm sure none.) So I asked how long it would take for the payment to be submitted, and I was told within 7-8 days. Well, today is exactly 2.5 months and we have not yet received the money!! My husband called several times, and in one of those times he was told that we had not even paid!! I had to retrieve the transaction details and send to Perfect Partys for them to have as a reference for their accounting! I just called again today and I was told again that I cannot expect 100% payment, because of the company's regulation. Great, how about the regulation to refund the customer within 7-8 days?? Not sure where to start...worst customer service and business sense company that I have ever encountered. After reading the other horrible reviews, I decided to cancel my reservations through the email string that we had already been communicating on. "Suddenly", they were unresponsive to every email I sent and said that their internet was down. When I finally reached someone at the office they said they would cancel my reservation and return my deposit minus $50. I said that this fee is listed no where on your policy section of your website nor is it on the invoice you sent me over email stating that I had "up until 10 days prior to your delivery date to remove or adjust items with no penalty at all." I was fed up with the lack of response so I agreed to the lesser fee and they said the check (even though I paid with a credit card) should arrive in 7 -10 days. After the allotted time, I called to see where the check was and they said they had no record of the cancellation. At this point I contacted my credit card company and was able to dispute the charge - which took almost 50 days. A week before my wedding they called to get the remaining balance due!! Unbelievable, they have no idea how to run a business. I would stay far far away. read more
