Greeted by owner with, " you're early.... Find a seat". I asked a worker how to start the massage chair - her reply.. "don't know" sat about 10 more minutes then asked to same worker, " what is the password for wi-fi"? .... Same response... "don't know". And this time i asked, "can you find out"? Turns out that employee would be doing my pedicure. She acted disgusted to be working and greeting me by saying.... "You want basic? You wont be getting any massage". I've been getting pedicures for over 30 years.... I looked perplexed - she asked another co-worker who explained to her what she would be doing. I called prior to their expiration and was told there was a new owner, but our Gift Certificates would be honored, although we could not extend the expiration date. I booked a couples Manicure/Pedicure appointment prior to the expiration of the Gift Certificates. We arrived on time and I got service right away, but my wife had to wait half an hour for service, so that broke the 'couples' idea. I would have waited to start had I known it would be half an hour. Instead, I waited between my pedicure and manicure to let her catch up. When I was finished, while waiting for my wife to be finished, I went to pay. I was told then that we had to pay $5 each for the pedicures on the Gift Certificate, because the new owners raised the price. When I pointed out that nothing on the Gift Certificate said we would be subject to additional charges, or price increases, and that I was not told of the price increase when I called for the appointment, I was told we could either pay the extra $5 each, or they didn't have to honor the Gift Certificate. That information should have been delivered on the appointment phone call. Really...new owners are willing to lose customers over $5? Their choice, but we don't think it is a fair business practice, so they lost us. The half hour wait was inconvenient, but forgivable. read more

Sara Gibson does an Express Pedicure every five weeks, which vastly improved both the health and comfort of my feet. I have reached the age where my back won't allow me to properly care for nails, cuticle, and calluses. Actually, I never have had the knowledge to do the quality of care even close to the care Sara gives me! It is worth ever cent paid, and a lot more economical and fun compared to a podiatrist. About the shop: Even though I'm an old unglamorous guy, everyone makes me feel welcome and completely comfortable. The shop is really cute, tidy, and very clean. Always a wonderful experience! They did a redesign a few months ago and added 5 more chairs. Now they line both sides of the back of the main room. (Which is much better then the circle shape they were in before.) The deluxe pedicure includes 4 extras including scrubs and a cooling gel. They add hot towels over the cooling gel and it is so relaxing. It's $35 dollars for about a 30 minute half leg massage and your toes painted. Can't beat it!! And I did like the atmosphere. However the lady that did My Manicure seemed to be distracted and in a hurry. She answered the phone about 5 times and made a few calls too. Maybe the one managing it shouldn't do nails as well. The gel nails she did was okay but not great. When I had my Pedicure it was very nice! Ann did a good job.
