I am always able to get an appointment, and everyone of the people who work there do wonderful work on my toenails and feet. They warm people who are happy and personable. You will love this salon! I've been going for a couple of years now and never once had a nail break or crack. Thau is amazing, never forgets a face and name. I do acrylics, but I've done gels with Lauren, who also does a great job and Bic is fantastic as well. They are always busy, but fast and efficient. Make an appointment, but you might have to wait a few minutes, not because of staff, but because they are so busy that if one customer is late, it causes a snowball effect. I have gone here for years and I thought I should warn people before they go through what I have I have been very tolerant of the employees talking to each other laughing at each other's comments that they knew you didn't understand. that being said I know they hardly spoke to me even when I directly addressed them, and acted like they understood, but didn't really do what I asked for. A friend of mine from the Philippines went with me to get a pedicure. When we left she said the whole time we were in the salon they were trash talking about the customers. They called a heavy woman a pig and we're talking about her eating habits like she eats like a pig, she smells like a dirty pig, she is going to break the chair. Another woman was called a whore, she wore too much make up and perfume. They had something bad to say about almost all the customers. Dirty feet, bossy, rude, and stupid they used pig a lot. They said stupid white women don't take care of themselves and to just do whatever you want no matter what the customer says because they are stupid just hurry up and do the next cow. I was really upset to know that the whole time I was sitting in the salon that we were the victims of racism and hate from the employees. This made me angry to know that they felt this way and laughed at us. Future customers should ask them to speak English so we can understand them. They should be more than happy to include the customers in their comments I really believe we would get a kick out of being called names and told how stupid us white women are and what whores and pigs we are. I guess they have been getting away with it for so long they became comfortable continuing this appalling behavior I am not a racist, I am a strong advocate for all people being treated equally. She listens to what you want, she provides excellent COVID STEPS to ensure the safety of her customers, she is gentle, and a perfectionist. She always looks over her work before sending you off with a pleasant smile. They all wear masks and have a divider between you and the tech. The salon makes sure you have every comfort. I always see staff spraying down chairs and partitions. I love being able to go pamper myself and have beautiful nails too. I have never ever been so disrespected. I went in for a pedicure, which they elevated the price by $10 above what they said it would cost. About halfway into the time I was there, after the other patrons had left, two of the workers took their masks off. I gently ask the woman doing my nails to ask them to put their masks back on. One of the women workers started screaming at me. She said she had had a mask on for all day and that she didn't want to wear it. I stated that it was a matter of respect and an issue of health. She screamed at me more. She said I could just walk 6 feet away, as if that was going to control the transmission in a small salon with unregulated air quality control. And my feet were receiving a pedicure, so it's not as if I could get up and walk 6 feet away to have the pedicure finished. I asked her, why are you being so mean? Please stop yelling. And she yelled at me more. As I was leaving, I told the woman who had done my nails that it was sad that I wouldn't be able to come back due to the breach of health safety protocols. I would give them a two star only because of how friendly they are compared to other places I have been. They actually talk to you in English which is nice! I had an appointment at 10 they seemed very busy when I got there at 10 took him about 15 minutes to get me sitting down for my pedicure. My Mother's Day gift for my children was $80 to get a pedicure in a full set I figured it might go over a little bit but not much. After two hours I've been there I finally had my pedicure and my nails done. Gel polish on my toes and I asked for tips of sparkle for my nails. Because she had to draw on the tip she charge me I think five dollars a tip I don't know I wasn't really clear on the price. My total for the pedicure in the fall so it was $115. That is outrageous!
