Upon researching Gutter Pros came up as a highly recommended local company to work with to replace gutters. Mason walked us through his recommendations based on what he saw on our property and his extensive knowledge. He even made recommendations on other work we could do later with roofing. The gutters were installed quickly and have been working great as we've gotten quite a bit of rain recently. I highly recommend Gutter Pros for their quality products and services at very reasonable prices. I would definitely work with them again in the future.

Payment was straightforward and easy. The day of the install, Gutter pros showed up early to canvas the property. They worked efficiently and were able to accommodate moving my downspout to a different location. He was responsive to my concerns re my previous gutters (mismatched colors, undersized downspouts, clogging, leaking, and continual upkeep). The owner saw that I needed a solution to an area where there was only one downspout for two levels of my roof, and added another downspout (one for upper; one for lower) and routed one downspout in another direction, per my request not to flood out my lower lying neighbor as previous). He was responsive to helping me attach loose pieces of vinyl on my siding and he had his crew even caulking and painting some trim for no extra charge to make sure my house is waterproof. When they came out to install everything, there were 8 men in the crew and the owner, and they were in and out, in 3 hours, with zero mess left behind. They even took a magnetic roller over my yard to make sure no loose nails were left. His crew made sure everything I wanted had been completed before leaving. They even did extras that I had never seen before like adding aluminium guards in particular areas like around the chimney to make sure the water is directed off the house. All in all, I'm very impressed! They definitely go above and beyond and there was no bill, until every last thing was done, and the owner returned and reinspected the job. When I gave the owner the payment, he went over each part of the gutter system to explain how it works and put in writing a workmanship guarantee of one year, and 20 years for parts. He told me to call if I wanted anything changed, since I had made a change to his original plan in one area. He was very flexible about telling me, if I wanted it to his original specs, just call and they'd change it. I'm excited about how beautiful my new functional gutters look on my home!! I'm continually admiring how pretty my house looks now. I can't wait until it rains!!

The crew was friendly and courteous, but unfortunately, the quality of the cleanup was disappointing, both in removing debris around the house and in disposing of leaves collected from the gutters. One plastic bag of debris was left in a corner of my garden, and another was placed in my yard-waste bin, which I had to remove myself because Evanston does not accept yard waste in plastic bags. After I contacted Tim to express my concerns, he apologized and promptly sent a crew back to redo the cleanup. I was very pleased with his response and his commitment to customer service. Tim was responsive to my phone calls and returned my messages quickly. I appreciate the way he addressed my concerns, and I look forward to using Guaranteed Gutters again.

Cameras covering the yard and property show the crew was here for roughly 14 minutes total, including unloading and reloading their truck. Despite that, they claimed they completed the entire job, including cleaning all three downspouts and going through our neighbor's yard to access and clean that side of the house. They never used a hose to flush or check the downspouts. When I questioned this, they stalled and gave me the runaround for weeks before finally returning. They did work on the downspouts, but still never went through the neighbor's yard, despite originally claiming they had. No photos, no convincing explanation, and weeks of excuses. I would not trust this company to do the work they claim to have done.

I opted for a company with a flat rate, which was a bit higher than the lowest bid, based on the reviews I read and the added peace of mind provided by Yelp's guarantee. Since we have gardens surrounding our house, we were concerned about potential damage to our newly planted seedlings and the fresh mulch. We discussed this beforehand, and they clearly explained their process to prevent any issues and assured us they would clean up thoroughly. The entire process was quick and efficient.
