I have been threading my eyebrows for many years and I had never been this badly cut. When the lady was doing it, it kinda hurt but I didn't think anything of it. When she was done, my eyebrows were red like usual and when I got home my eyebrows were burning. And that's when I realized she had badly bruised me and cut me with the thread underneath my eyebrow. The shape of my eyebrows were fine but she was too rough to the point she hurt me. I don't recommend this place to anyone unless you like cuts around your eyebrows.

Pleasantly surprised! I am very picky when it comes to my eyebrows. I used to work in DC and would only get them done at Shohba. Since moving to VA I have yet to let anyone touch my brows until now. Despite the good reviews I was still nervous coming here but it was great. Pros: -No appointment necessary and no wait time, I was helped in 0.5 seconds -I told her I wanted to keep my brows thick and to just clean up the shape, they turned out as I wanted -price was reasonable at $12 Cons -they did not cleanse my eyebrows or give me a toilette to clean my hands before starting, this is good hygiene in my opinion because I have to touch my face so that docked 1 star

If you're looking to get your eyebrows threaded, don't come to this place unless you want to ruin your eyebrows. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Don't be fooled by the high ratings! I came in with a friend today, Wednesday May 17th, at around 2:30PM to get my eyebrows cleaned up before our graduation this weekend. Usually we frequent threading places in Tyson's, but because Fair Oaks Mall is closer to us, we decided to give this place a shot. I thought this store would do a decent job of threading as the ratings were quite high. There was one woman ahead of us when we walked into the store, and even though Sabitra was the only one working at the time, we didn't have to wait too long. My friend got her eyebrows threaded first, and then it was my turn. As I made my way to the threading chair, Sabitra asked if I was only going to do my eyebrows. I said yes...and that was the end of our conversation. She didn't ask me how I wanted my eyebrows to look, though all the eyebrow threading places I've visited before always have asked. Granted, I should have spoken up right at the get-go. However, I still think this was poor practice on their part to not even ask. According to my friend, it wouldn't have mattered had I said something - Sabitra pretty much disregarded my friend's request in keeping her eyebrows close to her natural shape. When Sabitra finished threading my eyebrows, I sat up from my chair to look at the mirror in front of me...and I almost screamed. She thinned out my eyebrows SO much that it basically was 3/4 of the original width. She also shaped my eyebrows to have a high arch, which I am NOT a fan of (I prefer a straighter brow). And when I say a high arch, I mean a HIGH arch. As you can tell from the after picture, I look like I'm constantly surprised due to my high-arched, thin eyebrows. I couldn't believe the horrible job she did to my eyebrows, especially right before my college graduation. I paid, left, and went straight to Sephora to fill in/fix my eyebrow tragedy. In this situation, the difference between my eyebrow hair and myself is that my eyebrow hair will come back. Do yourself a favor and go the extra mile (or couple of miles) to get your eyebrows done in Tyson's. You won't regret it.

Asmita did very well on my eyebrows and did exactly what I asked. Although after a couple days I started getting pimples around my eyebrows. ( as well as my friends who went with me ) The only con is that they did not clean my face with anything before or after.

I have been going here for a while now and have always had great service and phenomenal results when getting my eyebrows threaded. Today I walk in and one technician is assisting a customer and another one was behind the counter asleep. Then she wakes up when the other lady called her name. Then I tell her I was my eyebrows CLEANED UP, NO SHAPE CHANGE with tint.... and of course she does the opposite. She changed the shape and on top of that left them completely in even. Luckily I looked at them in the mirror before she tinted them and mentioned it. She stated "yes I know they are uneven and changed the shape" SO SHE WAS AWARE! And was still going to continued with tinting. She apologized and said "hopefully it will grow back" and said she was going to pray for me that they would come back." What establishment says that? She said we will fix it when you come back and of course I said I will never be back. She continued and continued and continued even after I said that's enough just tint them fix them and let me go. After she finished she still asked for my phone number... why would i give you any info what so ever. Worst experience I have ever had in my time going there and I will not be back. She should not be licensed to do eyebrows and especially when you KNOW it was a bad job and continued. She was the worst. And clueless. read more

I tried this place after seeing the comments by a couple other yelpers. I have been going to BrowArt 23 for almost a year. To sum it up 1. Mina threaded my eyebrows. She did a great job. 2. Once Mina was done another lady (older) walked over to look at my eyebrows and had he make a few adjustments. This was nice because it made me feel like they really care about the quality of work. 3. Seemed to be a family owed and operated place. Everyone was nice. Even when I called because I couldn't find the place as it was not located on the mall map and yelp has it listed in section F but I usually don't go to that end of the corridor. 4. Prices are the same as BrowArt23 $12.00 for eyebrow threading. 5. The process wasn't rushed like at BrowArt which I liked. It had a feel of actually going to a spa or salon to get threading done. 6. The decor is really nice!!! 7. Lastly there is a reward card which BrowArt23 does not have. After so many threading visits you earn a free one. I would recommend this place over the BrowArt23 location upstairs. read more

I work in the mall and I am an avid shopper so I have been walking past this place a few times. Finally today I went in. I am so happy I did. I do not have much hair on my eyebrow so I was very nervous to try this out. I had a woman whose name started with a G (Ganga?). I cannot remember it. But she was amazing. She took the time to understand what I want. And asked me how they looked multiple times until I was satisfied. My eyebrows look amazing. I will be back! read more

I came to this place while browsing through the mall. I was actually pleased with their services. My eyebrow threading wasn't really painful although I have thick hair. I stop by Perfect Eyebrows once a month at Tysons or Fairfax. I get excellent service at both locations. I use both locations due to my schedule. Girls are fast. I love speed work when getting my upper lip threaded. I also get my eyebrows and face threaded. Great quality. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Eyebrow threading was really good! She did an amazing job, however I got my upper lip waxed and she ripped my skin off she waxed the same area three times!!!......it has been red/painful for the past 4 hours...I think they reuse the stick for wax which I didn't really like..Also waxing for upper lip is $10 which is kind of expensive. read more

Asmita was wonderful. I cannot get my brows waxed as I have a prominent bone above my brow and waxing pulls the skin off and leaves a scab. She was patient and thorough. My brows have never looked better. I would highly recommend her. I have found my go to place for eyebrow care! read more

I apparently attempted to try this business some time ago, thus I receive text alert coupons. I usually only wax in warmer months, pre-vacay, or prior to my annual girls trip. Im still not a real fan due to my horrible grow back struggles with ingrown hairs. Then after a positive experience elsewhere and my friend saying "waxing with consistency" will decrease ingrowns and your hair becomes softer, finer and takes longer to grow back each time. For this reason, I have attempted to continue on a schedule. I tried to book with Ms. Annie's a few times online. My account wouldn't work, so I called to get some assistance on this day. The young lady on the phone was in a rush. I wanted her to help get my online account working properly so I would have the ability to select any available appointments slots posted, service provider, and have option to cancel/ reschedule within limits posted. Instead of helping to get my online account working, she simply booked the appointment. I called back in less than 15 minutes to request a change. She said, I'll make the change, but you'll have a $50 fee whenever you reschedule. I was mortified! That wasn't really smart. The only thing it did was solidify that I definitely will never book at this business!!! Poor customer service and vibes!! Also the online scheduling system didn't work well at all!

That's how much I trusted them. Some girl did the sloppiest work. My brows are not symmetrical in any way, and she left gel on ONE BROW. This is worse than being consistently bad. Raising expectations and failing to meet them, when I have an important meeting in hours, unforgivable. If you recognize the person inside, they're good. If some stranger is there, you're playing eyebrow roulette. This cannot even be repaired. I'm just screwed. And I trusted them.

Owner still owes hundreds of dollars in unpaid wages and benefits from the inability of day to day workers to file a lawsuit. This place is only remotely worth visiting because of the kind employees. The employer is a jerk who isn't just rude and unwelcoming but who i've heard cheats out on tips of the workers . DO NOT tip because it does not go to the workers but the owner takes it all. Was always curious about getting my eyebrows threaded finally got the nerve to try it today. I was greeted by Ganga K. as soon as I walked in the door. She explained the process and answers all my questions. Very patient, and she was very welcoming. She did a wonderful job. I LOVED IT. I will definitely ask for Ganga again. read more

I come and get my eye brows threaded here once a month. I have very thick brows and I have to do minimal tweezing between threading services. Not much else to say but I always have a great experience here and don't trust anyone else with my brows. A++++ read more

Sabrita just threaded my eyebrows. She did such an amazing job and was fast and quick. No one was here when I came in. I prefer to get my eyebrows waxed as opposed to threaded. I will come here at least once a month from now on. Fantastic service! read more
