The only reason I'm really giving a two for this salon is the speed at which my service was done. I came here to get a true Brazilian and I was in and out in about 10 minutes which is the shortest ever. However, I am also insanely bruised up after this. I wish I could post a picture but I do not want to flash the world. My entire bikini line is bruised in shades of purple and red. Was the speed really worth the pain and carelessness of not pulling the skin tight and applying pressure after each pull? A little extra time would've been nice. read more

Plenty of parking in the lot and it's right off the edge of campus if you need to walk. I came here since my usual brow lady went MIA on me but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality here! I came in on a Friday afternoon and there was no wait at all. I definitely needed some major work since it had been a long time since my last threading and she was speedy in her work, probably under 10 mins and she was done! However the end product looked great and my friends also complimented me on my brows! Great great place! This was my first time trying eyebrow threading and I loved it. I had been plucking but my eyebrows were becoming oddly shaped (I'm not good at being symmetrical :P), so I decided to give this a try. I had done waxing in the past and have had mixed experiences. It is much more painful and I've had the experience where they have torn pieces of my skin off--not fun. This wasn't painful at all (though some of my friends felt a little pain, I may be desensitized of the pain in this area). It was $6 and you also get a punch card. After your 5th visit, the 6th eyebrow threading is free. It was very very fast (less than 5 minutes) and easy! I loved the result. Would definitely come here again. read more

If you want great eyebrows I whole-heartedly recommend this place. The lady here definitely knows what she's doing, she always makes my brows look awesome. I always leave satisfied with her work. I read positive reviews, wanted to try it out and went in on a busy day. There was one woman there and she stacked her clients so all of us would wait a fair amount of time for the service we needed. She knew it was my first time there, but she didn't ask about what I wanted before threading and gave me what I imagine are her default set of eyebrows shapes. My eyebrows turned out much too thin and angular, but you get what you paid for (tbh I was a little horrified when I looked in the mirror right after she was done). $6 per threading with the sixth time free. Listen. If you don't really care about your eyebrows and want a quick fast job done, go here. If you CARE about your eyebrows and the shape and how it looks on your face, avoid this place and the girl/owner who works there at all costs. Unfortunately this place has a lot of good reviews/stars because I can tell you the people don't know any better. I'm from the middle east and I've gotten my eyebrows done in many different countries and bigger cities and they will TAKE their time, tweeze to shape it, and thread the shape you want. I came in after 4 months of not touching my brows--the perfect canvas. I showed her my eyebrows how I get them done usually in the middle east, and I told her several times how I don't want the thickness to be equal from one end to the other and how I want the top part of my eyebrow as straight as possible. She brushed it off with "uh huh uh huh" per usual (I have come here twice before in the past 8 years so I should have known better but was desperate), and went along to thread my eyebrows in less than 2 minutes to give me 2 nice uneven and upside down smiley faces. Literally my brows are ruined and she just thinks because she's the only high starred place in champaign that no one will have a problem with whatever she does. Wrong. I've spent an hour trying to soap brow shape my brows, fill them in, and figure out how the F to shape them so they look a little normal and no luck. Seriously so unprofessional -- listen to your damn customers and IF THEY GIVE YOU SOMETHING YOU CAN'T DO THEN DON'T WASTE THEIR TIME AND MONEY. I just discovered this threading salon, and in general, I was really impressed! Having lived in Chicago for six years, I was anxious about finding a place in Champaign that offered threading (most places only offer waxing). Sure enough, it turns out this is the only official threading salon in the city (besides in the mall, which has really negative reviews)! The owner herself did my eyebrows and she had that magical touch...as in she managed to do the job quickly, thoroughly and with minimal pain. The best part is that it was only $6! This is a first-rate threading salon! I have tried two others in the area, but this one is a CLEAR WINNER for now! Deepa attended to me and had the best for my eyebrows at heart. I actually wanted her to thread hair on my cheeks, but she recommended against it (again, she had what was best for me at heart). I came to Perfect Arch for the first time a week ago, and when I walked in there was a couch full of people waiting. I almost left because I thought it would take at least an hour, but I made a trip just to try this place out so I decided to wait. I probably wasn't there more than 10 minutes when it was already my turn. I sat in the chair and my eyebrows were threaded in less than a minute. I was nervous to look in the mirror since she did them so quickly, but they were absolutely perfect. My eyebrows have never looked better! Perfect Arch is absolutely fantastic. I have very thick, dark eyebrows which can be tricky - because one pull of the wrong hair, and my eyebrows look completely outta whack. No need to worry about that here, Deepa is the best there is. She is fast, friendly, and most importantly inexpensive! For $6 for one threading, you can't beat it. I went there Wednesday about 1pm and I think it was the perfect time bc there's only one customer. It was kinda hard to find because you have to go around the building to get to the entrance and don't be fooled by the building directory bc it doesn't say "Perfect Arch". I had never had a Brazilian wax...so I checked yelp and saw some nice reviews about this place. So I went and the owner Dipal waxed me. Ok so yes of course it hurt...but she was great. She was so cute...I kept laughing cause it hurt and I couldn't believe I was doing it. She was so adorable she's like I can't tell if you are crying or laughing. Lol but she made the experience fun cause she was laughing with me but not in a mean way. She did it very quick...like in 10 min. If only you guys knew what I had to go through to get to this place.. It can be easily overlooked and if you don't know the area it will be challenging to find this place. (Easier if you have a car.) I swear by eyebrow threading as a opposed to waxing. You avoid post waxing scars and skin damage and get an overall better brow shape. Deepa is an absolute artist, the best eyebrow threading consistently even compared to my salon in my hometown. Here's the thing.. I have visited a total of 3 different threading ladies in Champaign (one being the mall booth). Okay... so please don't go to the new lady at the mall. She'll completely ruin your eyebrows and then say "What do you mean what's wrong?! I do better next time!" I had to grow my eyebrows out for almost 2 months.. went to Perfect Arch full of hope, distress, and agony.. The lady here was sweet, made small talk that wasn't forced, and gave me the best eyebrows EVER!!! It was done in less than 3 minutes, no pain, only $6, and I felt like a queen! Absolutely discusted with my last visit. I have been using this salon for over a year, when I first started with her she did an amazing job. Now, after several visits she has really slacked in her performance. This time particularly. I have just spent almost 6 months growing one eyebrow out to be even with the other one, and she just threaded the whole top off now, I will be spending the next 6 months growing this eyebrow out again, and another salon. Seva located in wal mart does an excellent job as well and they are much more gentle anyway. I would not recommend this salon to anyone as she has gotten very confident in the last year, for no reason. read more

I couldn't wait to get my eyebrows done again but I was not comfortable when she did not wear a mask. It says masks are required to come in the establishment. If she is going to be that close to my face she needs a mask also. They are saying that people can get the virus through their eyes. read more
