We had a fantastic remodel of our bathrooms and kitchen. D & M are not "order takers" - They are…read moresalesmen. They helped us out to figure our what we wanted and made it happen. I was particularly impressed at how clean they left our home each day. We expected a mess, but they set the work to minimize our inconvenience. D&M also made multiple "while you are at it" minor repairs in the work area. Unlike other contractors we have worked with, D&M took responsibility for the quality of their sub-contractor's work. I did not have to be the QA inspector. Why not 5 stars? The billing process was not a smooth as possible. As changes were made, the invoice was was revised without versioning. This lead to confusion as to whether we were looking at the last version or the second-to-last version. There were also errors in the billing. Honest errors - most the them were in our favor. The financing options did not support the business owner's cash flow needs - only an initial disbursement and final payment, when initial, mid-point, and final payment schema would have matched the work flow. It was awkward to be asked to approve final payment before all work was done. We ended up using financing for 80% of the work so D&M would be paid for the excellent already completed, and the final payment out-of-pocket. Would I use D&M again? Absolutely.

The backsplash was left unfinished and uneven. The paint was rolled over the outlet covers, and paint ran onto the ceiling. They said the ceiling was just shadowing when clearly it was painted. The wall paint got on the beautiful cabinets too, which now needs to be touched up. When trying to get the project finished and the crew out of my mother in law's house and money back for the parts that were not completed properly, we have been going back and forth for more than 2 weeks and am still unable to get this project completed. They have moved on to other projects and have not completed ours. Having to hire a second crew to complete the job in order to have it done in a timely manner, and correctly. Very sad. Don't wish this experience for anyone.

On our first trip, it was busy and no one really seemed to want to help. Since it was our first time, we walked around for about 2 hours really trying to narrow down our decisions. Some of the displays are confusing as to what the prices and choices are so it was a little difficult. If you were lucky enough to get a sales person (we were not) then maybe you were able to get more info. We wrote down our choices and left. I came back by myself during the week hoping it was not as crowded so that I could actually get someone to write me a quote. When I walked in the front door, there was a young women sitting at the first station. She looked up and said good morning. I said good morning and then I went to look at the bathroom vanities. I knew I still needed help, so I walked up to her to ask for help. She turned from her computer monitor, looked me in the eye and said "I am busy right now" and went back to work. What? OK, that was rude. When she saw I was still standing there, she looked to the gentleman to her right and said "Oscar, you are too busy to help her as well, correct?" Oscar looked at me and said I can help you in about 10 minutes. I wish I had gotten her name because she was incredibly rude and disrespectful. After a few minutes, Ocsar tried to help me. I could tell he was rushing and really didn't want to help me so I just gave him some of my choices so I could at least get a quote. I think if you are a contractor they treat you better than just a regular person coming in to look and get prices. My contractor was not with me, so maybe if I had brought him it would have been different. For me, customer service is terrible, pricing and choices are confusing if you are just trying to look around and overall this was a bad experience. I would not come back, especially if someone like the young lady talks to customers that way. We wound up going to another bathroom company to ultimately purchase our vanity, cabinets and counter top.
