Still, I'm a big online fan because otherwise I can spend half a day looking for somewhere to eat. And the online menu does say they love people with allergies. However there is no mention of gluten or gluten free on the menu. Maybe this is related to the tightening of Australian rules into "gluten friendly" rather than gluten free. Since their specialty is hot sandwiches, I'm up in the air on the gluten front. If they will allow choosing from the sides and extras menu, that would be perfect. I also like how many of their prices have stayed reasonable, with five dollar coffees, I don't know if I can eat them but their egg sandwiches for Brekky look positively dreamy.

There's a wall full of US number plates, lumberjack saws, guitars, and of course - the heads of a few dead animals. The owner / bartender Scott was really friendly and didn't care at all when I said that I prefer red wine over scotch. He has a bit of everything on the menu and aside from whiskey from all over the world they have a good cocktail menu as well. So I got a red wine and as people filtered into the bar I saw people ordering cider, beer, wine, and everything in between. So don't be put off if like me you don't drink whiskey - its a great small bar in the main street of Orange.
