I had my eye on Perch for a very long time. The opportunity to stop by presented itself not too long ago and I seized it. I came on a weeknight evening. It's very easy to find with its lovely wooden accents and large windows. This is truly a local spot, and it was easy to find seating at the bar. As others have noted, this is not necessarily a place to bring a crowd, but it is perfect for an intimate date or a couple of friends. I came just before the kitchen closed and decided to try the ceviche. While I was deciding what cocktail I wanted to try, the bartender was kind enough to ask what my favorite drink was and offered helpful details about the drinks I was considering. I decided to start off with the ceviche and the Luna de miel drink which was a slightly sweeter drink with spicy notes. I loved the drink so much that I chose a second drink called the City Sunset which was a pleasant drink to end the night with. Loved my stop here and can't wait to come back!

This is one of my favorite cocktail spot. It is very inconspicuous from the outside, but there's a nice warm aura once you enter. The bar is long but is very intimate. Summer nights I enjoy sitting by the huge window at the front. Other times I sit further in to take in the expansive few of the bar selection. Service is great, bartenders greet you always upon entering. The mixology is wild. Negroni and Sazarak are probably my favorites to have. However, the concoctions are always yummy and nicely displayed. Bar bites are also pretty good. Go for a nice intimate cocktail experience! I'm highly recommending Perch, as I continue to go myself.

Great local spot in East Harlem. It's usually busy, but we were lucky to get seats by the bar. The cocktails and entrées were delicious. It's not too noisy, but the space is small and narrow so I recommend you make a reservation (if possible).

Perch is a cocktail bar that I've had on my list to visit for a while and I'm so glad I finally got the opportunity to try it. Coming in the bar is fairly small. There's only bar seating available so not the best place to bring a group. I came with my partner on a random weekday night around 7pm and there were only two seats left so def plan accordingly. Perch does not take reservations so visiting during off hours will give you the best opportunity to find a seat :) My partner and I ended up ordering the Mambo Siciliano and the Luna de Miel cocktails, respectively. Both were delicious but if I had to choose a favorite it would be the Luna de Miel. It was smooth, not too sweet, and well balanced. For food we ended up ordering the longaniza croquettes, smashed fingerling potatoes, and the lamb meatballs. All 10/10 with a slight edge to the croquettes for my fave. We also ordered the NY strip which was flavorful and tender but ended up coming out a lot more rare than what we asked for. All in all a really strong cocktail bar choice that I can't wait to add more into my rotation!

This place is nestled in a historic and not too gentrified location in Harlem. It's quite quaint and dimly lit inside. There is seating at the bar or near the door. So seating is definitely limited. Always when I go I am greeted by the bartender. The food options are all small bites and it ranges from seafood, to veggies, and meat forward dishes. My favorites are the longaniza croquettes, lamb meatballs, and burrata pistachio salad. For drinks I definitely recommend trying all their drinks. My go to faves are the Mambo Siciliano and the Luna de Miel. Both are bright and refreshing. The one thing I would say as constructive feedback is that some dishes arrived lukewarm/cold. All in all I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves a nice cozy atmosphere and good drinks.

Perch's drinks are undefeated! The atmosphere is so cute & the drinks definitely match the vibes. The bartender we had was very attentive & made sure we were good the whole time. & besides the presentation of the drinks, they were strong! But not so strong that it was overpowering. Overall I'd def recommend!

Perch is the jam in East Harlem! I ran the half marathon this weekend and decided to celebrate at Perch; such a great choice. The Ambiance is super swanky and the service is superb. My friend and I ordered a few martinis and appetizers and everything was just fantastic. For food we had the following - smash fingerlings (so tasty and I love the garlic aioli) - bread & dip (the whipped ricotta was so tasty and a must have). For drinks: 1 dirty martini (made perfect) 1 breakfast in bed (the bacon fat washed bourbon was out of this world) 1 Lei Me Down (the mango and pineapple go great together), Perch is top notch for any occasion and I look forward to visiting again soon as it is right down the way from me. Thanks for a wonderful first visit!

Cute little cocktail lounge, my cousin loved the whiskey options. Apparently it's a whiskey bar, which is a special thing for whiskey drinkers. I had a mezcal cocktail and it did not disappoint. I loved the ambience here and the bartender was friendly and helpful in making choices (I love a resourceful bar tender)! This place is open late during the week, and wasn't crowded, but had a nice quaint crowd. I didn't get a chance to try the food, but looking forward to going back for the full experience.

Came here for a late dinner on a Monday and there were plenty of spots open - avoided the weekend bc I heard it gets very packed and they don't take reservations. Very sophisticated, intimate spot. Really stands out from the nearby establishments. Drinks were tasty, nicely mixed, and well presented. Also a good selection. Bartender was friendly and accommodating. Food (croquettes, NY strip steak, and chocolate cake) was good. Would definitely go back

Came here for drinks and tapas, but they were understaffed for a Sunday evening. I enjoyed my drink, but decided to head out early. Very nice server!

Sorry took the photo after I started eating. This is their burger.

Really cool spot for a cocktail and a delicious bite. They have the best burger in the neighborhood, and not sure that was on their goal list but they killed it! Everything about this place is sophisticated yet relaxed. It manages to be rich without being snobby. The wall coverings, bar chairs, lighting, menu, and service are all top rated. My only hope is that they switch the music up - maybe play some lofi hip hop beats or some jazz (currently they play a random mix, and it just doesn't jive with the vibe that everything else is giving). True story, I often put my ear buds in and listen to my own music when I patron this establishment. Music is huge and sets the vibe, so get that right and o my! The drinks are pricey but worth it! The cocktails are original and there is so much work goes into making each drink. It's fun to watch the bartenders do their thing, which I think is the point. The bar is super clean and the bartenders are meticulous and talented. The walls behind the bar are this beautiful dark wood that seem to be a mix of storage and wall design. A wooden window opens up to serve the food from the kitchen, which is neat. The placement of their dishwasher area, which you walk past to get to the bathroom, is thoughtful and organized and I always say hello to the dish washer and chat when waiting for the rest room. The burger is outstanding. Perfect beef to bun ratio- which is saying a lot because most places get that wrong. The bun is covered in sesame seed and is super fresh. The blue cheese is creamy and not overpowering, as some blue cheeses can be. The red onions are sweet and balance with the flavors perfectly. Truly the best burger I have ever had. It's not much to look at when it comes out solo in the plate, and to be honest is a bit underwhelming, but when you bite in- o my goodness. The whipped ricotta and bread dish is so simple, yet so delicious. The ricotta is creamy and is topped with a drizzle of olive oil and what I think is fresh rosemary. This dish is on their happy hour menu an easy shareable dish. I always do the oysters, which are also on their happy hour menu. They are always fresh. I have done the smashed fingerlings- YUM!, the risotto, and the croquettes. I haven't had anything that wasn't worth trying. Enjoy! One of my favorite places in the neighborhood. Smash hit.

    Ambiance is pretty cool
