Rated one of the best coffee shops in Atlanta I now know why. Had a delicious good times latte made with a vanilla-lavender and habanero sugar mix, beautiful coffee art on the foam at the top. Also had what I would consider way better version of the McDonalds McGriddle...the ginormous deluxe breakfast sandwich. I mean this thing is huge and it requires a big appetite which I had at the time of my visit but I couldn't finish it. Two sausage patties, egg, crispy bacon and melted cheese for the win. I came out of there a very happy satisfied dude with plenty of fuel for the next 6 hours. This is now one of my favorite coffee shops in Atlanta and will definitely be coming back every time I visit ATL. read more

After living in ATL for a year and getting a better sense of the coffee scene here, I've come to find that PERC has some of the best in the city. Their mocha is in my top 3 (it's delightfully more on the chocolatey side), and they have some amazing pastries as well--I popped in early one morning and they had an incredible spread of stuff. The jalapeño cheddar brioche tart is a MUST, I'm still dreaming about it. The vibe at this location is also really nice for getting some focused work done--they play chill music, and there are outlets aplenty (bless). They also have a few outdoor tables. read more

Best coffee shop in Atlanta. People have NO IDEA how hard it is to find a place that makes their own housemade flavorings AND makes them creative AND weighs out how much they add for consistency. What is the point of a coffee shop that buys monin syrup? I can make that at home. The amazing coquito (coconut) latte or condor mocha or good times latte (lavender) are just absolutely amazing and in so happy to have this nearby! It's a vibe! This is one of two locations in Atlanta; I believe the bigger location. I love the over all atmosphere; large windows to let the light in, bright colors on the walls, and a nice amount of seating. The lattes are always on point and pastries super good. Almost didn't want to write a review because I want this place to myself haha. But they deserve all the recognition. This is a GREAT local Kirkwood coffee shop with some yummy treats and pastries. They recently opened a few months ago and I HOPE they are crushing it despite COVID. Any time we go for a coffee, people practice social distancing and wear their masks. And Perc is doing a great job with everything. I can't wait to see how they continue to crush it when things (hopefully) go back to normal in the near future. Their coffee is great. The Perc is a nice spot. Fitting for studying, getting work done, grabbing coffee, and meeting up with a friend. It's not a large cafe but an adequate size. They offer unique blends of and types of coffee. There were no large coffee offerings, and they can be a bit generous with the sugar. So be mindful if you don't like a lot of sugar. The food can be a bit pricey considering the serving size, but I think the price is more reflective of the ambiance, atmosphere, and location. But overall the atmosphere is nice. I would come back for that, but not necessarily the food or the coffee. read more

Perc on Hosea Williams has quickly become one of our favorite breakfast spots! While the actual breakfast here probably only deserves three stars, Perc has a few things going for it that raise it to the next level. Firstly, it is very conveniently located for those living on the western side of Decatur, or Kirkwood, or East Lake, or even the eastern parts of Edgewood. Secondly, it opens early. It's nice knowing that we don't have to wait till 8 AM or even 9 AM to find a quality breakfast spot. Finally, it's also open on Mondays. Lately, especially since the pandemic, more and more restaurants forgo service on Mondays and sometimes even on Tuesdays. There are even some restaurants that don't operate until Thursday. It's nice having an option for Monday mornings. As for the food, our usually go-to is a savory pastry such as the lightly cheesy and amply dusted with sesame seed, bread twist, the almond cookies, and a breakfast sandwich call the E gg N Cheese Holla which is very nicely prepared. Perc's beverages are delicious, especially the cappuccino as it is much closer to an actual Italian cappuccino than those at most other coffee shops.
