For example, in one hearing I specifically told them in advance that the hearing was to be conducted remotely via Zoom, but the reporter showed up in person anyway against my specific instructions. There are far better reporting firms who do not engage in this kind of behavior.

I am a member of the California State Bar of more than 20 years' good standing. Jamie Kirk, the…read morepresident of this company, submitted a complaint to the California State Bar over an allegedly unpaid invoice for $850 that he claims my firm owed. The complaint falsely states that I hired his company for the deposition when, in fact, I defended the deposition and his company was hired by the other side. I have never seen a court reporting company behave in this manner. I am self employed and have a wife and two kids to provide for, and Mr. Kirk is trying to interfere with my professional license over a $850 disputed debt based on false statements. I would suggest that anyone considering hiring this company think twice.
