I was able to discuss workers compensation issues with Attorney Jacob and had open and honest conversations with the staff. They were always responsive, courteous, and willing to help those in need. My interactions with the staff haven been nothing but premier and top notch. Amanda is a great supervisor and oversees the cases with a keen eye. Jacob has lots of empathy and patience. He truly cares for people. Both attorneys have the desire to assist those who are in need of benefits. They have the utmost respect and care for their clients while aggressively pursuing positive outcomes. I would not hesitate to refer my entire network to this firm. You won't find more caring attorneys elsewhere. read more

Started out ok. I believe I only spoke to Amanda once she had wanted to know if I would accept $39,000 for both my injuries at and resign, which I kindly declined. That was just ridiculous.. also said I wouldn't get better than . since then, I thought she was working for me and then when it came to the Ame report I immediately noticed a undeniable flaw in the report and when I called to speak to my lawyer, I could not get a hold of her set up an appointment andIt was canceled set up another appointment and a receptionist was trying to go over report with me. which is unacceptable and causing harm to my case never answered any emails. All I got was give him a message as soon as I could hear something. I'll get back to you never got back to if you me this was complete negligence and malpractice. doesn't deserve one penny and I will report it to the state bar as well I only put one star because I was unable to put zero star. read more

If I could give them a zero review I would. I had a phone consultation appointment with them and got no phone call. I tried calling and got the "Sorry, there is nobody to take your call," message and then it sent me to a voicemail. I left a message and also sent an email stating I had an appointment scheduled and was never called. It is 2 days later and I have gotten no return phone call and no response to my email. Again, if I could give ZERO stars I would!! read more

I Filled a claim a year after the accident thinking I wasn't going to get very far or I thought I didn't have much of a case. Despite my doubts I went ahead and did the free over the phone consultation and retained her services and she was the BEST!!! Always kept me in the loop. If I had any questions or concerns her and her team were so patient with me and answered my questions and explained the whole process. Ended up taking a settlement and furthering my education thanks to Amanda and her awesome team! highly recommend! read more

At the beginning of conversation while deciding whether I would go with them everyone was attentive. Once I signed and when I would call to see where I stood with the case or to update them of my doctors visits or to see what I should do next I was met with sighs as if I was disturbing them. Attorney Amanda was fine until my check did not come in mail. When I asked if they received their payment I was told they had received it about two weeks prior. I emailed Amanda and her response was unprofessional and unconcerning. Her response (copied and pasted): Hi Ronnique, My office does not have answers for you - and I know that's a very frustrating feeling. We are not the party that writes or controls the checks that get mailed to you. We do not have any information to give you other than "we are looking into it for you." I found this statement to be disrespectful and inappropriate. You're my attorney. If not you then who should have answers for me?So I called the appropriate people to get information and passed that information to Invictus which got the ball rolling. I received my payment weeks after my attorney received theirs. If I wouldn't have followed up myself it would have been longer. There's no accountability for not following up with their client. The point is that after receiving their payment they were clearly not concerned with me and my needs. Being in this situation is stressful enough. To have my attorney and her team be so nonchalant about pain and suffering is heartbreaking. It makes me wonder if I was represented correctly. If my best interest was considered. I'm very disappointed and would say think twice before deciding to sign with Invictus. Good luck to you all and God bless. read more

I was referred to Amanda by a good friend after I was hit in the head at work. It's been a long and difficult road but Amanda, Jason, Kathy have ALL been my advocates in an amazing and comforting way. My case was tough especially with difficult opposing counsel but they have my BACK! I didn't always see that but trust me...I recommend Invictus and so appreciate all the work on my case. Bless you guys!! Angela M. read more

Amanda Deering is awesome. She knows Workers Comp law and did a great job briefing me on how to answer questions in a deposition. When the employer expressed a willingness to settle we explored that possibility. Amanda and I came up with a suggested amount and she presented the numbers. The employer came back with about 40% of what we had asked for. So she countered with a 25% increase and they agreed on that amount. I am very satisfied with the results Amanda and her legal team, in the office, were able to accomplish. If you need help with a Workers Comp settlement I would call Amanda right away. Of course every case is different, so my results could be higher or lower than your settlement, but when Amanda Deering White is representing you, you can rest easy that the job she is doing will be through and satisfying. You haven't called her yet... What are you waiting for? Amanda is the BEST WC attorney I have ever worked with. read more

Referred by friends alas too late as I already had attained council. Although I didn't retain them they were even more helpful than who I retained After not being able to get answers to some questions I had. I called invictus law Who knowledgeably answer my questions. I highly recommend this law firm for its polite cordial and professional communication read more

So, I have been trying to contact Amanda for the past 2 weeks about a possible case without success. Not too sure what the problem is but I felt an adjustment in rating was necessary. I still think she's a great person and an attorney but I don't think she's deserving of a 5 star. read more

Amanda is the best you want on your side when it comes to accident at work. Amanda really took care of my GF's case since her employer's insurance first has denied her claim - because the accident happened during her lunch break. If you are looking for a workers compensation attorney for your work injury you've found the right office. Both the attorneys and the staff are absolutely top notch. Other than myself, I know several people who went to this office, one of which was for an industrial accident, and they've all been taken care of like family. They are knowledgeable, diligent and respond quickly. Highly recommended that you reach out to them for a free consultation because Amanda really cares and doesn't treat you like a number. read more

Amanda and Invictus Law would get 20 stars if Yelp went that high. I have had a workers' compensation case for over a year with another law firm and have not been pleased with my representation and was looking to possibly change to new representation. I searched the web for second opinions about my case. I spoke with a few attorneys and none seemed like a good fit. And then I found Invictus Law and Amanda Deering. I am a person that needs to know the why of decisions. After a one hour free consultation Amanda explained everything to me about my case in easy to understand language. She gave me some suggestions. That afternoon I called my current representation and using her suggestions I was able to settle my case for 25% more than was offered by the insurance company. I am grateful for Amanda's assistance. She is ethical, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. She is THE attorney for workers' compensation. read more

OK!!! Who does this in Orange County in today's world? I was referred to Amanda by someone that knows her professionally. This case is not mine rather for a family member who will pass away soon and is in the midst of a workers comp case. His law firm is across town. They are non-communicative and responded only when I told them he was dying. Got their attention as they want to close the case. I felt my brother was getting railroaded into settling the case. Amanda is amazingly caring, gave freely of her time and showed genuine concern for our family. She explained to me how these cases work. Due to the timing, she can't take over the case. She sent me an email last night and told me she was thinking about my brother's situation and continued on with some ideas that may be helpful although maybe too late. While I hope I personally never have to engage her professionally, she would be my choice in a heart beat. I kept trying to allow her to disconnect our call as I knew there was nothing in it for her but she told me it was OK as she truly wanted to help. read more

This review is way overdue and I apologize for that. Invictus Law handled my Workers Comp with such professionalism. Amanda was not only thorough, but kept me informed of each step in the process. Back in late spring, I had gone to see Amanda Deering at Invictus Law concerning an issue I was having with the 'state'. Amanda supplied me with valuable advice which was appreciated, considering I have absolutely no experience with California State Laws (much less any laws in general). She was able to explain things to me in a matter I could better understand, and I feel her expertise would come in handy for anyone who is in need of basic knowledge of how certain laws work. She was patient and took the time to answer my (ridiculous) questions, and she made me feel comfortable throughout my consultation. Santa Ana is certainly not convenient for me, but she is well worth the distance. read more

If you are looking for a great team of attorneys, this is the place to go. About a year ago I signed Kenneth on retainer to provide legal council for my business. He came to our office and spent quite a bit of time going over our corporate structure and setup. He helped us restructure everything to protect ourselves and our business. Kenneth was very friendly and responsive. He broke everything down into lamen's terms and made it easy for me to understand. He helped us through the whole process of re-incorporating and setting up new business entities. During the pas year Kenneth has represented us in two potential lawsuits. He was able to understand all the different issues behind the lawsuits quickly. He dealt with the opposing attorneys and was able to resolve both of the issues in a very acceptable manner. I would highly recommend Kenneth and this law firm to anyone needing legal advice. They really are willing to put you first and get to the bottom of issues. read more

Amanda with Invictus Law is the best workman's compensation attorney I have ever met. I refer people to her with the utmost confidence in having them taken care of. She has tremendous compassion for the injured worker, those who are disabled both short term and permanently. She is well connected with other professionals and if she can't help someone due to the nature of their situation, she will refer them to someone who can. Amanda handled my workmen compensation case. I was very happy how she handled mycase. With workman's compensation the way it is the laws have her hands tied pretty well. California is not the state to get injured at work in. In California, Workman's Comp doesn't cover the employee, it takes care of the employer. I would recommend Amanda and her Law Firm wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a good workman's comp attorney. [:{)} read more
