We are big fans of their pizza and long time costumers (20 plus years). Last night we ordered a pizza for our grands. When we picked up our order the gave us someone else pizza (we were #60 and they gave us a box with #44). When we got home (literally across the street) the pizza was room temperature. My husband returned with the #44 pizza ( I called while he was on his way and they said "please hold" and I was left on the counter to hear, listen and wait. I heard the person come in asking for #44 and they were frantically looking for this person's pizza ..... which they gave to us cold..... and then I heard my husband arrive a few minutes later. He told them that they gave him on old pizza. The owner tried to convince him that the cold pizza was ours. They did make a new pizza. Tonight we ordered an Italian Hoagie for the first time in a while. It was a very very sad and lacking sandwich. There was literally a very minimal amount of meat and cheese on the sandwich. The sandwich had cheese and ham only... no Italian meat to be found. More roll, onion and lettuce than the heart (meat and cheese) of the sandwich. Total fail on Peppi's part. In the future I will stick to ONLY ordering the pizza. I say if you want a spectacular hoagie order it from Primo's, Jersey Mike's or Sandwich Club. Peppi's you need to get it together. Check the number on your box of your order before you leave. You could be getting an old and cold order. And go elsewhere for a great hoagie.

Meat lasagna.. cheesy

Service is delightful. It was convenient to eat here before grocery shopping. Lasagna was ultra cheesy and came with a soup or a salad. I chose the salad and it was big. They were able to whip up a lasagna fast.this isn't the kind I expected with regards to being actually baked. Edible and again cheesy. Also came with warm garlic bread. the honey mustard bacon pizza seemed to be a hit with my family. The dessert looked great but I had no room in my stomach!! Iced tea was fresh and fabulous.

It had been a long day, so we stopped by on a Monday evening with a 15-pack of beer to enjoy with our pizza as this place is BYOB. They were doing pretty well at this time, with a few tables of larger parties too. It's self-seat, so we walked past the lovely pizza displays on the front counter and chose a booth, but there were also some tables available. When I checked in, I was pleasantly surprised to see an offer for an order of free garlic knots cones with the check-in. They were brought pretty quickly, were on the smaller side, came with 4, and were very tasty. I actually didn't see a margarita pizza on the menu, but they were still able to make me one. My date enjoyed the bacon pan pizza. We both got mediums, ate half, and had the rest the following night for dinner. They look a little while to come out, but they were the perfect "doneness" and our waitress came back to check on us just the right amount of times. We enjoyed our fresh tasty pizzas, and will be back sometime soon!

Large bacon pizza.

Peppi's has the best pizza in the area. Always hot when you order and generous portion size. Their large bacon pizza and pan pizza are my go-to orders. Pan pizza comes in one size but the traditional round goes up to a 16 inch pie. I've had their hoagie a few times and it is also delicious. Plenty of seating inside. I've never had to wait when dining in. It came to a surprise to me that they are BYOB. I went in with my fiance and we had a few beers and pizza. They provide only wine glasses for the alcohol, as I guess most people bring in wine. Really great service. I always find my way back to Peppi's. I'm sure we will find our way back soon.

Two Slices and a Drink Review Stopped into Peppi's Pizza & Pasta after shopping at the Giant Supermarket in the same Shoppes at Flowers Mill commercial center. Narrow in front, with dining room in back, this is a typical pizza parlor with booths, and a vast array of pies for examination, temptation and ordering. I asked that my two regulars be "well done," in order to reawaken the taste slumbering within after extended time under hot lamps and hungry eyes. The slices were as requested and picking each aloft showed the crust to be firm and able to supports its load. The tomato sauce was on the salty side, as was the mozza. Would have preferred a sweeter bite. Still, that's just a matter of taste, and many people like it that way. Service was friendly and prompt, and the free refill of the soft drink, a nice touch. Certainly worthy of a pizza snack when out and about.

Huge portions with BYOB (bring your own beer/wine). We had pastas with salads/soups and bread.

Good pizza but wish crust was a bit crispier. Had a plain pizza. Decent cheese and tomato sauce but the crust was rather soft

On both visits there were plenty of open tables. The service is fine, they had a couple of young kids taking care of us. They were kind and polite with prompt service. The inside was nice and wasn't looking too bad for a Friday and Saturday evening. We ordered fresh pizza's and they were out quickly both times. I'd say if you like slightly more cheese than sauce you'll like this pizza. The extra cheese by design gave it a little bit more of a saltier profile, but not too much. For my liking, I would have rather had a bit more sauce. The crust itself had a very light char and came out a tad crispy, but soft on both occasions. I couldn't find anything wrong with their pizza, but I couldn't find anything that stood out either. It's just decent average pizza. On both trips they brought me a to go box for the remainder of my pizza that was a slice or two too small. Not nit-picking, but just a minor observation. Both Large Pizza's came out to around $20 which is slightly higher than some closer and better competitors.

What made it fun was the maître D...Ira, and the owner too. They bring the personality of the place which adds a special welcoming touch. Our Server, Brayden was timly and right on. The bus guy was very sweet as well. We appreciated the staff. When we first pulled up we were not impressed with the small strip center and worried the place looked empty and drab. Turns out the dining room is to the left of the door and the first room is basically a fast food take out area. Reminded us of Aldo's in Holland...if you have ever been there. The dining room was basically a no frills kinda place but much nicer than the other side. Love a byob and we had more bottles than people...party time! (Cheers). At the end of the meal Salvatore gave us complimentary choclate lemoncello...amazing. Soooo...the food itself. We started with calamari and also the antipasto. Perfect for sharing and all delicious. Calamari was a good one. I ordered the chicken française, which was even better as leftovers the next day since it marinated in the sauce. Hubs enjoyed his veal Marcella. In fact everyone enjoyed everything. Overall, we all left feeling full, satisfied, pleased and very happy. It was a good time! Thumbs definitely up on this place.

Anyways if you're a local and haven't tried it give it a try! If you're not a local and passing by the area give it a try!! The service is always great in my opinion, the staff are polite and always helpful. PS. I will upload a photo next time I go. I can never remember to take a photo of the food. Soon as the food hits the table it never stays long. PSS. If your anything like me and forget to get your menu ready last minute for Super Bowl Sunday please call Salvatore's. The inside has quite a few tables and booths. They didn't have many diners on either visit and the side room was empty (I'm assuming they use that for private bookings?). It's a tad dated on the inside, but I've seen much worse! There was also a TV inside the dining area with that evenings Phillies game on. Their menu is huge - pasta, seafood, chicken, veal sections .... lots of restaurant items besides the usual pizza shop items. I remember having the Veal Saltimbocca - With mushrooms & prosciutto in a white wine sauce topped with mozzarella cheese many years ago and it was ok. The pizza was pretty good. Asked for well done - sweet sauce, nice ratio of cheese to sauce, the undercarriage stood somewhat firm, crust is on the thinner side and a tad crispy/cracker like. The Pep pizza should have had more Pepperoni, but was solid. Their pizza is not bad at all if you like a sauce on the sweeter side. The mozzarella sticks were tasty and not overly stringy with cheese and the cheese fries were crispy and ok with me. Don't sleep on their Cannoli's, they have regular shells and ones with chocolate on them. They are made to order and I enjoyed them. I think Poppy's is a good place to stop and grab a bite. It won't wow you, but the service was good and everyone was friendly.

I stopped in for an early dinner of Eggplant Parm Sandwich to be eaten in house. I ordered at the counter from young thing with nose clip and sat at a table near the window on the pizzeria side of the shop. The wait was about 15 minutes, but in their defense they had a load of takeout orders to handle before reaching mine. It was worth the wait. My plate was delivered by the cashier with a friendly smile and warm, "bono appetito." It was a beautiful sandwich on its oval. Long torpedo roll finished in the oven to bring up the crisp, and full load of thin cut, olive oil panned nightshade with skin on, but tender and near translucent. Add the top coat of mozzarella and red sauce finish, and I had a photo worthy tantalizing sammy. Each bite was a load to fit in my mouth. At first, folding it was not an option because it just ooze the ingredients. So, I did a little knife and fork to get things started and lighten the bulk before me, and shifted to hand held folderrol once it could be managed without spillage. Delicious from first bite to last. I admit to being on an eggplant parm kick for a few months now. I have realized that the only way to eat these creations is hot and steaming right off the grill when everything is at their apex. Takeout just guarantees that nothing is crisp and toasty, but has devolved into a messy quagmire, no longer the best it can be. So, there I was, sitting alone while the takeout line grew longer, but content to know that my enjoyment would far exceed their no longer premium dining experience.
