Just an update to my review from 3 years ago. Today I ran over to pick up a pizza and when I was leaving my car wouldn't start. AAA was going to take 4 hours, so I went back into wait and when I told them how long it would take they offered to give me a jump. I have been meaning to post a review for this place for a while. I've been a customer of Trevose Pizza for over 15 years. My family has almost always gotten pizza and hoagies from here. I'm pretty sure the same like 6 people have worked here that entire time with a few new faces over the more recent years. I think I've only ever had one mildly inconveniencing time in 15 years. The service is good, the site is clean, the food is fantastic. The saddest thing about me moving over an hour away is not being able to get the best pizza ever. This place is truly the best. I used to be a regular customer here for many years. That is, until, I had an issue with my food. They made a mistake which is fine, things happen. It was the way it was handled. The "manager" lady was so unprofessional and just plain old rude. She made ME feel like I did something wrong when they messed up my order. Her attitude was totally unnecessary. Frankly, she shouldn't be working with the public with an attitude like that. I should mention I went to another local pizza place recently. They also made a mistake. After dropping off clothes at my dry cleaners, I decided to finally check them out. They advertise old Naples style pizza and have been a family run business since 1976, when entering their shop a huge menu is almost wall sized and posted above rows of booths and tables. I noticed most people would go directly to the counter and order it to go, although a scattered few did order to dine in. Everything that I saw is served on paper plates, even to go, unless you are ordering whole pies. The first open glass enclosed case had a variety of topped gourmet pizzas and tomato pies with rather thick crusts and my heart dropped, although they did look delicious and they were loaded with fresh toppings and ready to be baked, I love a thin crust pizza. When it was my turn to order, I first said these are beautiful, but do you have any with a thin crust and he pointed to the last glass enclosed area. Yippee, they looked perfect and were topped with sauce and cheese and ready to be topped with anything your heart desired and placed into the hot oven to be baked. I ordered a pepperoni with oregano and garlic and the very hot pie was then placed into a box for me to carry out. Silly me could not wait until I even got out the door, I was starving and craving that first bite, which sizzled on my tongue and burned a bit, but oh my heavens was it ever good. Greasy pepperoni on very stringy melted mozzarella cheese perfectly seasoned with garlic and spice. It was one teeny tiny slight notch below by george's pizza, but not by much and they are only two minutes away compared to 20-30 minutes. They offer so much more, but did not have any take out menus and said maybe we will have some soon. Two men were running the shop, one spoke fairly good English but had to translate everything to his co-worker. After all of these years of passing by this shop I am so glad that I finally checked them out! They do not have a website and no take out menus, but I was able to find this menu on line http://philadelphia.menupages.com/restaurants/trevose-pizza/menu as you can see they offer appetizers, Italian dishes and I am very anxious to try their gourmet panini's on homemade focaccia bread. Really good pizza! Having lived in New York I'm definitely spoiled. We tried every pizza in the area and nothing comes close to Trevose pizza. Crust is nice and thin and slightly crispy. Sauce is good. Cheese is proportional. Pretty excellent all around. They give you a coupon with every pizza to save up for a free one. They don't deliver and that sucks! They skimp on all their ingredients and it even lacks sauce which is unacceptable (as in the crust is at least an inch and a half thick into the pizza, meaning the sauce wasn't spread properly). By far the best pizza I've come across in Bucks County. No matter where I've lived in Bucks, I've always found a way to get my fix. The crust is great, a little chewy, a little crunchy. Great cheese and sauce. I'm a pepperoni feind so I almost always get that on my pie. Quick and accurate service. If it's not pizza your in the mood for, everything else on the menu is just as good. I have been going to Trevose Pizza since I was a little girl and my grandmother would take me and my sister. This place is more than just a pizzeria to us, so we're admittedly biased based on our history. Everyone is so friendly, and the pizza is the absolute best I've ever had... And I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life. I also love their salads and sandwiches. My only critique is that it can get pricey for the pizza. This has been my family pizza place since I can remember. Recently we were there, and I ordered a sub with turkey but when I got home, I realized it was ham. I used to go to this place a lot, until recently. The reason why I stopped going there, is because guys that work there are absolutely rude, they have no respect for their customers! I've been their customer for over a year, and I have always asked for the same thing. That is, I don't want ice in my drink, I hate the taste of sink water. So, every time I ask for soda without ice, they would ask me if I am sure that I don't want any ice in my drink, to which I have always responded the same way. "Yes, I am sure, no ice please." Lo and behold, last time I went there, I got a drink filled from bottom to the top with their rusted-iron-taste ice and a few drops of soda. Now, I understand that they are trying to skimp and sell as much ice vs soda as possible. I mean, I respect them for having such an intelligent idea, "more ice, less soda" yeah, a penny saved, is a penny earned. But it just doesn't work that way with me. If they want their customers coming back, they need to change their attitude and find value in their customers. They will miss out on a profit that they could've gotten from me over the year, I used to spend around $30 a week at their place. Btw, their pizza sucks, but I really liked their "cheese steak hoagie", that's the only reason I was coming back. Now I really want to add another stars for that... Looking through the comments from other people, I have noticed some say that trevose pizza has the best pizza in bucks county. I am sorry, but you obviously haven't been to other places, so you don't have the right to say anything.
