We just moved to Edmond on Memrial Day Monday 2022! As y'all know, you kinda need to eat out for a week while ya get moved in, unpacked, and dialed in to your kitchen. So, we were forever to experiment with some local eateries and Pepperoni Grill did not disappoint! I had driven by the location when I was out and about and thought it visually looked nice, but!... how was the food? Although we ordered via a DoorDash and didn't go inside (yet), the food was fantastic. We tried two pizzas and one spinach salad and one Caprese salad. We shared it all and had the leftovers for lunch. All of the menu items were fresh, perfectly prepared or cooked, and tasty. The right amount of garlic and seasonings, cheese, fresh toppings etc. we plan to visit and dine in the actual restaurant, once we are cleaned up and dressed. Highly recommend PG!! read more

We came in from out of town and a another fellow Yelper told us to try the place. Wow, what a place! The service was phenomenal and even when our calamari was late, the manager kindly told us (without us asking or prompting for it) to comp our calamari. It was very kind. We chose the pick 3 appetizer which was bruschetta, spinach and artichoke dip, and Italian nachos. We ordered the calamari as well. It Was so good!! We thought it was so delicious and if you love spinach dip and bruschetta...it's really phenomenal! I'm not joking. It's really good. Also, we had the Fettuccini Carbonara, Chicken Risotto, Chicken Tortelini Florentine. They were all suggestions from our waitress and it really helped us to try new things! It's wonderful their staff gets the opportunity to try the items on the menu, because the waitress was very well knowledged with the menu. One of the worst dining experiences I've had in the last several years. Order a medium fillet ($39) steak was raw and COLD in center. Sent it back and told them that I didn't want it reheated because that dries out the fillet. Got a new one and it was well done and cooked to the point that it was tough. They completely forgot my wife's order Halibut so it came out as everyone was finishing their meal. The Halibut was covered in salt to the point it was in edible. I have enjoyed dining at pepperoni grill for over 25 years. It was for years my go to for great Italian food. I celebrated numerous birthday, anniversary and other special occasions here. It has been a few years since I've dined here, and never at this location, but I was highly disappointed The service was horrible. We all had to wait for drink refills several times. The bread has changed drastically. It no longer has the cracked pepper. The sausage penne was extremely spicy and greasy. The entire meal at lunch took over an hour. We told them we were celebrating a birthday and nothing special was done. I don't know I'll be going back or recommending it read more

A great atmospheric, romantic and high end (in feeling, not in price point mind you) Italian restaurant the burgeoning Covell corridor area of suburban Edmond, Oklahoma. I really liked the interior which felt sexy and crisp for such a suburban neighborhood location (it resides between a Walgreens and strip mall). My sister and her family had been coming here since they opened about a year ago and since we were celebrating a special birthday there was only one place in town where they knew we should go: Pepperoni Grill Kitchen and Wine Bar, which at best I can describe as Maggiano's meets Cheesecake Factory on a much smaller scale. When we arrived on a Monday night with a party for nine with no reservations, we were sat almost instantaneously thanks to our host shuffling a few tables around. Once I was able to peruse the huge menu that was on a flat mortar board, I noticed how affordable the prices were for all of the dishes in comparison to back home. From the Starters to the Italian Classics to the Land to the Sea, I noticed very few dishes were over twenty dollars. If I was back home in California, I guarantee you every dish would be over twenty-five bucks! After noshing on the complimentary warm focaccia bread, which you can dine with olive oil and vinegar, most of our party wanted to get something from the Italian Classics part of the menu, as everything sounded so delicious. I noticed that they have a new dish on their menu called Chicken Picatta with a butterflied breast of chicken, lightly dusted pan seared, and served in a light lemon caper cream sauce on a top capellini pasta. At a very affordable fifteen dollars, that dish had my name written all over it. And thankfully, I wasn't disappointed as it was a huge portion once it was served with two huge chicken pieces atop a huge bed of pasta, topped with plenty of cream sauce and capers. The dish filled me up with a bounty of leftovers to spare (paying attention there Olive Garden?). I also eventually sampled the house specialty lasagna dish, which was six layers tall of pasta filled with Kobe beef, ricotta, melted mozzarella, pomodoro, Parmesan and fresh parsley garnish. It was heaven in six layers! A day later for leftovers, I got sample the Seafood Pomodoro with sautéed shrimp, salmon, mussels and clams tossed zesty pomodoro and fettuccine. That tasted so hearty and amazing, even a full day later. Pepperoni Grill Kitchen and Wine Bar represents what's so good about dining out in a place that you may not be familiar with. On the outside it could be considered your standard franchise that specializes in Italian fare, but inside you get a truly elegant restaurant with a romantic ambiance and high-end energy at affordable prices. That coupled with good hearty dishes that leave you filled with more than enough food to take home, I would guess that anyone who tries it out just once would be left satisfied. I just wish Pepperoni Grill was a nationwide chain, so I could bring some of these good feelings home all of the time. read more

First off, the food was good. Maybe my 2nd or 3rd time eating at PG but first at this location. Came in about 6:45 on a Wednesday night and a nice crowd inside. Two of us were immediately seated and right off the bat I was cold. Ok, it happens. I'm 74, I get cold. But my son is 46 and he was cold. Server appeared immediately and we ordered Chianti. I also ordered an Italian Nachos appetizer. She asked for the second time if we were ready to order dinner. We said we wanted to wait a bit and enjoy the bread and our appetizer. Quickly she returned with the Chianti's and asked again if were ready to order. Ok, we said, so we ordered Ravioli and Lasagne. Approximately 7 minutes later she brought out our entrees. No appetizers. She said the Nachos were ready and she just needed to bring them out. At this point I started to say just cancel but I was hungry and let it go. Couple minutes later she brought them out. Another 10 minutes and she brought the check. Never asked about more to drink or maybe a dessert. Asked if we wanted a box and we did. Obviously done with us. Two minutes later she brought the boxes and took the card and immediately returned with it. A couple of minutes after that and we saw her leaving the restaurant. Okay, I should have refused the appetizer, I know. But my son and I had planned a leisurely late evening dinner, an appetizer and a couple Chiantis each, a tiramisu cheesecake and some coffee to close it out. We stopped at the Starbucks on the way home. I still tipped her nice- don't know why. Anyway, the food was very good and I would like to try it again. I don't eat out a lot because I'm on a fixed income but do enjoy a nice dinner on occasion. I just hate to have dinner spoiled because the waitress was tired and ready to go home. The manager at this location figured out the issue and immediately corrected it for the other store. He sent us the missing pizza and it was delicious. First the Manager Sara helped us plan a private party for 18. The setup was perfect. The appetizers were set up separately which encouraged mingling. The bar was a bit backed up so the first drink service was slow but not a great distract. Our single server Ceri worked very hard to keep up and a very good job in a pressurized situation. She could have used some help. The food was good as usual but again it was Saturday night so our food came slow and in waves but our group went with the flow and had a very good time. I'm giving this location 4 stars because the bread wasn't warm at all and hardly had any cheese compared to Penn. I almost asked for a different loaf but didn't want to come across as needy. I haven't been to a pepperoni grill in a long time. I love pasta so I figured I would give this place another shot. When walked in the door the host didn't even look up from his tablet. We waited a bit and then I said hi. They had some lunch hour traffic but it wasn't horribly busy. Once we got seated our server was Rachel. Rachel was awesome & very friendly. She was always on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of. I ordered the spicy chicken Alfredo and it definitely had a kick to it. While it was good it seemed to lack and over all flavor and taste. It's seemed like they went in all in on the spice and forgot to add some of the Alfredo into it. The servers seemed like they all just came from a high school drama club, complete with dripping angst. It started with a poor host that failed to record the reservation and then starred at me like it was my problem. Then began a 45minute wait while open tables remained waiting to be bussed while the gang collected near the kitchen to chat. Finally the meal came and the price was higher than expected but the card came back without an itemized bill.
