two hot dogs with chili and cheese
    Kaci F.

A meal which also includes chips and a drink is around $9. I opted for just two dogs for $6 because I still had my drink from The Wheelhouse in the car. There was definitely more parking than I remember, which is a plus. My first impression was that the hot dogs were kind of heavy and had some weight to them. The wieners tasted grilled and you could tell they were all-beef. There was some kind of unique flavor with my first bite. I took a bite of slaw separately. The slaw was quite sweet and had a nice taste. So, whatever the seasoning was, it came from the chili. It wasn't bad, just unique, and I couldn't really put a finger on the flavor. It was almost cinnamonish, but in a good way. After eating at both of these places in the same day, I'm going to say that I liked Pepperoni Grill better. The overall weight, flavor, and blend of ingredients were spot on.

Went to WV for a hunting trip and part of that was hunting for a great pepperoni roll. Well, this place has my vote. I got a pie and a couple pepperoni rolls and man, it was all so good! They set the bar pretty high. The staff was very good too. Got 5 stars from me. Thanks guys! I'll be coming back my next visit.

    Pepperoni Rolls!

Don't overlook Pepperoni Grill because of its humble exterior. This is a treat for sure! We stopped in for a little snack and, of course, pepperoni rolls! A West Virginia staple. You can get them to go as they're prepackaged, or you can have PG warm them, topped with Parmesan dusting and yummy marinara. These are about the best pepperoni roll I've had. The dough is delicious and stuffed with tons of pepperoni and cheese. Highly recommend! We also decided to split the turkey and bacon panini. Wow! Toasty bread piled high with thick cut turkey, ample cheese, and fresh vegetables. For the price, I was really impressed with the quality. So so good! If I worked nearby, I would be getting one of those sandwiches for lunch daily. The owner, James, was upstairs near our table photographing a new pizza creation for their social media and noticed me taking photos as well. We got to talking and he explained the special pizza he'd created - roasted green tomatoes with cheese, caramelized onions and bacon atop their famous cauliflower crust. He was kind enough to bring us each a slice of the pizza and holy wow!!! I would normally not order a cauliflower crust but y'all! This is sensational!!! You really wouldn't know it was a healthier option by how delicious it was. They listed out the nutrition facts on the little specials board as well. This is great for those seeking a gluten free or low carb option. This is a hidden gem that deserves a stop! Grab a pepperoni roll and try their cauliflower crust pizza!

    Spinach and artichoke pizza

We were in Charleston on a work trip and found this place thanks to Yelp. Spinach and Artichoke pizza was phenomenal, and my husband really enjoyed his meat pizza. The personal size is HUGE and can easily feed two people. Really friendly staff and food was out super fast.

Wings were a great deal and delicious. Also had the cauliflower crust pizza and it was good as well.

This place has great food. It's a hole in the wall place, but these places always serve the best food. I got the buffalo chicken panini with banana peppers. The peppers made the whole sandwich pop with flavor. Definitely recommend you get these added to whatever you order from here. The service was great, and made me feel like I was at home. Very friendly. I liked that about this place. It's a bit small inside, but I noticed almost everyone gets their food to go. That's always a good sign, when all the locals eat there it's good. Their pizzas are fresh and tasty.

I was not impressed with the cauliflower pizza. Famous pepperoni rolls we ok. Wish they were freshly made and not pre-packaged.

Mushy pasta with sauce that tastes like from a jar. I think the food is really awful.

The service was fast and friendly but for the atmosphere, price and the fact they are trying to be trendy, the paper plates & plastic cutlery was a BIG NEGATIVE!! I know myself even if Melanac Hard Plastic for plates is okay, but I want true Silverware!! The sauce has a really Great flavor and the cheese pull was very nice on the pizza. The sauce served on top, a big big plus!! I live in Ripley, WV and drove 35 minutes one way to enjoy this meal, but the question is...would I do it again?? Probably NOT! I give them a 5 out of 5 on atmosphere and ambience they nailed that! I give them a 4 out 5 on Customer Service because the food came too fast!! I give them a 3 out 5 for the food, the sauce was perfect but everything else about taste and flavor was a hit and miss. The score might have been higher if I had left off the Knotty Boy Garlic Knots!! The beer though I tasted it wasnt bad but Im not a beer drinker, my hubby was very disappointed so thats 2 out of 5 stars and the tableware scores a zero!! We ordered a $15 rectangle Detroit pizza, which was absolutely superb. However, they serve such a flimsy, plastic knife and fork. You can barely cut through the pizza much less eat it! I am emphasizing "strongly" that the business invest in better plasticware. My friend had a Diet Coke that was served in a can with a straw and it wasn't very cold. They don't provide ice, which is also a bit of a problem for people who like cold soft drinks. Also ice is pretty much necessary in water and some people like to also put it in their white wines. Other than that, what a great little restaurant downtown, Charleston is lucky to have them

I quickly said, "medium rare". I like my fair share of redness in my beef. After a considerable wait, it arrived along with the fries. One bite in the burger and it was VERY obvious, it wasn't medium rare. In fact, I don't believe it could have more well done without being charred. It was sooo dry and the flavor was nonexistent. The fries were pretty good. When the server came to ask about everything, I told her that it was far from medium rare. She then said, "oh, I forgot about that". All in all it was probably the worst investment I've ever gotten with $16.
