I was very impressed with the service. My pet peeve is dirty dishes sitting in front of people and that did not happen! The wedding cake was delicious. White homemade cake with a light strawberry cream. My only suggestion would be to have had someone to serve all the pies. It was kind of awkward having to do it yourself. I definitely recommend Emily's for your next event.

They were helpful, responsive, and everything was clear and upfront. There were no surprise charges, or "gotchas". In fact they did several things beyond the scope of the contract without additional charges. More importantly, on the wedding day everything went perfectly. They gave us great advice on the set up of the tables, chairs, bar etc. They listened carefully to everything that was asked of them, made a couple of outstanding suggestions and dealt with the problems caused by strong gusts of wind at an outdoor venue with calm assurance. All of the food was incredible. The hor's d'ourves were fantastic, especially the brie and artichoke tarts, mini lobster rolls and tuna tacos. The mac and cheese in mini ramekins were also a huge hit. The dinners were equally delicious. I had the half chicken, which was served with a delicious polenta. It was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, moist with a crispy skin. Other sides were served family style and were all fantastic. The dessert was also superb. Each guest received a trio of mini desserts, each of which was delightful. We had several guests with food restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free). The servers made sure the restrictions were observed, and they made it a point to bring appropriate appetizers to those guests, which was a very nice touch. All of the guests raved about the food. The service was also first class. There were so many servers handling the passed hor's d'ourves that every guest had multiple chances to try each of the offerings. Service of the dinner was equally impressive. The venue is outdoors, and it is a bit of a hike from the kitchen tent to the dining area. Despite that, the guests were served quickly, and the food came to the table still hot. Finally, their prices are quite reasonable, especially given the outstanding quality of the food and service. A very good value.

PQ H, David C and Robert O's reviews were accurate. I've never dealt with someone as rude and…read moreunprofessional as owner Lauren. Communication was scattered from the start but I started planning months out, so I wasn't concerned. As the event got closer I requested one detail - a contact number for either Lauren (owner) or the delivery person. This seems like a standard request for a caterer. It becomes a more important detail when the phone number listed for Chanterelle to Go had never been answered (called prob 25-30X) and when it took 10-14 days to get a response back from the owners. After multiple unanswered emails and voicemails requesting a contact number, I finally posted on Facebook literally begging for a response. What I got was unbelievable. Lauren called me. I thought she might say, 'Hey, sorry, I've seen your emails and heard your voicemails but I've been slammed. Not an excuse, but here is the number you need xxxxxx. We'll see you tomorrow!" Simple. Problem solved. Nope! She called and started yelling at me. She told me she had been working overtime and she heard me calling and she was too busy to answer. She said I had no business requesting a contact number and how dare I call and email multiple times. I think she was trying to embarrass me??? I don't know. I truly don't know how you can speak to a customer the way she spoke to me, especially when I was literally ONLY asking for a contact number!!! If you're so busy you don't babe She was so rude I was terrified she just wouldn't show up with the food day of. The food did show up. On time. It was good. Sad that the high quality of the food didn't even begin to make up for the stress and shock of working with Lauren. I would 100% not recommend using them if you have an event that is important to you and if you have high expectations for how to communicate with customers.

We can in no way recommend them as prepared to handle a wedding…read more Chanterelle To Go's communications with us were terse and sparse. Here was the email we recieved a week and half before our wedding when we reached out to inquire why they had not responded in over two weeks, "...as I was going to let you know we were no longer interested in working your event. I believe you took our food catering service as a wedding planning service." [italics mine] Instead we used the Whole Foods in Hadley. Their staff were friendly, accommodating, and professional. We got many, many compliments on the food, it was about 1/4th the price Chanterelle To Go would have charged while also providing a wider variety for our guests. It featured some local products and seasonal foods. We cannot recommend them highly enough.
