The small roti is very reasonable and filling for lunch. Their spice levels aren't too crazy, so go ahead and order a spicy. And if that's no enough, as for some hot sauce on the side. The flavour of the curries are very good - I had the boneless chicken and my friend tried pumpkin + chickpeas. We both loved out meals and for less than $6 a person, it's a great deal! I went for the ackee & saltfish dinner with dumplings, Rice&Peas with Callaloo, and a large serving of chicken soup (soup of the day). Overall the food was enjoyable, a tad oily on the rice&peas and the ackee&saltfish portion, but the food was tasty and quite enjoyable (though I lowkey wished it was spicier). I really like the dumplings, it reminds me of the donut sticks you'd get when eating congee, except these dumplings are dense and delicious. It's a solid place, it definitely merits repeat visits!

I went for my usual go-to Jamaican food which is jerk chicken, rice and coleslaw. The serving was pretty good for a lunch portion and the price was around $7-8. The Food: Meh. Not good, not bad. The chicken was flavourful but the rice (usually my favourite part) was wayyyy too dry. Even with the oxtail gravy the rice was not enjoyable. My favourite was the coleslaw. I've never had coleslaw with raisins in it but it was delicious! Would I return? Probably not. Well, maybe for the coleslaw. Besides that, my quest for the perfect jerk chicken and rice and peas continues.

The best things on their menu are their spicy beef patty (just awesome) and their fried chicken and shrimp. The jerk pork skewer is so juicy i loved the meat! The smokiness on everything is on point, very reasonable prices. My biggest issue was the total lack of salt on their jerk chicken, jerk wings and the jerk sauce itself. The sauces will taste like raw spices unless you add salt to enhance the flavors. The meat was completely devoid of salt, this was consistent with their other sauces too. The oxtail is meh, needed more salt, flavor and needed to be cooked down further. It's not deep enough in terms of flavors for me. I make oxtails at home from scratch so I'm really picky about this dish. I do recommend this place only for the items I mentioned above - show the locals some love.

Problem is I come in saying I ordered from skip and.,, blah blah blah. What order. There's no order. I show them Charlie's hurontario placed and paid. Blah blah blah. Saying finally acknowledgment of order but sayings its "completed". I'm like what that does mean? Did somebody pick it up? They're like yeah. I'm like no. I didn't pick it up. I doubt anybody else did. They go on about how I clicked. A button and completed it. I'm like no that didn't happen an doubt it's even possible. I'm a customer. Not a driver. I ordered, paid and here to pick it up simple. Then a customer gets in on the conversation. Meanwhile I'm clam the whole time. He goes absurd and crazy telling me relax. I'm like I'm relaxed. What did I do wrong? I order , paid , what's the status of my food? They continue to act ignorant and yell and try me to relax. I reiterated what did I do wrong? They finally agree and that I I'm in the right and my food will be in the way. Wow. Couldn't say that from the start? Without being verbally attacked and saying you're right and I'm wrong? So I wait no words. Drivers are coming and every interaction is negative. Literally. I waited patiently and my I'm comes in and like wtf? I'm like don't worry relax it is what it is. By this point I'm not even sure if they acknowledge that my food is coming. Even the clown who argued in the business behalf starts complaining about his order. Wow. Disgusting. Totally ignorant being verbally attacked by both the business and and a customer ignorantly. Dude. I was so close to calling the police and I've never done that before. So after more customers and drivers coming in and basically being told to eff off. I got. My food. An hour and ten minutes after being ordered on line. I grab my food and ask what did I do wrong? And they go off on me ignorantly and I explain didn't do anything wrong. All you did was wrong in exquisite detail. And guesss what this wasn't even the first time. Ugly ugly and worst worst business interaction of all time. Wooooooooooooooooooooow.

I opted for medium pepper and it was just the perfect heat level complementing the goat and roti.
