My wife and I came here about 5-6 months ago to get our VO2 max tested. We heard about this place…read morethrough some of our running friends who are serious athletes. If this place is good enough for them then I'm sure it's good enough for me (an average runner). Like all other places for VO2 max testing you are hooked up to a heart rate monitor as well as a gas mask looking thing and will run on a super treadmill until you can't run any faster or harder. What set this place apart from other VO2 max testing location is all the information you receive after the test. Richard who owns the place and conducts the test is very direct and straight forward. Some may say he is a little rough around the edges but he is honest and can be funny. Richard will give you the information and explain it. He will also talk to you about your goals and how you should train to get your goals but will stop short of giving you a training plan. I loved that he spent a good amount of time going over the information and making sure we understood it. The information we received was very informative and helpful. While this place is definitely not the cheapest place to get tested it is definitely the best place because of the valuable information. Do you want to know how valuable and helpful this information is? It helped my wife knock off 18 minutes from her marathon time and got her to qualify for the Boston Marathon! Thanks Richard!

I've told her that I've done video workouts before, thinking I was doing everything right, but then she taught me the correct form and it was a game changer. I'm feeling better in my clothes, happier after a workout, and so glad that I found her!! Highly recommend Stacy Schwartz Personal Training.

If something doesn't feel right, communicate it so they can modify it. I went into this just looking to get healthier. I was having shoulder pain over the past year and felt a lot weaker on that side. Since starting my adventure at Evolve, I no longer suffer from shoulder pain and my "problem shoulder" is almost as strong as my good shoulder now. My range of motion has improved too! Kenton really preaches a balanced approach...working out, resting, and fueling your body with healthy foods. In my pursuit of becoming healthier, I've lost about 16 pounds and went from a snug size 12 to a loose size 8. They offer group classes, individual and group training. And when you commit to a monthly plan, there are also discounts! Who doesn't love a good discount? Scheduling is also flexible when you do individual or group training. You can also do 30 or 60 minute sessions. If you're ready to make a change and become healthier, I definitely recommend Evolve Fitness Nashville.

I tried Chonburi Muay Thai and that was nearly five years ago; I have been with Bruce since! Bruce is from Thailand, raised amongst the true Muay Thai culture and he remains loyal to those roots. Additionally, this fosters a cohesion with the students and the atmosphere is more familial in feel. As a female, I have always found Muay Thai to be empowering and my skills have been much improved since training with Bruce. This has fostered a confidence that is priceless. I really urge you to try out Chonburi. The first class is free so there is absolutely nothing to lose!

Very friendly environment and a big facility to learn in. I recommend training with Kru Bruce to any adults and children wanting to learn, from beginners to advanced practitioners! My first time there I was immediately impressed with the gym and Bruces methods of teaching a beginner like myself. Kids classes are usually held in the front half of the gym. I highly recommend bringing your little ones to learn Muay Thai, as it's not only proven to help with physical health but improves psychological well being in young children as well. Learning to have confidence and to be independent in decision making but also learning team work along the way. 10/10 will not be training anywhere else as long as CMT is here!
