First visit was awesome! High energy and great work-out. Very friendly staff! Even though I am older I felt welcome and now energized.

Professional trainers that ACTUALLY cater to your personalized physical heatlh needs!…read more My previous trainer in Chicago was actually overweight which made me feel like, "If he's asking me to do these things, shouldn't he practice what he preaches?!" So when I moved to Nashville, I ventured out to find a new personal trainer in Nashville, independent of large franchised gyms. When I first walked into LEAN, I was pretty nervous. You know walking into a gym with fit people and me walking with my gut hanging out made me feel really uncomfortable. But all the trainers aren't here to judge, they're here to actually make you feel better by losing weight and making you stronger and even provide educational classes on nutrition on occasion. I've been going to LEAN for the past few months and they really know how to motivate you to go one step further that I probably wouldn't be able to do on my own. For me and probably like many others, I lacked the motivation to push myself to my limit, hindered by negative attitude. The trainers at LEAN positively motivate and encourage you to do your best and whip you up into shape. If your New Year's resolution is to get in shape in Nashville, go to LEAN personal training!

I'm normally not one to write reviews but working with Scott has truly transformed my health and confidence. In addition to eating healthy foods, I'm in the best shape of my life thanks to Scott. He pushes me to workout harder than I would alone, he makes sure I have the right form so the exercises are both safe and effective, and he's constantly changing the exercises and increasing the endurance so that my body continues to improve and we meet my goals. I was never someone who liked working out but honestly I've reached a point where I not only enjoy it but look forward to it, and that's thanks to Scott. I've lost 25 pounds and feel significantly stronger throughout my entire body. I can do exercises I was not able to do before (and would not have attempted) such as dead lifting 175 pounds. So if you are wondering if a trainer is worth the time and money, in my experience, I would say that it absolutely is. Personal training is a serious time and money commitment, however, you will achieve things you never thought you could. I would highly recommend working with Lean, specifically Scott McCaa. Over the 8 months I've been going there all of the trainers I've interacted with have been friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Thank you Scott!

It is open from 5AM to 9PM, with a great deal of its traffic coming in during early morning and during dinner time. If I get the chance to come during the day without everyone else being here, then that is the most ideal situation. I enjoy swimming while my husband does weights. It is a nice place to relax, but the swimming area can be a zoo when school is out during the hotter months. Between swim lessons and the outdoor pool open, it can be overwhelming. I just stick to the swim lanes and call it a day. I think overall the facility is clean and customer service are friendly. Parking can be a nightmare, but you can always find a space. You might have to walk, but it is what it is.

The facilities are clean, people are driven, and you feel in good company working on your fitness. I enjoyed finding a rhythm with like-minded people, and the option for some coffee at the end after a ridiculously early workout session. The workers were always polite and even helped me with a few issues here and there faced by typical gym-goers: a lost locked, a door dinged in the parking lot, etc. Everyone was extremely understanding and thoughtful in the midst of my in-the-moment distress. The facilities here are extensive: a whole power rack and weight room on the base floor, a more cardio-focused room on the second, another "express gym" area on the second, and even an outdoor free and power rack area outside with punching bags on turf. I really love that they have pretty new, innovative machinery implementing relatively immersive AI or gamnified exercise. It's both exciting and fun, especially when you're not the biggest fan of redundant activity like me. I love seeing all people of different generations and backgrounds workout out here. It makes me feel like everyone belongs.

Luckily, we were only 10 minutes from Gym 5, and my older sister knew someone who worked there. The front desk staff was super helpful and welcoming--they made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us a quick tour. The gym's setup is fantastic! Cardio is upstairs, while everything from weights to outdoor rec and boxing setups is downstairs. I especially loved the outdoor workout space--it's such a nice touch. Studio owner Stephanie has been part of Nashville's pilates community for years, and it's been fun to watch her build out Frame over the last 2-3 years, continuously adding new teaching talent, class offerings (jumpboards, 55+, strength, etc.) and studio upgrades. Frame is an approachable environment for all fitness levels and a great place to start your pilates journey. After attending other staple studios in Nashville, I ultimately joined Frame when it opened in September 2023. I was already a fan of Stephanie's instruction and several other familiar instructors joined her there as well. Having now taken 300+ classes, it's been a highlight to see other regulars who joined at the very beginning still showing up on a weekly basis.
