Have taken my far here 3 or 4 times and they have said they can't service it and to take it to bmw dealership and every time I go guess what, they tell me it's simple issues that if they took there time and actually looked through they would have found. I will never go back here. They dont know what they are doing. I brought my car there because it had a stutter. They told me it was a crank shift sensor issue after my car had been there for 3 days. So i allowed them to fix it. Paid all the money owed a few days later started experiencing the same issue, I called and said I would bring it back but at this point I didnt even trust to bring my car back. I brought my car to a trusted mechanic just to say I have a starter issue and the thing pep boys replaced didnt even need to get replaced. Made the unfortunate mistake of having all four of my tires replaced at the Pep Boys location in Bordentown. The completely incompetent "mechanic" working on my vehicle severely damaged my rims. Not only that, but the tires were covered in the bead sealer which should have been cleaned off. The stickers for the tires were also left on the tread. The equally incompetent "service advisor" decided to charge me for a warranty that I explicitly declined as well. The very next day I noticed that one of my tires was low on air, so I refilled it to see what would happen. The following day the tire was back down to about 15psi after being filled to 35psi. So, I returned to the Bordentown location and they REFUSED to look at the tire and fix there mistake. I had to go to another location to have their terrible work corrected. If you have any sense in your mind DO NOT come to this absolutely pathetic establishment. read more

I've been coming here for at least a year. Service has always been good. And so has the communication. However, this past time the total amount was completely unexpected. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. I received a call saying that my air filters were dirty and asked if I wanted to replace them. They sent me pictures, so I agreed. I assumed it would be between $50 & $60. To my surprise, they charged me $132.00 for two standard filters. $40 for labor, $62 for the standard, and $30 for the cabin filter. And on top of my total bill, they added a "Shop Fee (misc items)" of $15.18. WTF is that for? Is that a new standard fee on every bill? For instance, a coupon for a $20 oil change is now going to cost customers $35.18 before tax? read more

I had a slight shaking problem with my 2016 Camry and I took the car to Pep Boys in Bordentown. Daniel and Nicholas and the crew analyzed the problem and fixed it perfectly. The problem was going to force me to trade in a car I liked, and I am more than pleased that I am able to continue driving the car confidently. ZERO STARS! I wish I could leave ZERO stars! these people are disgusting! They rip you off, all their prices are inflated and the manager or older heavy set man who seems to be in charge is downright rude and belligerent. I brought in my car for a simple brake pad change. After leaving it there for an evaluation they called me and said there was some kind of leak and it was gonna cost me $1100. I said I wouldn't be able to afford that and they said "ok well you can't drive it you'll have to call a tow truck to come get it". I was very confused about that because I had just driven my car there. Yes my pads were worn but my car was not disabled. When I went to get my car we realized they had flushed all my brake fluid. After confronting the rude manager he kept saying it wasn't possible that we drove the car there and telling us he doesn't know what's wrong with it. After raising hell he suddenly says "I can put some break fluid in there" and what do you know? I was able to drive it again. And I took it right on over to SAJID at YARDVILLE AUTOMOTIVE CENTER at 4165 south broad street. Super honest and reliable and fair! Stay away from pep boys unless you just feel like wasting time and money. You've been warned! read more

I'm disappointed in this place. In the past, I had great service. Today, I took my car in for a battery replacement and I had a nail in my tire on brand new tires I just bought from them. They charged me for the most expensive battery they had ($222), WITHOUT ASKING, and didn't even replace my tire under warranty. They put a patch on it instead when I maybe drove 100 miles on the thing or less. I do not recommend this Pep Boys. read more

The worst of the worst. I hate going to Pep Boys because by circumstance I always get bad service but this was just awful.
