From start to finish Robert was great. Professional but friendly and honest with us. Got our car fixed within the time they said they would. Overall great experience. We appreciate you guys! read more

Took our car to pepboys last week due to a loud scraping sound when turning and got the car back 2 days later and we felt disappointed and cheated when we got home because the scraping sound and loudness is still there after paying a huge $1434. Not sure if they test drive it and what sound they hear but now I also hear a knock sound everytime I accelerate from a full stop. When they lifted the car they found the rear DriveShaft Carrier Support Bearing to be bad but they changed the whole DriveShaft Assembly. Looks like there's no quality check done before they can send the car out. Mark said there's a little sound left and I don't know what sound it is...it's not an excuse. A little sound left means they did not do the right job. I even asked if there is a discount and mark said no. Pepboys do give a 10 percent discount to Military and First Responders and they should proactively ask every clients for it. read more

Your employee Mark did an excellent job in helping me get the best care for my truck. He really took the time to explain the maintenance of my vehicle, cause I'm constantly on the road for my job as a caregiver! Great customer service and on the spot help without long waits. Thanks for making me a priority! read more

So I went to Pep Boys first thing this morning at 8:15 for an alignment for my trucking . Waited almost till 9:50 just so they could tell me my tire was too wide. You would think they would know. when they went out to my truck and got all the information that that it was to wide . read more

Worse customer service , the guy with trimmed head doesn't have the manners and doesn't know how to talk to customers, extremely disrespectful, extremely not fit for the front desk, not only he is not professional, but also in a personal level , low mannered and the tone and the way he spoke with me and customers before me is a loss for PepBoys. read more

Went in to have my tires checked for air and they were very friendly and immediately served me. The attendant checked the PSI on my dash and let me know what they should be. He filled my tires and sent me on my way. read more

So back in March I took my car to Pep Boys to have my brakes done, this was the first time I have ever chosen Pep Boys to do my brakes. Once they were done and I got in my car, I realized I was still pressing my brakes all the way down to the floor to get my car to stop, so it felt like to me that my brakes hadn't been done at all. Pep Boys contacted me for a review and I gave them a bad review on Google. I was then contacted by the Pep Boys in Rialto where I went to have my brakes done. They let me know they would investigate my allegations and get back to me. A couple of days later the front desk person I dealt with Jennifer, contacted me to come in so they could tighten my brakes. I scheduled an appointment in April and went back in so they could fix my brakes. I sat there for about 2 hours thinking they would fix the problem. Jennifer comes up to me and tells me that 3 mechanics looked at my car and that the brakes were installed correctly. I let her know there was never a doubt in my mind that the brakes weren't installed correctly and that based on my review and the corporate office contacting me that I had brought my car in so that they could tighten up my brakes the way they should have been done the first time. She tells me they don't do that and that no mechanic shop does that. I explained to her I have been to several places in the past and have had my brakes done like Midas and California Auto repair and never when I left have I felt as unsatisfied as Pep Boys made me feel. I also let her know she was talking to someone who has 3 mechanics in her family and that Pep Boys were supposed to bleed my brakes so they would be tight. Jennifer then suggested that I could go to another Pep Boys, which further irritated me because I felt like, why should I go to another Pep Boys when the one here in Rialto, CA should have done the job right the first time. I then let her know I would be posting another review about the bad service I received at Pep Boys in Rialto. With the price they charged me, I could have taken my car over to the high school and let the auto body class do a better job than this and it wouldn't have cost me as much as I paid at Pep Boys. The real sad thing about this bad experience is now I am going to have to come off of more money to take myself to a brake shop who is going to do my brakes right. So I end my story with this advice, because I don't blame this bad experience on all Pep Boys, but do not take your car to be serviced at Pep Boys in Rialto. Worse place to bring your car I took my car in because my check engine light turned on they said they had fixed the problem I paid $300 and my check engine light is still on almost a week later I took it to another shop and they told me there has been no work done to my car. That my check engine light was still on because they never fixed what was wrong with my car. Giovanni was the mechanic at pep boys who "fixed" my car. Stay away from this place. read more

Hmm charge twice as much for alignment and you cant rotate the tire for free :/ to bad I had to do this on lunch and couldn't shop. Nice enough though. read more

The worst place to get you vehicle serviced! My daughter took her vehicle here and not only did they over charge her with brakes and rotors but the slopply & lazy mechanic left her driver seat dirty with grease & dirt but her seat was never even covered to begin with! On top of her driver side panels & car displays knobs/gears/ brake clutch being greased by a inconsiderate mechanic that gets paid $200 in labor plus the bill was outrageously priced! As a woman places like this take advantage! Then they never pick up the phone lines & called my daughter 4 hours later to say her parts are late & mechanic hadn't taken his lunch! This place should be shut down for unethical practice! Not very professional at all! Reporting this place to the BBB!!! I didn't want to give them any stars! Just don't go here they are vey unprofessional!!!! read more

Do not go here unless you like getting cheated. SKETCHY SKETCHY SKETCHY! Had a flat then limped into the parking lot. Went inside and I was quoted the buy 3 get one free and on the computer monitor it said 88.00 for one tire so I purchased 4. So when all was said and done I get the receipt and the actually charged me 700 dollars for the tires and then told me I could not get the military discount. So I got screwed out of 150 dollars. Biggest ripoff ever. I should have known since most pep boys service centers have a history especially in the inland empire. The picture shows what I have should have paid. UPDATE: come to find out the extra charges were from a wheel alignment that I didn't approve and then the work wasn't done. The area manager refunded me the money for work not accomplished. read more

Brian was unprofessional. I had an unpleasant experience at this location. The customer service I received was not acceptable and it was all due to the bizarre conversation that the cashier at this location began with me. Very negative tone and unnecessary topic to have with a stranger. I believe professionalism to be a trait that an individual who is expected to uphold core customer values should already have. Unfortunately I cannot say that for the individual who assisted me here. -4 stars Other than my experience with Brian the store has what one needs. It was also well organized. They even carry Chemical Guys products! +5 stars read more

Went in for maintenance and was greeted by a lovely woman (I didn't catch her name but it was around 2pm on 3/11/23) she was very patient with me as I didn't have all the information prepared. She later called with updates on the car and was very kind, and relayed questions I had over the phone to the mechanic. They worked diligently and gave me quality work I can appreciate. Will continue showing my support as a consumer here. read more

I went in to get my rotors and breaks inspected and replaced. The estimated wait time was roughly 2 hours, it ended up being longer than the estimated wait time. They had to go and pick up my parts. I had 4 kids under the ages of 9. Before it got past 5pm, PepBoys staff members brought food for me and my kids. It was sooo helpful and so kind. I couldn't drive to a restaurant because my vehicle was inside the garage and I didn't feel comfortable with walking with 4 kids to a fast food est. I am totally happy with my repairs and even most happy for their customers service Also, I have considered going back for the self serve English Tea and my kids said that they loved the donuts . Definitely recommend PepBoys of Rialto. Thank you again and my SUV works great (days later.) read more

This site appears to be under new management. Previously we have had great results here, but today...Not so much! We had an appointment at 11:00 this AM to get the tires replaced, alignment and oil change. We Dropped the car off at 10:45AM. At 1:30 PM Mario called me from the store to tell me they had just put the car up on the rack to start servicing. First thing...he tells me they cannot do the oil change because the oil drain plug was slightly loose. WTF? Does that not mean we need the oil change more?!?!?! I guess becasue we had a coupon for $10.00 they looked for a reason to NOT do the service. I do highly do not recommend using this location any more! read more

UBER DRIVERS are welcome here to have your vehicle inspection done and priced reasonably. Called in asking if they do inspection and got a friendly yes and quoted the cost of $19.99. Great! So I scheduled for an afternoon appointment. Jennifer greeted me when I arrived and she had the inspection sheet ready. Told to sit in the waiting area which was very comfortable with a movie playing and noticed they had snacks on a table underneath the TV. Jennifer handled the inspection and it was done in a short amount of time. I was pleasantly impressed as a customer. I believe this PEP BOYS location does inspection for LYFT as well. All in all, I walked away as a happy customer. Thank you Jennifer for your professional service at Pep Boys! read more

After an extremely dreadful day at the Pep Boys off of Foothill, I decided to drive about two more miles to come to this one. (Keep in mind, this Pep boys only services your car, there's no store) Anyway, the employee here was more pleasant than the other store as soon as I walked in and she got my car in within 10-15 minutes of my arrival. Everyone here is very nice. I got 4 ties for my car. It is clean in the waiting room. I have had them rebalanced and a tire flat repaired, each time, very courteous and got the job done. Went in to check if I could get a tire patched which was unlikely but wanted to see nonetheless. First customer right when they opened, worker stated it would be 10-15 mins until his mechanic came in and then it would get checked. An hour passed and no on had the decency in that entire time to let us know they needed to finish up cars from the day before or that it would take longer. Still I waited. About an hour and a half now went to ask and said I would be next in 10 mins. 30 mins later they take my car check it in 5 mins and state all my tires need to be changed out. Let them know I wasted 2 hours waiting for them to check it and now I surely didn't have time since my entire morning was wasted on waiting for a simple check of one tire that wasn't even attached to the car. Ended up going to a mom and pop shop down the way. Waited 5 mins. They checked it out and have me options. Never coming here or recommending any of these shops. read more

Several months ago the entire crew was transferred to other locations and a new crew was brought in. Since that time the quality of service deteriorated drastically. I had my oil changed and the oil check light came on after 1000 miles. The next time i asked the manager and he said they always reset it. 800 miles later the check oil light came on again. I complained and nothing happened. The third time the manager said they couldn't reset all cars but they would try. (they have in the past) When i got in my car the check oil light came on, my seat was moved, the radio station was changed. I'm beginning to wonder if my oil was actually changed. I waited and waited and noticed my car was back in the parking lot. Finally, they called my name i paid and left. I will not return. I want to give it 0 stars but it appears i can't. read more
