Horrible service. I called this morning at 8 o'clock wanting to get a quote for 2 tires and front-end ailment. Spoke with Mr. Larry about the quote. He did have good phone service he gave me a good price for everything. I asked were they busy. He said no they just had one car and that was an appointment. I got there at 8:30, walked in and the gentleman was helping someone else. I didn't know if he was the guy I spoke with earlier. I wasn't greeted, wasn't told that he would be with me in just a minute. I stood in front of him for about 10 minutes. Still nothing. Apparently, the computer was running slow an he was waiting for the help desk to pick up the phone to help with the computer problem. I got ready to walk out and that's when he said he'll be right with me. Ummmm! No you won't sir. I'm thinking to myself. I looked to my right and saw Marvis tires nextdoor. I called them got a quote and decided to go there. Just as I was talking to them, a young man asked to move my car to the back. I told him it was stick shift and could he drive one. He quickly said just a little bit. I SAID HELL NAW you won't mess this clutch up. I drove to the back and the guy at the desk told me to just park it for right now. Ummm!!! for right now? Nope I left and went next door. I mean I was told they wasn't busy and to get there you tell me to just park my car for right now. No thank you Pep Boys. read more

I brought my car in because it was making a noise while driving and ended up paying about $1300 for repairs they said would fix it. Picked the car up and the exact same noise is still there. No change at all. On top of that, a brand new issue started after the repair that never happened before I brought it in. I went back to ask about it and was told that basically the entire staff was fired or transferred and that I should try a different location. That's not exactly reassuring after spending that kind of money. I also got completely different answers from different people about maintenance. One person told me I needed something done right away and another said I wouldn't need it for like 90k miles. Just didn't feel like anyone was on the same page. I contacted them early in the day to ensure that their facility could address my need. They said they could and I would have to make an appointment. I have an issue leaking coolant so wanted to resolve that. I showed up on time and reminded them of the work I wanted to get done which was the coolant check system and an oil change. They told me it'd be an hour. I asked if they had Internet he didn't know but I was able to logon and get onto the Internet and do some work while I was sitting there great. An hour and a half later they told me I was done so I said did they fix the coolant issue and he said well we topped off your fluids. They did not work on the coolant system at all. I still have a leak and they also did not top off my fluids. All they did was do an oil change and then did not reset the sensor so I don't know when the next time I need one. I don't know why it took an hour and a half for an oil change but for a good part of the time two guys were just sitting around doing nothing and talking about going to get something to eat. I will never go to this place again. They did not value my time nor provide a useful service. I'm just hoping that the oil change was at least done well. read more

Antonio was extremely rude on the phone and degrading. Horrible horrible company and location. Was promised a refund and now dealing with an empty promise. Had to call customer service to and they really wasn't a help to. I don't write reviews but they didn't even offer a free oil change or something for the inconvenience. It's ridiculous to say that you open at 7am and don't actually open until 9am! Went in to replace headlight bulbs. Extremely Rude! They quoted me at $410 2 hours after I brought the car in.. (for HEADLIGHT BULBS!) Went on YouTube and bought the bulbs for $20 and replaced them myself. Took 10 minutes. I've had my car worked on there before however they have a serious issue with their lack of communication. The mechanics, from my past experience, are amazing, yet it's the front desk team that do not properly return calls when they promise and you have no idea what's going on with your vehicle. If you have to go through a warranty company they will take their time with your vehicle. My advice, go somewhere where you will get the proper service and communication. read more

Left my car for a punctured tire at 11 AM, didn't get it back until 6 PM. When I got my car back, there was a Wendy's reciept laying on my middle console dated for that same day at 1 PM... I don't go to Wendy's... When handed to an employee, they said that it wasn't possible because they are not allowed to do that. Low and behold my dash cam was on the full time, where I got to watch back his little luch break in my car. He returned to the shop with his meal and sat in my car for ten minutes while he was enjoying his food and talking on the phone to a friend. At this point, it was around 1 PM and my car had already ben serviced, though I was never notified that it was complete. Around 5 PM I called to ask if it was complete, and the employee said it was. Overall terrible service, and you can't trust them with your cars. They will take them to do personal activities and will forget to let you know when your car is ready. I had an alternator issue, these guys fixed it but put the front end of my car on so poorly, it clearly doesn't align with the rest of the vehicle. They actually used glue on parts they broke but couldn't put back on. When I complained to the Pep Boys national customer service line, they put me on with the manager of the place, who at first hung up on me and then dodged my calls. This was more than $1,000 in repairs and they couldn't even put it back together. I don't live in Atlanta, I was driving through but I will never, ever go to a Pep Boys again. 5 stars hands down. It is hard to find an auto shop with great prices and professionalism. This is one of those places that has both. I got 4 news tires on my car and had great timing to catch a deal. Buy 3, get 1 free. The tires had great reviews and a 65k mike warranty. The service and professionalism I experienced from the staff at Pep Boys was incredible. They communicated everything to me so clearly and kindly. They ordered me a free Lyft there and back from work since I dropped my car off in the early morning. Pep Boys has a partnership with Lyft apparently so if you drop your car, they can get you where you need to go no problem. My experience was easy, the car runs great, and I am a happy customer. I stopped in Pep Boys this evening after rolling over a screw and getting a flat tire. I was hoping to have the tire repaired, which unfortunately couldn't happen due to the supplies not being on hand. The manager here was extremely helpful and made sure to get me back on the road in the safest way possible. I had already reinflated the tire and was about to leave as the leak was slow. He strongly advised us against it due to the possibility of the screw becoming dislodged in transit and put the donut on for us at no cost. The team there was already pretty busy, and it was nearing the end of their work day, so I really appreciate them making sure we got on our way in the safest way possible. read more

I received excellent service to make sure I was good to get back on the road. Special shoutout to the manager who took the call and assured me he could help me out so close to closing. Unprofessional, late, never answers the phone, can't call and let you know when your vehicle is finished, also can't seem to finish your car on the days you've scheduled an appointment for it. I got a tire replaced here before as well and they sent me to 4 other locations because apparently they didn't the device to reset the TPMS system. Just rude and I will never go back again. Danny/Daniel claims himself to be the highest paid and most knowledgeable tire guy in all of Atlanta but he is in fact the biggest scam artist in Atlanta. Dont walk- RUN from this place. I went to them in distress after hitting a pothole down the street. He wasn't friendly and I only used them as they were next to the pothole. (After meeting Daniel I wouldn't be surprised if he created the pot hole.) He told me all my tires are different sizes and then put a 255/45 tire on my car knowing that all other 3 tires were different sizes. When I asked him about this he had a whole attitude and story about the show rooms and BMW manufacturing rules and how he had to put the wrong size on or he would've turned me away and I had plenty of time to think. He actually said word for word "I did not point a gun to your head and make you decide to put the tire on" He talks in circles to confuse you. He then said he knows I hit several nails and have constant problems with tires. He is aggressive and rude. After going to mavis and Discount Tires AND BMW I learned I was scammed. Danny will tell you Mavis is the family dollar of tire shops but at least they are friendly and HELPFUL and care about your wellbeing. Danny most likely has a select few customers that would refer him but unfortunately the air pressure in his head has gotten too much to be polite to any new customers. He even over charged me from the agreed rate and I had to call for my $30 refund. From start to finish the worst tire experience I've been to in 30 years. I walked away spending $500 on one tire from pep boys that then led to me having to get 3 new tires at $700 from any other tire shop. read more

When they pulled my car out the shop I noticed my back taillight was out, CB and his team fixed that too! This place is a disaster in every way. I made an appointment at 2:30 to get 4 new tires. It's 6:15 and I've been sitting in their dilapidated waiting room which has really poor Air Conditioning. I'm addition to being incredibly slow, they are rude. They broke an air pressure sensor in my vehicle and now I have to come back. I've seen 3 customers get upset with the awful service and leave before they even started on their cars. It is an awful business. read more

Almost a week after having my oil changed here, I get a "Low oil pressure -- Stop vehicle immediately" alert from my car. Pep Boys had forgotten to even replace the oil cap in my car, causing all of the oil in it to leak ALL OVER my engine. Oil even leaked down the front of my car. See the photos! Had to have my car TOWED back to them. Their lack of communication caused delays in the oil replacement and cleaning, prolonging my problem. Once I finally got my car back, they told me they had cleaned everything, but that wasn't true. A week after the repair/replacement, I'm STILL smelling the burning oil every time I run my car or turn on the air conditioning, and leftover oil is STILL running down the front of my car. I will NEVER have work done here again. read more

These folks were not friendly, were downright rude multiple times. I stopped interacting, and turned it over to my better half, who loves everyone, and she had the same experience. They kept the car for three weeks, and we started calling every few days, until they lied and said the car was ready and they had called us. They had not. Im gonna get straight to the point. I called this location and spoke with someone about getting an oil change and diagnosis. I chose Pep Boys because in California I have always received excellent service. I explained to the person I was speaking with on the phone that my hood latch did not work and they would have to put it on a car lift to get the hood open like the other mechanics that have worked on my car. I was assured that the mechanics would be able to handle the task. I showed up to my appointment 10 mins early and spoke with the agent at the counter, I had to re-explain the situation with my hood because apparently there wasn't a note of any sorts. I was told to leave my keys and that they would have both done in about an hour. I left and walked to get something down the street and was gone for about 30-40 mins. When I arrived back there were 2 mechanics in the lobby waiting for me and once I came in, one mechanic asked me " How am I supposed to get the hood open?" I told him that im not a mechanic, every other mechanic was able to get the hood open so why are you having a problem. He didn't give me an answer. He went back into the garage with the other mechanic and the counter agent. 10 mins later the counter agent comes to me and says " my guys can't do it." I asked for an explanation and all that I was given was that it was a liability issue for his guys. He then follows up with the $99 diagnostic was complete. I was infuriated because I told them that I needed both done and if one couldn't be done then they should have called me once they realized they couldn't get the latch open to see if I wanted to proceed with the diagnostic, I was not given that choice and was charged the $99. I didn't really care about the diagnostic, getting the oil change was my main concern and i stressed that to the employee once I dropped the car off. Once they gave me the readout of the diagnostic, I had no idea what it was saying since im not a mechanic. The agent assured me that if I take it to any mechanic they will be able to use it to fix my car, and that I wouldn't need to get another diagnostic from that mechanic. He was dead wrong. 3 days later I took the car to a auto repair close to where I live by in the camp creek area. I showed them the documents and they said they can't do anything with them due to Pep Boys diagnostic report was just recommendations on what could be wrong. They would need to do their own diagnostics to see what the actual problems are. Long story short, I was completely cheated out of my $99 for a diagnostic that given the circumstances I wasn't given the choice to confirm that I wanted to follow thru with and isn't useful at a place that actually does transmission work. I don't know why a place like pep boys that doesn't do transmission work does diagnostics on transmissions. This was the worst auto experience I have ever had and I will not be doing business with pep boys ever again. read more

I honestly thought the man behind the counter was joking with me by the way he spoke to me. I pull in and ask a man in the bay if I needed to see a clerk or if he could assist me with my flat tire, he pointed to the service counter (said nothing) and when i went inside, the man behind the counter didn't even greet me or ask if he could help me. When i made my presence known and asked if I could get my tire fixed, he looked at me and laughed and said "nope I'm too busy, try someone else". Went in to get my tires changed, already brought my own tires. After an hour had passed they still had not even started. It took 3 and a half hours, even when having an appointment. When we went to pay they did not stick to the price they has given us on the phone, $120. They gave us $4 discount on a $200 job for the inconvenience. Not worth it. read more
