When I went outside after the service, I immediately noticed a lug nut was missing. After looking closer, I saw that the wheel stud itself was broken - which I know for a fact was not damaged prior to the repair. When I contacted the mechanic about it, he did not deny breaking it and asked me to go purchase a new stud and lug nut, which I did right away. He said he would return to install it, but after that point communication became very unreliable. I texted several times with no response. When he finally replied "yes" to confirm he would complete the repair, he still never followed through. Since then, my messages have gone unanswered. On top of that, he told me the broken stud was "no big deal" and that he knows someone who drives around with multiple broken studs - which was extremely concerning to hear from someone responsible for vehicle safety. I don't feel comfortable driving with a broken wheel stud, and the situation has been left unresolved. I wish this could have been a positive review, but based on the lack of accountability, poor communication, and safety concerns, it cannot be.

Regardless, he leaned in close to me and whispered "you're very pretty." I didn't respond, and he leaned in closer-- "did you hear me? I said you're pretty." and just stared at me while I was so clearly uncomfortable. When i came back for my car the next day, he greeted me by looking me up and down, and asking me who I was texting. This whole interaction was so highly inappropriate. If i come to get my car worked on, I expect that. nothing more. When i looked up reviews on this place, it seems i am not the only woman who has had this experience. On top of this, they quoted me $600 to fix the Vtech solenoid assembly. When I took my car to another mechanic, they were incredibly respectful and told me I just needed a $35 oil change, and i am back on the road. In addition, AAMCO told me to bring the car in first thing in the morning and we'd have it looked at and diagnosed by 12 p. The timeframes were never stuck to and they were delayed each time. I wasted three days of dealing with them to get to a high quote and incorrect diagnosis. I eventually took off work one day to get my car properly fixed.
