That shop immediately confirmed the brake pads were installed backwards. This location initially denied any wrongdoing, despite clear evidence. Only after pushing did they agree to reimburse me for the out-of-state repair, but then promptly walked that back. Tyler, the manager, was incredibly unprofessional and actually told me I couldn't receive a refund because the store "didn't make any money that day" and refunding me would put him "in the negatives." That is not how refunds work, nor is it my problem. They are now refusing to issue any refund at all. If you value your safety, your time, or basic mechanical competence, do not take your car here. Sloppy work, dishonesty, and zero accountability.

The quote went from being $2,000+ to about $500. Sure enough, he was able to work some magic on my catalytic converter, replace some spark plugs, and tweak a couple other things here and there. I originally took the car because it had failed an emissions inspection. When I arrived to pick it up, I found that he had taken the liberty of bringing the car to an emissions place and had already gotten it passed. The paperwork was sitting on my dashboard. There is no written policy anywhere that says this. She then pushed me to pay their ridiculous ~$10 for photos taken there. No apology. No explanation. No attempt to help. Just attitude and a hard sell. She was condescending, rude, and could not hold a basic civil conversation. This is not just a bad employee. This is a management problem.
