My husband and I have been here a few times, each time we ordered chicken wings and Asian salad. Both very good quality and delicious. - we did not care for the pizza a bit soggy. I absorbed the person making the pizza, it turns out he took his thumb dipped thumb and spread it on the pizza he was constructing. That's about the only thing you turn me off.. either than That strange interaction, salads and chicken wings are absolutely outstanding! We initially didn't know how to order or if we got served at the table but my party of 6 people decided to have 2 people order and the rest including a few children grab a table to sit. This place was crowded- must be a popular local place. We were in this area already shopping somewhere else and found this place since we were all hungry. Pizza was so good, cheese steaks were good, fries were crispy but the cheese on the side was weird and had a bad taste( like cheap cheese from a can) I don't know it was gross though. We ordered through the Slice app today after calling to make sure they were open. I placed the order at 4:45 thinking it would take a while because no other local places are open after today's storm. At 6:30pm I called to ask if our driver was there (it said on the Slice app a driver was there waiting for our food). The nice man on the phone said no driver was waiting and our food had been sitting a long time. I ended up cancelling the order through Slice at 6:40pm, and of course it showed up 5 min later. People's wrote a note to let us know they cooked us a fresh pie and upgraded it from medium to large. They didn't have to do that and it was so nice after a day of shoveling and being stuck inside w a toddler. They are awesome and I will continue to order from them (not through the Slice app though). read more

Great pizza place. Went there today for lunch to try their slice of sausage pizza. It was very good. The slice looked like a NY style pizza but it was very light and crispy with an excellent crust. The sausage and cheese along with the sauce was flavorful. They must be doing something right to be there 50 years. I would definitely be back to try their other pizzas. We stopped at People's Pizza on a whim when we were nearby and looking for a quick meal. Pleasantly surprised by all of it - the food, service, and overall appearance of the place. Very cute inside, a lot of seating, easy parking, very clean. Service and display of food was great. I thought I knew what I wanted until I got inside and saw all the different pizzas in the case. We ended up grabbing 2 slices of veggie (white pizza with spinach, broccoli, and tomatoes), individual baked ziti, 2 orders of garlic knots, side of fries, and 4 drinks... cost around $44. The quality of the food was top notch. Everything came out piping hot and you can tell they use fresh ingredients - especially on the veggie pizza. It was delicious, not soggy or watery at all, veggies all had a good bite to them. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. read more

He was a big help with the size of the pizza and the toppings. So I got a medium with half cheese and half white pizza with broccoli, tomato, spinach, and different cheeses. I even went to use the restroom and it was just clean they had soap and you can even dry your hands. Came back out and looked around and their is a seating area. That you can sit down and enjoy and watch tv and have a conversation with whomever you are with. Or sit there and enjoy the food by yourself. The pizza was very good. I had to warm my slice of pizza up. Thin crust, light pizza sauce, but it was good. My husband even liked the pizza he didn't warm his slice up. The flavor of the pizza was good. I wanted to try other food items but we gave up meat for a couple months. They have a little car in the front of their restaurant. My last pizza experience was disappointing enough that tonight I took some extra time to cross-reference google and Yelp images and reviews and delivery apps to have the best chance of finding a yummy one. I settled on Peoples though I have had a less than satisfactory experience with them in the past (a friends order within the past six months.) I had this delivered to me still warm and fresh, so when I say it didn't taste good, I'm more referring to the barely-steamed (every time I've had broccoli on a pizza it was baked or sautéed) and still wet broccoli that was leaking excess water into the divots in the cheese and the pale, soggy mushrooms obviously plucked straight from a can. The smell of these two things combined made opening the pizza box a challenge of its own and after tasting the undercooked dough underneath it all I could barely finish a second piece. My personal feeling is this was $20 that went right down the drain and I had a difficult time writing such a bad review, but felt it was necessary after two bad experiences. read more

Other than that, it was fresh and toppings well-distributed. The wings were also salty, but I've had worse wings. The Buffalo sauce with it was good. This was the case when I ordered the People's Special pizza. The pizza was good but the crust was so thin it was not able hold all the topping and I had to eat it with a fork! The first slice I took, since it was still hot, half the toppings came off the pizza as I was trying to lift it. It's very good and you can tell the ingredients were fresh. The other minor issue is they didn't have red pepper flake packets since I was taking it on the road with me. I then had to sprinkle it on the whole pizza before I left. I have been passing this place my entire life and tonight was my first time giving them a try since it is national pizza day and a friend told me that they were good. I ordered a small Hawaiian pizza, small bbq chicken pizza, boneless wings, large curly fries and limoncello cake. The Hawaiian pizza barely had any toppings compared to the picture they have posted, slices were missing cheese and the toppings slid off of every slice as I pulled them out of the box. My wife said the bbq chicken pizza was alright, the boneless wings were decent and the fries were good. She has not had the cake yet so I can't comment on that just yet. My wife tried calling to let them know our dissatisfaction and whoever she spoke to told her that I mishandled it on the way home and that's why it came out that way. After arguing with her, he offered to make us another pizza and she made it clear we didn't want more...that she was just informing them. He would not let her get a word in otherwise so she hang up. He called back and she did not answer because she did not want to deal anymore. Needless to say that my lifelong pattern of passing them by will continue on being there are plenty of pizza places around here that we know make excellent tasting pizza. P.S. I was staying at a hotel in cherry hill and wanted to get some pizza delivered. The reviews for people's are pretty great so I decided to give it a try. I went with their curly fries, garlic bites and Hawaiian pizza. We'll start with the best thing- the French fries. They are frozen fries that they deep fry and serve, therefore you can't go wrong and they were tasty. Everything else was incredibly bland. I'm not sure how a person can make Hawaiian pizza that literally has no flavor but that's what I experienced from people's. The sauce had no flavor had all, the cheese was flavorless, the pizza seemed under cooked and the crust wasn't even good. The pineapple had no flavor and neither did the ham. I'm serious- it tasted like nothing. Edible, but not enjoyable whatsoever. The garlic bites tasted like dough balls with raw garlic dumped on top. Awful. The marinara sauce they were served with had no flavor either. Honestly, I would never order food from here again. read more
