It's almost impossible to find a local appliance repair person, let alone one you can totally trust! We've known Jason for a few years now. Jason is knowledgeable, accommodating, trust worthy, respectful, helpful, efficient, timely and his fees are MORE than fair! We never worry about him taking advantage of us or anyone we recommend him to. He ALWAYS returns calls. He does not EVER blow off a customer. If he isn't sure about something, he calls the resources he works with. I've heard him speak to people at GE re our dryer. He's always very patient and respectful. Our 3 month old new Frigidaire refrigerator/freezer was making noises-putting small puddles of water on the floor and had a freezer door seal that was loose. Benjamin was scheduled from a nearby town in a day or so and was very prompt with even a "heads up call" when he was 3 minutes away. He is super polite, very cordial and clean and tidy. Benjamin is a true "PRO" in all aspects from analysis to full repair in all aspects. He also has all the appropriate physical skills required for appliance repair from agility to dexterity and strength of moving a full size refrigerator/freezer. My theory was right; I bought new tires elsewhere for my daughter van and for my granddaughter and just have not had any issue like from this place. I recently purchased some glass tile for our backsplash. My husband has experience with installing…read moreceramic tile, but this was his first attempt at glass. There were only a few tiles that needed to be cut, to fit around the outlets, but the tiles that DID need cut kept cracking a few days after they were installed. So, he would take the cracked tile off, cut a new tile, re-install the tile, notice that it had cracked AGAIN, and repeated these steps over FIVE TIMES. We sought out advice from a few friends, but none of their suggestions worked. At this point, we just wanted the backsplash to be finished already, so I reached out to Cedar Valley Handyman and told them I would literally pay them to come install these last few tiles! The Handyman that I spoke with asked questions about what type of saw/blade we were using, what kind of adhesive we were using, etc. and was able to identify that we weren't using the correct adhesive for glass. The adhesive we were using was only for ceramic tile, and the pressure was causing the glass to crack. Mind you, my husband is a handyman himself, and even with years of experience this was new knowledge to him. We went out and purchased the adhesive they recommended, installed the last few tiles and as of a month later NONE OF THE NEW TILES HAVE CRACKED!! Of course I was impressed with their knowledge, but even more so I was EXTEREMELY impressed that instead of taking me up on my offer and getting paid to finish the job, they chose to offer FREE advice. If we ever run into more issues in the future that we can't resolve on our own, Cedar Valley Handyman will be the first company I call!
